Reports here in Australia that Kevin Muscat has been thrown into the mix for the managers role. I support Melbourne Victory down here and he has managed to build a very solid side.

That being said, I don't know how he would transition to SPL.

Send Jamie MacLaren from Brisbane and we'll give Waghorn in return instead lol

2.) 17 Feb 2017 08:59:27
Muscat is hopeless only Kenny Lowe in Perth worse than him in league wouldn't mind Rojas fight enough good player A league poor possibly Adam Taggart at glory not bad but missed Mooy said for past 2 years to get this boy and was laughed at because of the St Mirren connection boy was class anyway follow follow from Perth

3.) 17 Feb 2017 11:48:05
I think the board know who they want, I think they had already decided MW was going. I wouldn't be surprised to see a director of football.

4.) 17 Feb 2017 12:38:09
I'm only passing on what reports are saying not sure what all the disagrees are about 😕

Any transfer rumors/ news at all?

Not hearing much on this side of the world.

1.) 19 Dec 2016 11:17:55
It's on grimsby fanzine sites that rangers are interested in Omar Bogle.

This is from a grimsby fan who told me.

2.) 19 Dec 2016 11:46:21
Well, Barry Mckay's going for 10 million and we're signing half of the EPL.

3.) 19 Dec 2016 11:47:17
Oh and we're signing James McArthur and Charlie Adam. ha ha.

4.) 19 Dec 2016 13:10:40
Watched video of Omar Bogle, big guy knows where the goal is, can score with both feet, 23 years old. Maybe worth a punt at £75,000 transfer fee. I realize he plays in lower division in England but some gems have come from there in the past.
Just a thought guys.

5.) 19 Dec 2016 13:34:51
McKay won't be going anywhere for another couple of years and if he developes into the player that his potential shows then he will be worth at least that remember he is only 19.

6.) 19 Dec 2016 14:15:44
Mckay just turned 21 ate.

7.) 19 Dec 2016 14:15:44
Mckay just turned 21 ate.

8.) 19 Dec 2016 14:27:21
Ger88, barrie mckay actually turns 22 years old at the end of this month.

9.) 19 Dec 2016 15:45:46
He's not exactly the wee boy everybody seems to think he is.

10.) 19 Dec 2016 16:00:11
Knew it was Dec supercooper couldn't remember if he was just 21 or as you rightly say coming on 22. Either way not a teen anymore.

13 Dec 2016 20:49:00
Aston Villa reportedly want to sign McKay.

1.) 14 Dec 2016 10:18:22
I can confirm that they made an enquiry to rangers about his availability although I don't know any outcome of this. No point in trying to prove my sources, take it as you will.

2.) 14 Dec 2016 11:07:26
unless they offer 10 million for him they can wait until he is fully developed and then pay in excess of that I think the boy will make us millions when he leaves.

3.) 14 Dec 2016 12:20:45
10 Million, what planet you on? I'd take 1 million. Has been one of our poorest performers this year.

4.) 14 Dec 2016 13:24:45
as he stands right now he isn't gonny go for 10 million c-bear but I think he is every bit as good if not better than mcgreedy that played for that lot and when u think of the money they are getting for their top players then I dontg think we should be letting go our best young and most promising talent for 1 million so naw you get a grip[ pal

he went through a bad patch got dropped and has came back full of confidence but 1 million are u crazy he will be worth ten times that at least in two seasons time.

start keeping up to date with performances pal.

5.) 14 Dec 2016 16:22:35
The boy will never be a £10m player. £2m to £3m of anybody's money and he'd be sold in a heartbeat.

6.) 14 Dec 2016 17:05:26
5 6 million is a fair value for mckay currently and if offerd this sort of money we should seriously consider it.

7.) 14 Dec 2016 23:21:02
Let's not get the Seville calculator out when putting a price on players. Leave that to The Dark Side. I personally don't think we would turn down a couple of million if that offer came in given the current climate. Difference is if he was being sold from one English club to another then you would be talking a lot lot more.

8.) 14 Dec 2016 23:33:12
Only a matter of time before he gets looked at from teams down south, kid has bags of potential would be a shame for him to leave and go to waste down There.

