Were Celtic not interested in him a few weeks ago?

2.) 11 Jul 2017 22:01:29
There's only one Celtic are interested in and that's the famous Glasgow rangers😂

3.) 12 Jul 2017 06:39:01
We have all got our opinions on who and what positions should be brought in BUT I'm wondering just how much Pedro has left to SPEND!
This is why I'm thinking that it'll be 2-3 qualit loans that arrive. And to tell the truth I think we would be better off getting loans in than bringing in Players who's talent/ ability values them at a Fee in the region on 500k or less who knows? The amount we have already shelled out is prob more than most would have thought we would have spent! I'd love Weiss AND Walker but it may not be financially possible?

4.) 12 Jul 2017 07:18:20
I must admit I never thought we would spend anywhere near as much especially the £2.8 million on penna alone so I was wrong about king and the board actually backing Pedro with the funds, I know it's not got off to a great start in Europe but hopefully we can fully concentrate on the domestic stuff now and start closing the gap on Celtic and give them a good challenge this year, because let's face it we deserve that after everything we have been through in the last 5 years or so

5.) 12 Jul 2017 08:19:41
Personally if we r going to play a 4231 and we can make 1 more signing I would go for Naismith with a midfield of Jack and Pena with attacking midfielders in Dorrans, Naismith and Niko we would definitely have a midfield that could shake that lot up

6.) 12 Jul 2017 09:38:41
Niko was good player but past ok playing at walking pace now but not up pace of prem . Dave king has done great putting up money but don't think any more will be given to Pedro as he won't be here in 3 months.

7.) 12 Jul 2017 12:16:02
Totally agree Niko is a class act but lacks pace.
Need someone with a bit pace and energy in midfield alongside Jack Dorrans and Pena -who we still have to see in a Rangers shirt.

8.) 12 Jul 2017 12:37:27
A Barry ferguson type player who can boss the midfield and lead by example. Also two full backs a must but won't hold my breath

9.) 12 Jul 2017 15:49:51
I like the look of Rossiter, industrious, physical and composed on the ball. He'll be a 7/ 10 week in, week out by the looks of it which is exactly what we need in that position. Jack is very similar. Perhaps Pedro will go with these 2 sitting with Dorrans and Candeis either side of Pena in a 4231 formation with Miller/ Herrera rotating as the lone striker.

10.) 12 Jul 2017 23:05:02
I know timmys would have played hard ball but I think Gary McKay Steven would have done a turn for us particularly when all you hear on here is Weiss this Weiss that even tho he's average at best

Just thinking out loud with the Murray talk would it be crazy to think it could of been Murray's plan all along to sell the club and hope the bad guy comes in and gets club put into administration and then he comes back into a club with no debt to take back over. Although I doubt he would of expected all the other rubbish from whyte and green to happen. Just a crazy thought.

Ayrrfc

1.) 08 May 2017 14:45:55
No debt. rangers owe £12.4 million in loans.

2.) 08 May 2017 14:47:32
That is just a little bit too simple. I reckon it goes more like this, Murray wanted to get away from Rangers as he knew it was all going to go down rubbish creek. Green and Whyte were just pawns used by Mike Ashley for himself to gain out of Rangers.

3.) 08 May 2017 19:21:38
Onlyshowaround

I think your over complicating this by thinking it was a conspiracy master minded by Mike blofeld Ashley

It's not just his signings that have been poor. Team selection. The fact he doesn't change formation to suit the players we have. We don't have a recognised DM until rossiter is fit so why play with one go with a standard 4-4-2. For me warbs has been found out. When we won the championship we didn't win another game after it was confirmed. We struggled with so many teams knowing how we play and they could nullify it. Any manager worth their salt would change it. Conte did it at Chelsea and look at them now.

Although I think Michael O'Neil would be a decent appointment. I think de Boer would be a cracking appointment. He's young and creative and did great with Ajax who he brought through a lot of youngsters. Isn't that what we want from a manager. Bring through the youngsters that we can sell on for a big profit.

Another good appointment I think would be Tommy Wright just for the fact his team are usually hard to beat.
