It looks like SG now has a well balanced settled side ALL aiming to do well, with those on the fringes being moved on. In saying that however, the Kent saga rumbles on - IMO I think it is now becoming embarrassing, we should not be waiting for one player for so long, especially one that doesn't seem to want to join us. I now do not think that we need him, and if Liverpool come calling we take him on our terms, not theirs.

Now now cato its not becoming embarrassing we knew from the get go he would be back at liverpool gor a while at least in pre season mainly because the big guns ain't ther just now and also for klopp to have a look, if he comes back it was always going to be later in the window sg stated this in may nothings changed.

Fergie - we did not know that it was going to be later. We found out after he went back to Liverpool that they wanted to sell him, for £12 million, which they still do. Then we found out that they wanted a £1 million pound for his loan services. Then we found out they would have a look at him during the summer. It should also be remembered SG has been in long discussions about him to no avail. The season ended in May and it is now mid July - if Liverpool do not know about a player that they have had since he was 7 or 8 years old then they never will.

Quite frankly we have a squad to die for now, in comparison to anything we have had in years. Club is now pretty much debt free now too after the soft loans were turned into shares. Also club is now managing to pay its way.

oh and in the latest world ratings in the daily rhebel we are 10 places ahead of the local opposition. not bad eh.

Kent will be icing on the cake . the boy is desperate to come back but Is contracted to Liverpool. The Liverpool manager has to do what he feels is right fir Liverpool, no matter his alliance with stevie. so we will just have to wait Cato but it’s all looking very positive. said that before previous seasons but this year . welll

Noticed on Sunday Stevie screaming at players for not getting the ball to the wing fast enough when a break was on . This was moments after we had scored a goal too . Go STevo gooo exactly what we need and want.

Cato that's why players go out on loan bud to get game time and see if they progress hence why klopp will be having a look after kent playing all seaso, and as for it being mid july your bang on lol they've played 2 friendlies so ther having a look at him this was always going to be the way don't know what your missing.

Last season was the 1st time he's had a proper full season the guy has a contract so they wouldn't be doing there job not looking at him, anyway my original gripe was u saying it was embarressing which its not as this was always going to happen all the hopeful rumours / headlines have been driven by social media or the media not rangers i'd guess liverpool needty name ther 25man squad around august so should pick up after that imo.

Fergie - I am not trying to have a pop at you or our club. SG has admitted that he wants Kent. SG has admitted that he has held talks to try and get him on loan - at £1 million per loan season! SG has said we cannot afford to buy him. SG has not heard back from Liverpool as to what they will be doing with him. Liverpool have stated that they want to sell him - that did not happen. Kent has been with Liverpool for 15 years - he is now 22 and will be 23 on 11th November 2019. Surely, Liverpool who are a massive club and have a huge backroom staff, detailing and measuring every aspect of a players life know what they have or not in Kent? And Rangers who are also a massive club should not be waiting on one player, Kent or otherwise, and by the looks of our new balanced side we really don't need him.
