Morelos has a lot of potential he bullies defenders scores goals assists his team mates all at the age 22 year old this lad will do this were ever he goes on to play.

Morelos was watched by the Fulham scout Brian Talbot at the old firm game. I do some analytical work for Fulham, West Ham scout was in the stand looking at a few players from both teams as well. I believe Morelos will see the season out at Rangers then head south unless £15-18 Million is offered up front.

Not that bothered if we get Solanke or not I haven’t been that impressed by him when seeing him play and he’s hardly got a good scoring record if he does come Liverpool will expect him to play so does that mean dropping Alfredo who’s looking like he could be massive for us this season got to admit was never sure about Alfredo but on this form he looks unplayable at times would rather have Lafferty.

Said last night barisic fee was agreed and Declan John would go to Swansea on loan. Still expect windass to move on to Ipswich for around 2 million. Also looking at possible loans deals if Lafferty deal can’t be done.

Think we have lots of options in this area now, Windass needs to do more to make the Central attacking mid his own, he is wasted on either wing so for me he is competing with Arfield, Ejaria and Dorrans for that role and we could sell him with little detriment to the team, I do like him though and think he will have a good career just wish he was having more impact on the pitch.

Waghorn is not worth 8mil, that's just the english market proving its fecked up. In the real world he's not even worth a quarter of that. You can't expect windass to be worth much more when he struggles to make an impact in the majority of games. Looking ahead to next season I feel at the moment with a fully fit team we can beat any SPL team on our day and comfortably at that. the problem being far too many weeks we don't hit they levels and could cost us a lot of points next year as teams will punish us.
For the amount of the ball we have we create very minimum chance on goal, due to breaking to slow moving the ball to the side instead of forward so by the time we get to their box we have 2 walls of 5 to try break down. Next year it was to be faster and more drive from the midfield taking a man on every now and again.

On a subject relating to all the boys out on loan, I see our 20's team lost 3.0 to Hamilton. I know most of the boys are young but I suspect so are Hamiltons. I just feel that young Rangers players should be beating all these other teams and I am not meaning to be disrespectful to anyone. Three of these lads were on our bench last couple of games so they must be good. Any thoughts guys?

Rangers usually field a young under 20's team with most boys about 17.
I know its cliché but the under 20's league is not about winning games and finishing top of the league. it is about developing young players so that they are at a level where they can cope with moving into the first team. Performances are a lot more important than results.
Would also be interesting to know how many overage players Hamilton had out as the rules say you are allowed up to 5 over aged players.

Its called the development league for a reason . winning isn't important at this level its about bringing players on, developing them to be the best they can be . personally i would bring back the reserve league as it pits our young lads against senior team players who are maybe just out the 1st team picture or are coming back from injury and remember the days of 30,000 turning up to ibrox to watch rangers v celtic reserve games great education for young players.

Thanks for the feedback guys. It would be good to hear what the thoughts of Mark and Ian and the other Academy coaches are. I agree it's all about development and that includes physical, technical, tactical, psychological, how to handle Winning and losing etc. However my point that our young players are Rangers players and should be capable of winning more games than most I feel is still applicable . Just my thoughts guys.

What your thoughts on tav? Personally I think he is very good going forward but lacks defensive skills. He does make up for it with his goals but feel he could be caught out against better teams. Maybe even move him into a more further forward position next year?

Both Tav and Wallace need to improve the defensive side of their game however going forward they are arguably the best attacking fullbacks in Scotland.
Personally I would be more worried about losing Tav in the summer than anything that opposition forwards might do to him. especially since we now have MOH at Rangers!
