As all fellow bears on here knows, southampton have been linked with wanting to sign both james tavernier and scott arfield, from us. As we all know in football, money does talk and with the money the clubs get down in england, they could easily afford both our players. What do we think bears, how much minimum, being realistic of course,
could/ should we expect from southampton,
or any other club for that matter, for the combined transfer fee of both tav and arfield?
I reckon for both a fair fee would be £15million!

Minimum price for bang average squad players who don't even get 1st team minutes, in that league start at 15mill.
For our Captain and for me our player of the year in Arfield, tell them 25 mill and settle for 20.

Tav Has 49 goals and 77 assists in his 4 years with us and I know some of this was in the championship but this is his best year statistically. Who you are going to get to replace those assists is beyond me. Arfield in his last 8 or so games for us has been truly terrific how much a replacement would cost is probably silly money. I want us to improve and selling our best players won't achieve that. I love Kent but I'd rather us lose out on him and keep the others. ideally we keep all 3. Morelos is the only top player I'd consider selling. Coop I appreciate your posts but I would not take £15m for either one of them.
Having said all that its not my money so wiser heads may prevail.

It doesn't matter who the player
Is if a club comes in for them
And they want to leave it's time to
Let them go
Arfield has said he is happy in Scotland and his family is settled
So he unless the club want to sell
Him chances are he will not be leaving.
