If Murty doesn't fancy MOH and Murphy misses the OF, could we see Middleton in action? The talent of the unknown might be the trick to beating them in a weeks time.

Forgot about him TBH, he could be the answer if Murphy doesn’t make it!

2.) 01 Mar 2018 15:51:21
I also forgot about Middleton. Anybody know how he has looked laying for the development team since he signed?

3.) 01 Mar 2018 18:28:08
Heard nothing about him until the reports from the Scotland U19 game earlier today. Might be a shout for last 30mins V Falkirk? Murty seems to leave the subs late though and they don’t get a decent run out

Next to no chance of retaining Goss, I think realistically we could go for Davis or Arfield on a free and let Docherty feed off their experience. Am I the only bear worrying how Dorrans and Jack are going to slot on when fit? Wallace is in the same boat. I'm glad Murty is picking players on form, I just think we are top heavy on mid fielders and little room for the youngsters breaking through. same old story.

BaldyBlueHeed

1.) 28 Feb 2018 16:54:08
I think ryan jack will go in alongside greg docherty if sean goss goes back to QPR (really hope not)! Ross mccrorie will more than likely go back to his natural centre half position and although if he can't immediately get back in the starting eleven, he can without doubt, cover both the centre half and holding midfielder positions!

2.) 28 Feb 2018 17:16:13
What about Charlie Adam if Goss goes? . Play him in the centre to kick Browns bawz

3.) 28 Feb 2018 18:00:43
Goss only has 2 year left on his contract and next to no premier league / championship / Europen experience, I’m sure he’ll go for under £2m which would be a bargain. I think QPR already know their in a negotiation hence their press statements regarding the transfer. I can see one of two things happen, 1. We get him for c. £2m or he extends his contract and we get him on loan next season.

4.) 28 Feb 2018 18:49:09
Feel we've a gem if our own in jamie barjonas, rate this guy highly! As previously posted I'd love Goss permanently but we have a plethora of midfielders are good ones at that things are looking good

5.) 28 Feb 2018 19:22:45
spot on supercoop

i wonder how dorrans will slot back in and more importantly what happens if morelos is sold in summer will cummings sign perm?

6.) 28 Feb 2018 19:23:33
McRorie is no good at centre half but can do well in front of the defence

7.) 28 Feb 2018 19:24:59
Can’t believe you’ve mentioned Adam and Goss even in the same sentence 🤦‍♂️😂😂

8.) 28 Feb 2018 19:35:35
Dorrans to come back as well lads. Remember before he was hacked down he was assisting and scoring goals in a disfuctionak Pedro team!

I think Dorrans will be brilliant under Murty.

9.) 28 Feb 2018 20:51:12
DEEB, ross mccrorie is a centre half first and foremost mate! that's his natural position and he's a good young centre half, with a turn of pace into the bargain! I prefer him there, although he can play in front of the defence in the diamond!

10.) 28 Feb 2018 21:09:00
I’ve always seen Dorrans as an attacking mid, he is a 15-20 goals a season player when fully fit, I’d alternate him and Windass and get back up for Murphy and candeias in the summer

11.) 28 Feb 2018 21:28:34
Agree BearMide91, think getting Dorrans back in the first team squad will make it significantly stronger. See he is back in training and hopefully we will see him return soon.

12.) 28 Feb 2018 22:00:36
Goss won't extend his contract with qpr, why would he? They left him to pretty much rot. We came in and gave him the chance and the belief to prove himself at a massive club. He is now struting his stuff infront of 50k, and looks as though he is loving it. European football next season, he has the bite and I have no doubt that if we were to agree a fee with qpr that he would sign for us in a heartbeat. With every penny of profit from the retail deal coming our way from the end of the season then there will be a little bit of extra cash coming into the club. A permanent deal is very much possible.

13.) 28 Feb 2018 23:34:23
Hope you are right Coldo. I'd love to see him stay for the long haul

14.) 01 Mar 2018 10:16:54
Declan john was a loan and he got the bite, could have made a fortune in the championship but where else would you want to go after playing at ibrox. John said himself that he did not hesitate to sign a permanent deal. Goss would sign in a heartbeat.

15.) 01 Mar 2018 10:25:06
supercooper

I like McCrorie but he is often out of position when played at CH and struggles to run with the forward.
He is a completely different player in front of the defence; I guess Murty things the same

16.) 01 Mar 2018 12:34:52
McCrorie was forced into dm position because of injuries to dorrans and jack being suspended then injured. He is a good centre half who will only get better. I'd have him over Martin or Bates anyday

17.) 01 Mar 2018 12:34:59
What was ross mccrorie's original position DEEB? He's a very good young centre half with pace which is a superb asset for a centre half!

18.) 01 Mar 2018 12:45:34
Agree 100% supercoopereleven

Think MOH should be a start now against Falkirk, we need to give him March time in the off chance he needs to replace Murphy for the OF. Murty needs to consider giving the likes of Miller, Alves, Cummings, Alnwick, Herrera a chance. We can't afford any more injuries going into the title decider! :)

BaldyBlueHeed

1.) 28 Feb 2018 15:06:48
Can't risk going out of the cup either. Our best chance of silverware. We are still in with an outside chance for the league but can't be changing the entire team. Alnwick will start as he has with all cup games he has been fit for. May see morelos and Cummings up top but I don't see too many changes other than that

2.) 28 Feb 2018 15:49:33
Fair one mate, I just had my Football Manager hat on and you can’t really take 6/ 7 first teamers out in real life and expect the others to slot in!

3.) 28 Feb 2018 16:24:41
I expect he will change things around a little but there is a full week between falkirk and old firm so won't be drastic changes

4.) 28 Feb 2018 16:40:39
We should play same team as last night with exception of Murphy who should be rested to give him chance of making the Celtic game. Would play Dodoo against Falkirk as replacement for Murphy.

5.) 28 Feb 2018 17:05:37
I’d bring in 2 and go with a diamond, Cummings in for Murphy, holt for candeias. Same as last night for the old firm unless Wallace can replace Halliday

6.) 28 Feb 2018 18:33:32
Herrera? You're not serious?

7.) 28 Feb 2018 18:58:15
I'd keep the pretty much the same team boys are on a high and growing game on game! I'd give Kenny 2nd half if possible might need to turn to him on old firm day!

So Mark Allen had an informal chat with Graham Potter in Manchester just before Christmas exploring the possibility of becoming the new Ranger manager. Both men felt the meeting went well but neither party wishing to take it any further. It appears Potter is putting himself in the shop window by meeting a number of English clubs while his stock is high following the Europa League run. Anyway, it's Murtys job to lose now.

We will never know how good Murty can actually be unless we give him the chance. He has us playing football which is breath taking at times. He is only going to get better.

2.) 28 Feb 2018 10:24:54
These kind of chats happen daily. If Murty continues as he is then he will be offered a rolling contract.

Another Tim going fishing in a frozen lake. Try again next time Timmy, or even better go onto your own site and make a rumour about Lustig doing a snow dance so he doesn’t get his arse handed to him at Ibrox.

Can’t imagine the SFA being that proactive. But it would be funny to watch the timplosion if Saturdays games are called off and ours goes ahead on the Sunday! More excuses of lack of game time before the Old Firm! Ahhhh the cracks are appearing, not just on Brenda’s fake bake tan!
