Ethelbert colak was not our top goalscorer last season, he finished on 18 same as tavernier who got 18. So at best he was joint.
He only scored 4 under MB as MB does not play the way that accommodates Colak.
Imo your point is irrelevant as Colak will be gone this window.

First on here with regards to colak, was he didn't score in 11 games that was proven wrong. then it was he's only scored four since October that was proven wrong. Now the latest is he only scored 4 since mb came in, well he only started 6 so not so bad. I get colak doesn't fit our style of play but this constantly trying to make him look bad isn't working guy's. The fact of the matter is he's scored 18 goals in 26 starts. You can dress that up anyway you like it's better than 1 in 2. These rumours of him not wanting to play if he feels a niggle are just rumours unless someone can tell me for fact. He was brought here by one manager to play a certain way, that manager is obviously gone and he now doesn't fit into how we want to play is that his fault no.

If Ryan Kent would have taken the ball to the by line and wide positions and cut the ball into the box instead of running about trying to take on everyone @ their granny with no end result. Colak would have scored more. ?.

I love how the parameters are changed to make some strikers appear better than others.
First it was games started. Then it was minutes played.
He has 18 goals in 39 appearances in his Rangers career which isn't that bad considering he had a couple of injuries. Nearly a goal every 2 games.
Will he be here next season or even our 1st choice striker? I'm not so sure.
Between 06/ 11/ 22 and 26/ 02/ 23, Rangers played 15 games and Colak failed to score in any.
He was injured for 5 games.
Not in the squad for 2 games.
An unused sub for 2 games.
And played a part in 6 games.
Beale has been manager for 29 games.
Colak scored 4 goals in that time.
He was injured for 5 games.
Not in the squad for 9 games.
An unused sub for 1 game.
And played a part in 14 games.

So games that he came on as a sub don’t count these days? He scored 4 goals since Beale came in that is FACT yes he was injured for some of it but Beale also thought a disinterested Alfredo was a better fit for the team than colak which says a lot about what Beale thinks of colak.


Ps I think colak is a good goalscorer just not suited to the way the manager wants to play.

Colak does not suit Beales system but still top scorer, Beales system does not suit winning league, as last year proved not enough goals scored to win games, player mentioned do not appear to have great scoring record.

Boy blue I didn't copy anybody post, I've been debating this with ethelbert for a while. I don't care if colak stays or goes, I'm just fed up with ethelbert making out he's such a fantastic player as imo he is not. He's a poacher, I think he brings very little else to the team. Better options available and he can say he wants to fight for his place all he likes, if MB brings in new strikers he'll be frozen out as MB just does not want him as he can't play the way The manager wants. I believe he's not committed enough and pulls out of games for the slightest thing. We want committed players and he's not it.

Of those 14 games you mentioned he wasn't on the park for 7 of them to be able to score. For the other 7 games 90mins 67mins 45mins 18mins 14mins 7mins 11mins. So for you to say he failed to score in 14 games when he wasn't even on the park Is just ridiculous. Mrpotatohead can I ask you a question you do you remember you said halland is a team player because of the amount of assists he has and that colak wasn't as he only had one. Kyogo only has 2 assists last 2 year does that mean he's not a team player also? No!

Kyogo and colak are two different players altogether Kyogo is a team player his runs make space for others. Maybe he assists the assister tho did you check his stats for that.

I said the same when others were comparing Shankland to Morelos and Colak this season.
Potential for either to have an additional 13 goals ( if they were in the squad at the time ) .
Could have been an additional 60 goals on Morelos tally alone these past 6 years?.

Morelos is one of the worst one on one strikers I've ever witnessed. I doubt he'd make a very good penalty kick taker. Colak is completely different, though he's very good one on one.
