Now that Lennon is confirmed as their manager (I always knew that was the plan when he left hives an brenda left them) , do us Rangers supporters think this will be to our advantage.

Personally I think it will as he is not the brightest trouble maker and did not have any real competition before he left them for a challenge then failed down south.

Bluebilly,
I think they have went for the obvious choice. They NEED '9' they now have someone who knows the league and what's needed, unfortunately
Next season going to be very interesting, if Stevie G kicks on with our squad.
Hard hats required!

He is the obvious choice as their attention is really on getting 9, then 10. Lennon they see as a safe pair of hands as he knows the club and support etc.
It could, and hopefully will come back to haunt them. I remember the stress trying for caused Rangers and I expect the same could well happen here.

They will change a few players, and much will depend on 2 things. How their defence is rebuilt and how quickly it blends. and how much tinkering NFL does to their style.

He is a good manager no doubt about that but he has nowhere near the ability or pulling power as brenda rodgers had, still has. They will lose a large amount of first team players, whether that be to contracts ending or people being sold or wanting out of the club. They do however have a much much larger budget to spend on players so this is really like us last year, they need to bring in players that will hit the ground running and that's not an easy task. I do think appointing lennon has played into our hands abit.
Just hope the 55 chat stays quiet and we get on with our own business win our own games bring in the correct players, and hurry up next season am bored at the weekends already.

I think we might be getting a bit ahead of ourselves with this Lennon talk! Being from the same town as Lennon I've certainly no love for him. He done a decent job last time he was there and also in champions league. I cringe when I see some of the comments suggesting because Lennon got the job it will be easier to win the league. Near as cringeworthy as the going for 55 campaign when we came up from the championship!
