Hopefully not. Young hungry players ts got to be. Davis and defoe are another example that it's the wrong way to go.

If we are looking for defenders or any other players we should be looking at players who are at a good age with sell on value and not players near the end of there career.
Katic and Goldson are good enough to be CB pairing next season and should be our Cb pairing.
There is plenty of young defenders who are out of contract this up and coming season and we should be looking at them instead.

Frustrated blue, your correct regarding Davis and Defoe, a massive let down for me, as has Lafferty. Skrtel, great on his day but not for me now. Gerrard knows what players have let him down and won't be here next season. It does concern me that he's been quoted as saying he may wish to keep Davis for next season. Coop, i know he's a favourite of yours and i thought he was magnificent for us first time around but for some reason he's just not producing enough. As it stands Davis Defoe, Lafferty can go.

I agree we need young hungry players brought in but i think the plan is to get in some experience to stop the 10 in a row celtic are going for then we can build a team.
