Any views on yefeko performance.

Played well looked strong and played a couple good passes. Should’ve got tighter to isak before he turned for the second goal and kept him facing away from goal. Once he let him turn it was always going to be a tough ask to tackle him. Having said that I felt much more confident in him at the back than Davies. Balogun Souttar and Yfeko would all play in front of him now for me.

Thought he was outstanding John. A big lad and looked very comfortable and tidy on the ball and not afraid to put himself about. Unfair to compare him too early, but looks like a more composed Bassey based on tonight’s showing. Was delighted to see him get time on the pitch and hope to see a lot more in the next few games. He looks ready to play.

David. Agree with you on their goal, however in his defence he’s the left centre back, covering wright who is not a right back,

I was impressed with him John he looks a unit and he can play, very calm on the ball can defend and has an eye for a pass.

Fair point John he was definitely dragged out of position but I think with a bit more experience he still gets tighter while isak is controlling it. Once he’s turned even the top defenders in the prem would struggle to stop him. I’m sure he’ll learn from it can’t give these guys at the top a sniff or they’ll punish you.

Coully yes he can play lb, however I see him as a beller ch, he does not tend to go up the line as well as Bassey

Never happen but him ch and Bassey lb would have solved a lot of our defensive issues.

Yfeko looked assured and composed. he's a big boy and reminded me of how bassey played.
