Can you believe Paul Gascoigne isn't in the spurs hall of fame but Stefan Freund is, wtf!

I had a tour of their stadium and apparently it's due to some of his antics while he was there. I'm glad our club has Gazza in our hall of fame judging him as a football player.

I see Davie Weir last man in our hall of fame? Any future nominations you would like to see or someone that's been missed?

For me what about Alan McGregor?

Lee Wallace should be in our hall of fame. Stayed with us through it all. Had options to make more money and gain more international caps. Lee McCulloch too.

Another good win today.

What do you think we need in the January transfer window?

I'd like one more striker and see if we can tie up Coulibaly, Kent and Ejaria on perm deals if possible

Thoughts?

I think we need a proper number 10. A good technical player who can unlock a defence with a clever pass. I like arfield but don't think it's his strength and ejaria like a to play a bit deeper. There's no chance of getting ejaria permanently, don't think he's quite going to be Liverpool quality but they won't let him go now.

2.) 07 Oct 2018 18:02:09
Hard to tell at this point maybe an attacking midfielder who can strike the ball from outside the box.

3.) 07 Oct 2018 18:07:33
Defo need a striker BRW, defence looks ok numbers wise although we are conceding too much for my liking, GK what can I say, tremendous! I do think we are missing that 1 player that all teams crave that has the vision and quality to find a pass in the final 3rd, these guys are like hens teeth though and cost big money so hopefully we are working on the recruitment of this type of player at the moment.

Is there a limit to the amount of loans we can take or play as we might be able to get a couple of decent guys that are not getting a look in in the premiership come January?

4.) 07 Oct 2018 18:15:50
Would send sadiq back to Roma and get solanke on loan. If Morelos gets injured would could be in trouble so firepower is required I think. Another creative midfielder would go a wrong either I like arfield but we need somebody else who can split defences open and also pitch in with goals.

5.) 07 Oct 2018 18:23:26
Thought mcgregor was at fault for goal yday tbf, ball hung in sir for a long time and ended up edge of 6 yard box, keepers territory. Can give him one though as he's been top notch since returning.

6.) 07 Oct 2018 20:13:29
Wee bear seriously conceding too much? at home were now aggregate 30 for 5 against where's your logic to that bud?

7.) 07 Oct 2018 23:07:56
I think we are conceding too many as well, it's not just home games that count we have played about 20 games and conceded 15 or something so we are conceding too many albeit mostly away from home but I expect away results to start getting better and as long as we are finding the net as often as we are it shouldn't be a problem.

8.) 08 Oct 2018 07:22:56
My logic is that we are where we are in the table due to conceding goals my friend, we have conceded more than all the teams above us in the table and if we continue to concede sloppy goals then we will continue to drop points in games we have to be winning.

Teams progressing to group stage from UEFA Europa League first qualifying round
Fulham (2011/ 12), Rosenborg (2012/ 13, 2015/ 16), Twente (2012/ 13), Tromsø (2013/ 14), Gabala (2015/ 16, 2016/ 17), Crvena zvezda (2017/ 18), Maccabi Tel-Aviv (2016/ 17, 2017/ 18), Skënderbeu (2017/ 18), Apollon Limassol (2018/ 19), København (2018/ 19), Rangers (2018/ 19), Sarpsborg (2018/ 19)

From this list only Crvena zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) made it out of group stages but didn't get past round of 32.

Getting ahead of myself as we still have a lot of work to do to get out of group but just shows how much SG and players have achieved already. What an achievement it would be to get us out of the group stages!

Another little fact 23 matches for us if a miracle happened and we made it all the way. You only needed 9 back in old European cup format. Begs the question would a Scottish team winning Europa league now better anything achieved previously in Europe?

T increase in games came about from a suggestion by Rangers Secretary Campbell Ogilvie; me games =more money even if you didn't win a single game.
You are right fewer games makes it easier same as Celtic's 9 in a row they only had to play the team (s) likeliest to beat them twice had to take on teams four times.

