I said on weds that Rangers should get 2 goals up and change the team and get critical players off that park ASAP, some who don’t know the damage both short and long term didn’t see the importance of that, playing on plastic damages the joints and can have a massive impact on the muscles, turning and tackling is putting more stress on the bones and ligaments, it’s time these pitches were banned completely.

Totally agree, my old joints can testify to that.

although i agree i don't like the pitches it don't seem to effect the pros who play on them evwry single day? livi etc. and surely a better surface than red ash growimg up which young lads seem to play on no bother?

one thing about red ash is that you never went to ground unless absolutely necessary lol, plenty or memories picking bits of ash out my knees many times.

The ash pitches were murder. Hated playing on them. Didn't play on astro till I was about 38. Leg muscles aching after every game. On grass, no problem.

Totally agree tomthumb there's probably only 3 people in Scotland who actually like these pitches and that's the chairmen of livi, Hamilton and killie.

Nothing better than a mitre Mold master scudding you full force anywhere really on the body. That feeling of chocking to cry but ye cannot because yer teammates will slate ye forever. Haha. Can feel it the noo.

Dont Greet don’t greet! Haha.

Loved black ash but red ash had big lumps in it scratched legs to hell.
