A lot of folk on here saying (without seeing him play) that Balugan will be 4th choice defender. I disagree, I can see him playing alongside Goldson as first choice. Let’s see!

Muppet, in absence of Helander I think you could be correct.

Very decent addition, good experience and has good turn of pace.

Sons of struth according to Wigan fans he has been great for them and the championship is a better stronger league than the spfl.

Sonoftruth I've never heard of this lad but you say he hasn't played for 3 years and we got him for free, doesn't sound that great then. So what's the reason he hasn't played for 3 years? Has he been injured or is he mince? As I say I've never heard of him.

You don't get 32 caps with the Super Eagles if you are not good.

Irvger, Efe Ambrose has 50 caps.

So why he not played for 3 years apparently ? Only asking, as I've said I've never heard of him.

We are his 9th club in 13 seasons. The apitomy of a journeyman.

He was at Brighton to be fair was probably back up never broke into 1st team picture went on loan to Wigan where he was a stand out performer in Wigans eyes still lacks match sharpness and the season is a week away but i hope he steps up to the challenge.

Most of the Nigerian International Team would walk into the Scotland Team if available, so, Balugan, and yes, Effe Ambrose, are in reality probably better players than anything in Scotland, just my opinion. I prefer also to trust our Manager and wait and see him play before commenting, I said in a post a while back, that I was at Rugby Park the day Colin Jackson made his Rangers debut in a 2-0 defeat, he got pelters that day, but, look how turned out.

I've been saying on the rumours site that he is a poor signing and been slaughtered. Some folk on here are blinded. We keep buying guys coming to the end of thier career, all be it greegs is different. We bought Defoe and Davis. Both done well but are prone to injury. Look at Defoe. Out already. Being saying it for months. We need more youth and energy in our side. Our young guys have no chance. Then folk say "oh but thier not good enough for the first team" well when are they going to be food enough? Never? We've bought journey men since getting dumped in to Div 3. Sorry rant over.

He doesn't need to be better than Katic etc ut needs to be better than Brophy, Watt, etc etc.

The lad has played 3 competitive matches in last 10 days, should be match fit and available for selection immediately.

I've not seen him play, anyone who says they have is talking nonsense and as for trusting the manager on signings, there isn't one at the club right now, with the exception of Arfield and McGregor, that has turned out a huge success in his two seasons. Gredza, Jones, Davis, Ojo, Worrall, Sadiq and Barker have all been pretty poor signings. Goldson, Kamara and Defoe haven't been consistent enough and both Goldson and Kamara have made horrendous mistakes to cost us important matches last season. Helander can't be judged as he hasn't played enough football, Kent hasn't done it (yet), Aribo falls into the same category, Hagi has pass Marks this far and Katic too, Barasic has had a good half season and needs to improve on where he left off before lockdown. The crown jewel of our team is a Pedro signing (Morelos) which is mind boggling considering the time and money Gerrard has had.