With Lafferty cup tied and Morelos suspended who do we think will play as striker in semi final?

I have a feeling we could play Grezda through the middle granted we haven't seen much on him but l think he is probably the best fit.

SG already said Sadiq needs to improve a lot to be given first team game.

Anyone in the development team who could step up?

BRW11

1.) 27 Sep 2018 05:01:03
I absolutely love the wee man, but if he's missing the semi through suspension then he really needs to learn how to approach refs.

He was shouting, flapping his hands all over the place, asking to be booked. He was rightfully annoyed about the tackle, but if he has a calmer/ respectful approach then he'd probably not get decent bookings so often.

BRW 11

Middleton might be an option.

3.) 27 Sep 2018 08:14:45
Not only did he say he needs to improve, but needs to improve a lot.

4.) 27 Sep 2018 08:18:39
Big Bambi will probably be heading back to Roma at Xmas😭🇬🇧.

5.) 27 Sep 2018 09:02:06
Arfield would be my option. Could easily lead the line in an emergency.

6.) 27 Sep 2018 09:09:15
Andy Dallas is the obvious choice from the youths, this is exactly the opportunity these boys need to take!

7.) 27 Sep 2018 10:33:26
I would go with a front 3 of kent middleton and grezda and just let them interchange constantly. That big pitch at hampden should give these lads plenty of room to tear the sheep up👍.

Massive over reaction on here to today's defeat.

We have improved so much and I think the Russia trip affected the team energy levels badly today.

Sure I was hoping for a lot more today but I'm still optimistic about the players we have brought in.

Remember 14 new players against a very settled Celtic team. I think come next Old firm game will tell us a lot more about this team.

1.) 02 Sep 2018 14:39:15
Spot on mate early days plus an energy sapping journey to and from Russia probably no more than 48 hrs ago.

2.) 02 Sep 2018 14:39:23
Not overreaction we all saw it I'm not having this tired excuse they weren't that tired that the couldn't win a 50/ 50 or pass to a team mate a reality check for us all Inc SG.

F-U I’m with you.

2 games in and people saying he has made mistakes think people need a realty check SG has laid the foundations for a solid defence which was 100% the right place to start and he has had bad luck with injuries already.

Yes I will confess like most other fans I’m disappointed to see Greg Docherty go out on loan I was hoping he would turn him into a mainstay of the midfield but I have faith that he believes a loan move will do Doc good.

A few people on here have mentioned a 5-3-2 formation with Tav and Dec Jon as full backs but playing that system were would Murphy or Candeas play? SG will play 3 energetic midfielders for me and in a 5-3-2 that would mean one up top and a number 10 or two strikers which I think is unlikely.

My guess is a 4-3-3 with Tav and Dec Jon as full backs to begin with but in difficult away games Jon F coming into one of the full back positions to make us stronger at the back. In this formation Murphy and Candeas can play and we have been linked with a few wingers too so on that basis I’m less sure about a 5-3-2 or 3-5-2 as I don’t think it accommodates our wingers.

Come on supercooper you can’t be serious with that poll. George Best all the way. Frequently discussed in best ever world 11s the other 3 never get a look in. I’ve heard Dave Mackay’s name mentioned more in world 11 teams than the other 3.

Given there is a lot of talk at the minute around mental health illness and companies promoting speaking up about it and it not being something to be ashamed of it’s another example of how outdated and backward the SFA are.

It’s poor the SFA have made this decision. Yes Gazza was far from a perfect human and I’m not condoning for a minute that he hit his wife but as you say supercoop he has a mental illness and he and that shouldn’t stop us recognising his contribution to Scottish football.

Ryan Kent contract runs out next summer so could we sign him January on perm deal?

Coulibaly would be doable on perm deal.

I think Ejaria and Worrell will be too expensive.
