A lot on here are saying good riddance to Hearts, well I disagree. I don't believe their leadership have covered themselves in glory neither during this farce or in 2012 but that's not the supporters fault so I wish them luck in court and hope justice prevails.
If this season was never to be finished then the only FAIR out come was to cancel the season and play this season with all standings from last season counting ie champions league, europa places etc. but awarding championships and relegating clubs was only ever heading in one direction, court.

JYF, got to agree, especially when you've mentioned their fans. So why was the Scottish premiership stopped and Celtic handed the league when we could of mathematically still of won the league. Especially when England are continuing and other countries. I can't get my head around that.

Guys think back to 2012, when we were kicked out and put in the 3rd tier because we used an EBT Scheme which was LEGAL during the time we used it, HMRC backdated their decision, I don't remember anybody in Scottish Football feeling sorry for us apart from Kilmarnock at that time.

totally agree jyf and stuck. the English played out their football and we didn't. really. cancelled early to avoid a penalty. we did not and had to pay anyway. so let's penalize somebody to make it real.

The SPFL were steamrollered into handing Celtic the title, nothing else mattered, clubs being relegated or not promoted were deemed acceptable collateral damage as long as Celtic getting the title was done very, very quickly. That from a director chum but it was nothing we didn't all know.

Jyf, I agree 2 wrongs don't make a right, but, we are still paying the price for our demotion, we are only now just beginning to look settled financially as a Club, and at long last, we appear to have people in charge with a business and common sense brain, we have to walk before we run from now on. The hatred towards our Club should never be forgotten by our Fans, yes, a lot of Hearts Fans did probably disagree with what happened to us, but, their Club didn't. As for Brechin, that's where the crux of this legal battle lies as far as I'm concerned, completely non-sensical.
