Following on from the announcement from the Ibrox rocks podcast, at New Edmiston House, that Yimaz, Dessers and Dowell have been told to find new clubs, Heart and hand have followed up by stating that they think "we'd listen to offers for most of the squad". If this is true, it looks like it hasn't taken PC long to know that this squad is nowhere good enough, and needs replaced, quickly?

There is a really good, but depressing post, on the Rangers media site, where one of the moderators listed our signings from the last 2.5 years since we won the league, how much we spent on them, and how much we pay them. It is not good reading!

We have spent over £20m in transfer fees, paid out large signing on fees, and paid ridiculous wages to players like Sterling, Matondo, and the rest. For what? One SC, and that's it! Our transfers in have been nothing short of embarrassing, and have taken us backwards at an alarming rate. Oh, and it's no coincidence, that these signings were made during Wilson's tenure, or a few months after he left when his recommendation, Beale, was left to create absolute havoc.

Our board, for whatever reason, allowed an absolute clown of a man, with very little experience, have a free reign in all footballing matters, and left him to his own devices, in buying, and selling players. WTF? Honestly, as much as I believe Beale created this cluster f*#k, the board are just as complicit and must be held accountable for allowing this tool to leave us in the mess we find ourselves in.

I feel sorry for PC, but he accepted the job, and he must now get on with it, but my God, he has his hands full.

If the whole squad is basically up for sale then why would any of them go the further mile when the chips are down. League will be over before the split after defeat at Hearts and Celtic.

Very good post Raisetheroofe and agree with all of it

Our signings have been mostly abysmal and where on the pitch can we claw back some of this money Is anyone’s guess
Has been saying it for a while regarding our recruitment but you get called a Naysayer on here
When all your doing is pointing out the obvious and when the stats and performances back it up then I’m not sure how some people still think these players are worthy of our jersey

Hoping PC can get rid of the majority and build a decent spine over the next two windows


Any talk of Morelos or Kent coming back is mind blowing their in the past it’s time to move forward and move forward without a majority who’s still here
But we can’t continue to be spending these amounts on tender fees and wages and signing on bonuses otherwise we will be right back to where we were staring administration insolvency liquidation in the face

we can only hope now PC can get some moved on and him and his new assistants and new DOF can get heads together in new year and get some really promising talent lined up for summer

Heart and Hand podcast has admitted it was their opinion that Yilmaz, Dowell and Dessers could be sold . It wasn`t any inside knowledge like it has been portrayed. I would imagine the Cantwell and Lammers rumours will be the same . We can`t keep harping back to what has happened with poor signings, we know, but we have these players and there's nothing we can do about it at the moment. What I would say is that we still have better players than the rest of the SPFL teams bar one and that almost all of our squad would walk into these opposition sides. We should be doing a lot better than losing to Killie and drawing and losing to Aberdeen. We need to give the new manager time to sort out the attitude and the team set up.
