Someone posted the last day about succession of Gerrard when it comes. My thoughts was Barry Ferguson possibly not as as manager straight away but maybe in with a coaching team to step up l8ter. What's everyone s thoughts. I await a slating😆.

Gerrard and team have improved all areas of the club and brought it right up to date to an elite level. He came from an elite club and has now given us the right environment to attract top players and for existing players to reach their potential. It was a calculated gamble to bring in Gerrard but his gravitas, intelligence and choice of back room team enabled him to pull it off, well so far. I don't think any current Scottish manager could have pulled it off to the same degree. I personally would not object to Mick Beale. He might not be able to attract top players in the same manner as SG but he is a very well respected coach so prospective players might just come to develop themselves.

Gerrard wins 55 it will be a hard act to follow just think Ferguson has respect from players and the same drive to win Gerrard has. Was managed by the best manager we've had In my opinion. It may be hard to find someone who will be a better fit.
