Decent striker is sam cosgrove mate but lyndon dykes is better imo and both strikers have similar attributes but the one thing for me that sets them apart is pace! Big dykes is much faster than cosgrove!

Dykes and Cosgrove are both mince they look good in average teams and that’s where they belong neither of them have Great goal scoring records they are smash and grabers I would hate to see us go down that route.

Both dykes or cosgrove could come in as a back up striker that's about it. If your talkin about them replacing morelos as number 1 striker be aswel handing celtic another treble now. Some team were going to have eh? Doc and ferguson in middle with dykes and cosgrove up front. Were ment to move forward each season not backwards.

Cosgrove is a carthorse, nowhere near what we require to take us up a level. Dykes is the same, just a wee bit lighter on his feet. Really, the players some of you suggest would be good enough to move us forward are a joke. These guys play for bang average clubs in one of the poorest leagues in Europe for a reason, you know.

Been going to see glasgow rangers for 43 years now and many many a great night did the super one give me over the years! Greatest rangers goalscorer in our history! As manager i'll sum it up as unfortunate and it was the right job at the wrong time for super ally!

SGL, I agree mate, I dismay when I read some of the comments about our players, or, potential players being discussed on this form. We need to get real here, there is not the money around to pay multi millions for players for this league up here. We just need to toughen up in certain positions, shut the players up in the media, and play with a belief.

Not sure that any of the players are good enough for us, and I include Shankland in that. I keep thinking that if Ferguson were good enpugh he would be at Ibrox just now. I know you can get late developers but any time I've seen Ferguson playing for the sheep I don't see anything special. I'm sure that with the investment and the Europe money along with the kit deal money we will be aiming higher.

Chill out, what would you do if you woke up tomorrow morning and the headlines were "Rangers sign Cosgrove and Shankland.
There's not a lot you could do.

If this as you say one of the poorest leagues in Europe they should do OK.
I worked in Ayr for 7 months and got to see Shankland a few times 4 to be exact and he scored 5 in they 4 games
I thought he will be doing that at Ibrox soon still a young guy and already played for his country.

I remember Charlie nicholas banging them in for the celtic, I was happy when he left for arsenal but totally diff player couldn't find the net.
Shankland big Rangers fan big goal scorer and big future he would play his heart ♥ out for us.

Like Nicholas play better for the team you support, especially when you've got 50,000 fans chanting your name every other week.
