I understand the panic many fans have aftwr pre season and sat my question is if we go out to servette and lose to them is that enough for fans to say time to change because the arguement many put when gio was in charge was we didn't act soon enough so when is soon enough now. I personally think MB gets until the split unless we've fallen too far behind and hope he gers it right but admit i have concerns.

Hey man, guys spent money but hardly had moment to gel and already knives are being unscathed. I believe he's going to need couple months get team working together. If after that I'll be first, but as for myself he gets time simply on previous humping of Tim's.

It all depends on the nature of the hypothetical defeats.

If we see more of the same, I'd say act quickly.

Onewaltersmith, absolutely no chance will michael beale be sacked if we lost out against servette and neither he should be! Its a lot of new signings that can take time to bed in so patience i believe is needed at this moment in time ?.

Deary me, let’s give it a few games at least. Folk forget that all the players our friends across the city signed never hit the ground running. They were rotten for the first several games. Unfortunately they caught up because we were rotten thereafter. That’s my main worry is we will get up to speed but they won’t fall back.

May- Gio qualifies for Seville to play in the Europe Final.
August- Gio qualifies for the champions league group stages beating 2 tough opponents including PSV in the playoff round.
3 months later in November Gio loses his Job and its too soon for some.
Wow I’d argue he should have been given more time and the opportunity to build his own squad this summer.
IMO Gio was very harshly treated.

At the end of the day, Beale's tenure as Rangers Manager rests with the Board so it matters not what we think. He has been given the support by the Board, he has openly stated that he is happy with the defence and he puts the 11 players on the park that he believes will win the game.

The problem that the support has is that his team selection and tactics at the weekend did not work and he waited more than an hour to change things. Come mid September if we are out of the champions League and trailing our nearest rivals by 9 or more points and showing no signs of improvement he will be in trouble. I hope he turns it round, especially since I wanted him to get the job, but I am mindful that he wasn't everyone's first choice and some of those that didn't want him know a lot more about the game than I do.

Yez its 1 game and i said in my post i want him to succeed but its a fair question if we go out of the Cl and fall 6 behind celtic many fans will have had enough MB earned this chance but let's not forget our abjevt display under him in the cup final and loss in semi and this guy was asst to gerrard when we played woeful and struggled to break teams down b4 sG left.

Agree about Gio. Surely the horrendous injury list played a huge part in what happened to him. Even Postecoglu had sympathy with his situation and said he would have struggled himself with more than half of his first picks out for most of the season.
