I have been a Rangers supporter for 50 years and I salute Celtic for winning the league. The best team won fair and square, we gave them a run for their money until we fell apart in pathetic style. Nobody to blame but ourselves i. e. the players and the manager (although a lack of funds contributed) . Lots of comments on here saying we need players with winning mentalities, but that is exactly what Gerrard went out to buy, but obviously failed. The players were soft, lacked grit, determination, a hatred of losing, and most of all the skill and ability to succeed. A lot of changes required to turn this around.

Totally agree Muppet, For me we need to win the league next year or it's bye bye sg, do we have to win the league or will a cup do for you and if we win nothing do you give sg another crack at it, for me it has to be the league.

Spot on Mr Tupacman! The Muppet, how can you WIN a league fair and square when we had 9 games to play and them 8,with 2 old firm games left to play? They didn't win anything pal,
they were awarded the league title simple as that! On the steven gerrard talk, i would say he has to deliver silverware next season and i truly believe he will. The league we all know is the main one and i truly think it will be very close for the title next season! In gerrard i trust! If we can be more consistent against the so called smaller clubs,
we'll win the league because gerrard has proved he can beat them and apart from 2 old firm games, since he became rangers manager, we've played celtic off the park. This AIN'T a great celtic team by any stretch of the imagination! Get behind stevie G and the players and i'm confident we will win the league!

Sorry Muppet but they did not win the league. Neil and his mates conspired to get it concluded and they were awarded it. It wasnt won because all the games weren't played.

muppet, won fair and square and you salute them well good luck with that one if the league was played to a finish like a lot of countrys are doing I would agree with the fair and square bit but the fact they were gifted the league I don't know how you can salute them.

If Gerrard doesn’t win the league title next year then I think he 100% will leave the club he knows that’s what he’s here for and if he can’t do it in 3 years he will walk, and if he doesn’t we should get rid anyway, that mob are nothing special a Walter Smith team would have walked the last couple of seasons and that’s what we should be aspiring to.

Sorry guys but you have to accept the reality, Celtic won the league, albeit the competition was ended early, they were miles in front and there was no way we were going to catch them. You can dream all you like but it was just not going to happen, we were playing so bad we couldn't beat any of the teams at the bottom of the league, let alone put a winning streak together to enable us to go on and top the table.

It's pure fantasy. Celtic are the champions and it is now all about next season, let's see if Gerrard can turn it around. I for one have moved on and have accepted that Celtic are the champions and even if the league had been played to a conclusion they would have ended top, to believe otherwise is just wishful thinking. Don't get me wrong I would have loved nothing better than to have see us turn it around but it is just not realistic with the way we were playing which to remind you all, was awful.

No title won. Perhaps our small group of players ran iut of steam and our opponents with greater resource were always favourites. Perhaps we punched above our weight? I don't like the constant criticism of Steve G and a group if honest pros.
