Without injury list growing we are struggling for a team tomorrow. I think the team picks itself. Butland in goal. Back 4 tav, goldson, balogun, barasic. Holding midfield sterling, soutar. Then McCausland, cantwell, sima. With dessers up front.

I think soutar may well be thrown into midfield as we have no other options although I'd like to see young Baily rice thrown in. Think we will win but it will not be pretty. Hopefully lundstram back for old firm game Ryan jack should be back as well.

Sorry Cantwell 2023, but if you’re going to throw in a youngster it must be at home or 3 goals ahead if away.
Kieran Dowel for Souttar would be my choice.
All these injuries not just ours, when are they going to be fit before the international break before we had an international break.

Looks like Dowell will play beside Stirling, did alright there against Saints to be fair, the rest look like the most chance of starting.

Could be wrong but i feel dowell would get swallowed up in an old firm. I think souttar in midfield wouldn't be such a bad idea. Might not offer much in an attacking sense but extra height for set pieces is where we could really hurt them. Goldson, balogun, souttar, sima, dessers all big guys. And they aren't breaking down teams well at the moment so could work. Walter smith was prone to a curveball in these games. Also have 2 more games for the injury situation to get worse. certainly isn't getting better. See how it goes today, fingers crossed.

My worry against Celtic is not lack of height but more a lack of pace in midfield, they have McGregor floating around all over the midfield pulling the strings and has to be stopped can't see Souttar being effective in midfield against them. If we are to beat them we need pace amd energy, Dowal, Souttar etc don't bring that to the middle of the park.
