If Rangers draw wolves, we are out .

I thought we would have to play them first?

2.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 19:47:31
Pessimistic much 🙄 I’m glad we’ve got more optimistic people in charge than you.

3.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 20:01:32
Jeez Jim that's a tad negative.

4.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 20:03:00
Hows that then jim09? Mid table prem team. Aberdeen almost knocked out burnley when they finished 7th i am being honest and i would be confident beating them at ibrox.

5.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 20:45:27
To be fair there is a strong chance that wolves would put us out, just because there is a fair amount of truth in what jim is saying doesn't mean he is negative. I'm sure he is optimistic but a realist at the same time. 👍.

6.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 20:48:49
Not going to be as definite as Jim however he does have a point, we definitely want to avoid Wolves in the draw, they’re a very strong team, finished top half of the premiership and have a ridiculously massive budget compared to us. If anyone watched them at all last season (especially when they knocked Liverpool out the F A cup) they will know how good they can be.

7.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 20:52:42
What is the point of that post on a Rangers forum?

I could see it on the Celtic page posted in a gloating manner but don’t see the point on here.

8.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 21:02:09
Dk half your posts don't have any point on here. So you want people to post opinions through blue specs only? Your post is nonsense Dk.

Wolves are a good team but honestly, I don’t fear anybody just now, we will spank a lot of teams this year.

10.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 21:17:58
There's no doubt wolves are a decent premier league team but c'mon at least we've got is a decent chance I wouldn't write us off so soon.

11.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 22:12:45
I hope that isn't based on a 1-1 draw with Blackburn in a pre season friendly. Wolves would be a rough draw but in all honesty I think we would fare better against better teams - on the counter we are good, breaking defensive teams down we are making big strides but a good bit to go.

12.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 21:20:15
What a defeatist post Jim 09 if that's the case why bother even turning up just forfeit the tie! Jeez ohh.

13.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 21:25:11
I would fancy our chances particularly at ibrox but to shoot jim down for what is a strong possibility is just nonsense. Wolves were great to watch. 👍.

Sorry coldo, next time I consult you before posting an opinion!

By the way, you post as if you know everything and anyone who disagrees is wrong - WRONG!

My views are consistent - I support the club, the team, and the manager through thick and thin.

I trust that SG is the right guy and that the board have the best interests of the club at heart whilst risking their own £millions.

I believe that coaching and encouragement gets results even out of less talented players and think that constant negative comments are damaging.

The exception is that negative comments can be faced up by negative comments, hence, I think you are full of sugar when you rubbish almost every other post.

Wolves are a decent side with some good players and would be slight favourites if we drew them
We are 2-3 weeks ahead of them in terms of Pre Season fitness and have the experience of playing in Europe and how to set up especially away from home.
Add on the underdogs tag and shifting the pressure onto them, there’s also the fact many English sides see this competition as a hinderance to their league campaign in the early rounds.
like I said they would be slight favourites IMO but only just.

16.) 21 Jul 2019
21 Jul 2019 22:48:15
You just shot down jim for having an opinion.

17.) 22 Jul 2019
22 Jul 2019 05:12:35
There's quite a lot of pesemists masquerading as realists on here. I for one would relish a game against wolves and I'd even go as far as to say we've got the squad to give them a right good game. Bring them on.

18.) 22 Jul 2019
22 Jul 2019 06:25:06
I would most definitely relish a europa qualifying game against wolves. We would give them a game even over 2 legs, no doubt about imo anyway. As Govanhillblue says, bring it on. Would b a cracking tie.

19.) 22 Jul 2019
22 Jul 2019 07:05:04
Let's wait for the draw first!

20.) 22 Jul 2019
22 Jul 2019 08:12:25
Everyone so touchy on here, settle down princesses!

21.) 22 Jul 2019
22 Jul 2019 09:23:03
If we drew inter Milan we should relish such a challenge. To expect to be out against Wolves is negativity in the extreme. We would win it over two legs and at the very least they would be in a game they wouldn't forget. Onwards!

22.) 22 Jul 2019
22 Jul 2019 09:26:25
I want the perceived easiest team. we need to be in group stages financially.
If we get wolves it will be a test of how far we have came and how far we have to go .

23.) 22 Jul 2019
22 Jul 2019 09:36:45
Still easily rather avoid them, quality all over the park.

24.) 22 Jul 2019
22 Jul 2019 10:16:34
So
If we avoid Wolves in all rounds we are a cert for the final?
Nobody else any good who is left?

25.) 22 Jul 2019
22 Jul 2019 10:54:09
I'm as much optimistic as the next guy I really have high hopes every time Rangers play but IF we get wolves my blood pressure will go sky high I watched this wolves team last season there play is very slick neat n tidy there clever splitting a defence with 2 or 3 passes from midfield they get in behind extremely dangerously quick that's what worries me but on the flip side I do believe anything can happen at ibrox.

26.) 22 Jul 2019
22 Jul 2019 11:38:07
EPL sides normally downplay the early rounds of the Europa League.
Let’s hope Wolves do IF we draw them.
I still fancy us to turn them over at Ibrox👍.

22 Jul 2019 14:39:46
Never mind us not wanting wolves, I bet they're glad they never drew the mighty Gers.