9.) 16 Dec 2016 13:18:28
C-bear85,yes barrie mckay has lost form at the start of this season mate. Doesn't make him a bad player! He's still very young, and inconsistent which happens to most, especially young players! He's got all the talent in the world if he just believes in himself much more! There's a good old saying, "FORM IS TEMPORARY, CLASS IS PERMANENT"! That certainly imho applies to barrie mckay! I totally agree with james stirling, although he's not worth 10million quid the now, we must keep hold of a talent like his, because 3 or 4 years down the road he will be sold for a big transfer fee, probably to an english premiership club! The only one that will stop mckay reaching the top in football, is barrie mckay himself (ie. confidence and consistency)! So there's NO way i'd be selling mckay at all, and most definitely not for 1million quid like you said! For god's sake, apart from kranjcar, he's by far the most technical player we've got at rangers, EASY!

10.) 16 Dec 2016 15:08:21
Here, here james stirling, right behind you with this one mate! You're spot on, young barrie mckay will go eventually, for a helluva lot more than a messily 1million quid! He's got all the talent in the world! So yes, get a grip, c-bear85!

11.) 16 Dec 2016 22:50:33
McKay is never a 10million pound player although I would say he's not fully developed as he is still young be realistic people anybody comes in with a couple of million and he will be sold.

Okay now I've really struggled to read or listen to anything Rangers related the last couple of weeks because of our performances and the excuses/ crap that MW was trying to feed all of us.

So after hearing of the news of his resignation and the way it all went down I can actually say that I am proud of our board. He wanted to leave so they let him, he wanted to crawl back we told him to sod off. It's decisions like that that build the right culture around the club and it's one small stepping stone into building or club into one that takes us to where we belong.
Patience lads, it won't happen overnight but things will come together.

Didn't think anything could get me excited for this game after last week. But seeing changes like this has! No kiernan, Halliday on the bench. Should have happened a long time ago but finally some common sense.

Aussie_bear

1.) 04 Feb 2017 14:19:33
Kiernan should never wear a Rangers jersey again

2.) 04 Feb 2017 14:22:28
What's the bet Halliday comes on the hour mark?

3.) 04 Feb 2017 14:23:11
Still with tavernier. Unbelievable.

4.) 04 Feb 2017 14:25:29
Halliday is the golden child, but if he comes on at the 60 minute mark it means we will at least have 11 decent players on the park for an hour 😂

5.) 04 Feb 2017 14:35:14
Is Windass injured or has he been sacrificed to make room on the bench for Halliday? What does Hodson need to do to get a game? Wouldn't Wilson be a better option than Senderdross? Why is Holt playing? Is it true that Rossiter is now just 7-10 days away? When will he get Burt involved? Will Dodoo ever start? Just saw the team and these wee things popped into my mind.

6.) 04 Feb 2017 15:24:13
Halliday should have been in the stand and Windass should at the very least have been on the bench. Halliday brings nothing to the team whereas Windass can make a difference.

01 Feb 2017 20:10:19
I think our side would look a lot better playing a man down instead of having kiernan on the pitch. I can't believe the level of rubbish he is

Aussie_bear

1.) 01 Feb 2017 20:25:41
Rob Kiernon is probably the worst defender in rangers history. Like warburton he is out his depth at this level yet he continues to play him every game for the past year . The fact that a 38 year journeyman is rangers best defender sums it up for me. The defence has been shocking since he came yet he has done nothin to address it. I could be here all night with reasons but Warburton is not the man to take the club forward.

2.) 01 Feb 2017 20:33:08
Kiernan and Halliday are a mistake and goal waiting to happen. Neither has a clue and Halliday couldn't pass water.

3.) 01 Feb 2017 20:35:11
Warbs deserves the sack for playing kiernan and halliday. How many more times. This can't go on!

4.) 01 Feb 2017 20:42:33
Have to say that the Texas Ranger is one of the best players to pull on the famous blue shirt in a pretty long time, if there's anyway in the world we could do a deal to keep this lad, then no stone should be left unturned, the boy has ability and skills in abundance.

5.) 01 Feb 2017 20:44:38
According to some people, the manager can do no wrong and they like Warburton seem to miss the amount of goals conceded that are down to Kiernan. I don't think I can recall a centre half to cause so many goals and not get dropped. Kiernan makes Ambrose look like a world class centre half.

