The fans have a big part to Play v napoli. We can't jump down players throats with one bad pass. Get behind the team and Hooe it kicks players into gear get a performance out them.

the fans will be what we always are mate, it’s the players who need to show pride and respect their wages demands.
rangers fans will always be there, they need to be there too.

Ban is right. thumb your not. Players sit by and watch their wages go in even if on the bench. we need the 90s team back when they played for the shirt and fans. we don’t have that no more. but saying that we started off bad last season and went on a great euro run. not saying going happen again but we can hope….

I'm not saying fans aren't always there. What am meaning is these players need us more than ever. We have had two heavy away defeats. Confidence is going to be at an all time low lift the roof of ibrox and believe we can beat napoli. Too much doom and gloom at the moment. Yes we have been bad last two games but it's only two games. Let's kick start our season with a massive win.

Banxger, that depends on your view as a fan.

Some fans understand that no matter how much a player (or most other folk) gets paid, confidence is a factor in their performance and when they hear boos every time they go near the ball they do not perform as well as they can

Other fans think that supporting a player through the dark days is irrelevant when compared to their right to express an opinion

I have never come across a successful manager (in any industry) who has got great results by regularly telling his team how useless they are.

People forget that we have had some horrendous results all through . 80s 90s whenever .
That’s football but sone forget and just use false rhetoric to whip the current team.

One thing i do remember Mols from the 80s and 90s is after some bad results that the masses never called for the board or managements heads.

never have booed rangers players, have criticised afterward though, that’s football, the fans will always support, the players need to play,

hi cheers, i don’t think anyone actually at the game will be calling, i certainly wouldn’t but i won’t be there, i think in the 80/ 90s rangers won so many titles, cups etc that forgiveness usually came in next game, i’m in my 70s now, and i remember rangers fans getting angry with players who appeared not to be giving 100%, we are famous for it, but will also give the utmost support for a player who is giving his all, , i still have 3 s/ t and occasionally i have pals using them but i wouldn’t have anyone sitting in my seats shouting abuse at rangers players, that’s for the house imo,
we will always support, we might moan about players at home or in the pub but we will always support at ibrox, there is an element who always abuse but they are everywhere, nope, moaning about players is for the pub, or here.

Agree tomthimb. They take the plaudits when they play well, need to stand up and be counted, when times are tough. Even showing some desire and workrate will get plaudits from the fans. Never booed at a game but people have a right to criticise afterwards, if they feel players are not performing. Absolutely nothing wrong with it.

To think where we were 10 years ago compared to where we are now, I feel we have done great.
