Yes I know it was a friendly but Wow, just wow! How is the manager going to pick a team from this squad? I've heard some on here refer to Candeiaas as not good enough. Thought he was superb and the second goal was a world class finish against a 19 million pound defender. Best squad in a long time and am now buzzing for the league to start. They must be worried over at breezeblock boulevard, they really must be.

Marseille are having a woeful preseason. Don't know if your aware, Accrington Stanley bet them 2-1. A team like Marseille even out of form should of bet them.

Your not having a great pre season yourselves drawing with Rennes who finished 10th and 5 places below Marseille last season. Marseille have added to that team last year they had over â‚¬150m worth of players on show and we ran over them. The fact they had 90mins in their legs after playing Accrington just makes 4-0 more impressive.

We didn't field a first team either philtim88. God knows what our first team is going to look like! Well done though for finding a negative in our absolute humping of a top French side. How did the Rennes match go again, bearing in mind they finished well below Marseilles and have spent threepence on transfers pre season? Answers on a postcard.