6.) 01 Feb 2017 20:52:34
This could also work for Halliday, two goals and they've cost us one each. Geez they make it so hard to watch.

7.) 01 Feb 2017 20:52:43
How long can this go on for. Halliday shocking

8.) 01 Feb 2017 21:03:41
Worst rangers performance I've ever seen, Warbs needs the sack playing 2 much like Liverpool but we don't have the money they have.

9.) 01 Feb 2017 21:05:02
Another baffling decision by warburton, taking hyndman off surely it had to be toral

10.) 01 Feb 2017 21:15:16
An absolute shambles defensively again, how Kiernan and Halliday get away with this week in week out is beyond me

11.) 01 Feb 2017 21:16:56
Ive been supportive of warburton for a long time. But his persistence to play Halliday and Kiernan time and time again after they constantly negatively influence results is just disrespectful to the supporters. And to take off Waghorn and Hyndman, two of our more positive players up front when we need goals is just a nail in the coffin for me.
He's done well to get us back up, but he's not the man to take us to the top in any way shape or form. Warburton out

12.) 01 Feb 2017 21:37:51
Disgusting gutless performance
Can't defend - utter nonsense

13.) 01 Feb 2017 21:48:28
If anyone needed a reason why kiernan shouldn't be in the team then that's it. warns must b the only guy in the world that believes there's a player in that boy

14.) 01 Feb 2017 21:56:07
i don't blame kiernan its not his fault he's crap i blame warburton all the way for constantly picking him well out his depth but will be defended by clueless mob on here

15.) 01 Feb 2017 22:04:18
taxi for warburton enough is enough

16.) 01 Feb 2017 21:21:52
Its a bad day when i'm glad selik have scored

17.) 01 Feb 2017 21:46:12
Totally agree Aussie i have been 100% behind warbs and had faith that he will turn things around but he is just keeping things the same which i think is unbelivable. I now feel like i am having the piss taken out of me.

I don't see how a potential try for berahino deal is all that hard to believe, 500k compensation fee plus I'd assume around 30k a week wages (Barton's wage would take up majority of that with other players leaving MOH Gilks etc) .

Would actually be a quality signing I think he would score for fun and if he finds form we could make a small fortune off of him.

Aussie_bear

1.) 08 Jan 2017 19:41:00
Berahino is so far out of the budget range that it is comical.

Anyway, his attitude is questionable at best.

I saw him in pre season game against Plymouth Argyle and he was was dreadful.

If we were able and at the moment its a big if, to spend that sort of money, we could do better with the money than him.

Speaking of Plymouth, we could do worse than make an attempt to sign Craig Tanner who is on loan there until the end of the month. He is a Reading player (not sure of his length of contract) . He made a difference when he came on at Anfield this afternoon and has has a good season so far. He would definitely be an asset at Ibrox, in my opinion better than MOH.

2.) 09 Jan 2017 02:04:27
Berahino is only on around 20 grand per week at his current club. He has had major fall out with club owners because of them scuppering his big move to spurs. That's why he's knocked back a new contract with them. I hope he does come to rangers on a pre contract deal and says a big egg you to those owners as they would get roughly 19.5m less for him than what spurs offered back then as we would only have to pay development fee.
I doubt it would happen but, to suggest we couldn't afford him is a load of bull, Barton was on 20k a week or so I'm lead to believe.
So why not? There is a real possibility that he could end up playing in Europe next season with rangers, that would allow him to showcase his talent at European level.

3.) 09 Jan 2017 10:07:45
makes perfect sense aswell mate 30 bgrand a week and then after one season we could be selling him at his value rate of 22 million well that is good business and a no brainer for the money men.
saying that it sounds too good to be true so it normally is too good to be true. fingers crossed though

28 Dec 2016 21:41:17
Our midfield is disgusting. If didn't know any better I wouldn't have known Halliday was playing. I only saw him when he tried to have a scuffle.
I know we probably would have been looking at playing Barton, kranjcar and rossiter as our trio in the middle, but to dish up what we have in the last couple of games through the middle, especially at such a crucial time in the year is just embarrassing.

Here's hoping they decide against renewing his contract then, wilshere is on loan if my memory serves me correctly, plus players such as Zelalem so they aren't exactly short of players in the middle of the park.
