What a difference in our play when itten went through the middle and roofe in there with him. We had players in the box that we could aim crosses at instead of that daft tippy tappy going nowhere crap. Two up top is the way to go.

Kent and davis were class. Thought barker was very good.

If we can get anywhere near 16mil for fredo, take it. 👍.

Totally agree with thus post. Why do we continually play guys out of position. Itten was bought as a centre forward but we put him out on the wing. Why? . We play him in his correct position and it clicks and we look a lot better. Mr G always states we learn and move on so for once lusten learn and play Itten in his correct position with two up top.

Went 2 through the middle and it paid dividends after 5 mins! Surely the way to go when teams sit in. Only issue it will give him is what does he do with Aribo when he comes back but I much preferred us with Itten and Roofe through the middle.

The same frailties were there in the first half playing 4-3-2-1 and 4-4-2 as they were playing Gerrard’s preferred 4-3-3!
We still struggled to break down Killie, just like we did Livi last week.
The difference was we turned up this week.
Nothing to do with tactics🤦‍♂️
Did we score more goals than in any other game? No.
Did we dominate possession again? Yes!
It looked good because we constantly pumped balls forward but the quality was horrendous first half.
But you’ll try and spin it you were right along.
Time will tell.
I prefer to praise the manager for having the courage to drop Morelos and go with the 2 new strikers.

We went two through the middle in the 2nd half and it worked great. We played 1 up top 1st half with itten wide and we struggled👍.

hardly worked great coldo, did itten get a goal or an assist or am i missing something.

like it or not 4231 is the correct formation. we aren't keeping it wide enough and putting good enough balls into the box. shooting from outside the box doesn't work either unless you hope a few flukes will win the game.

the team got a rocket at half time and a couple of long balls did mix it up but none of the goals came from that tactic.
