Any Cyprus based bears know where I can watch Rangers v Hibs on Sat? Ideally somewhere in/near Polis or Latchi but could drive into Paphos if required.

its on bbcalba mate, so if anywhere or anybody over there has virgin or sky, they should be able to get it on. 12:30pm kick off it is!

2.) 20 Jul 2015 16:25:00
If you have wifi available you can stream bbc alba live on the iplayer app

{Ed039's Note - You can only stream bbc iplayer with a UK IP address, wouldnt work in Cyprus)

3.) 20 Jul 2015 18:58:22
Cheers ed didn't know that, sorry bay couldn't help you out mate hope you catch the game

4.) 20 Jul 2015 20:27:00
You need to use a VpN to spoof a UK IP address then you can

5.) 20 Jul 2015 20:32:35
You need to instal a VPN service on your device which will allow you to spoof the system into thinking you're actually in the UK

6.) 20 Jul 2015 23:22:55
Cheers troops,
Think I may have found a wee place in Polis that can get a live stream. Going to try that Vipbox thing forfor the Burnley game on Tuesday too.

Before I start I'm just asking a question, not giving an opinion on right or wrong.
On the back of J.R Tennant's post about Ashley owning the club badge etc I am interested to get folks thoughts on creating a new club/corporate identity, thus rendering the current one useless to Ashley.
I know this idea is likely to stick in the throat of most (and rightly so) but swallowing it down and moving forward may be the best option.
Let's face it, the fans are the fans and Rangers are Rangers to those that love them. There have been a few badge/crest changes over the years so why not now?
Basically what would folk prefer?
Accepting Ashley's dominance and being treated liked good little gimps or showing that Rangers fans can be adaptable, proud and strong by giving him the old two finger salute and moving forward. It could be the making of Rangers as a modern club.
For what it's worth, if I don't agree with something I refuse to simply moan and go along with it anyway. Remember, Ashley needs the fans to be good little gimps for this ownership to be worth anything. Without the fans he has ownership of nothing.

if this is the case with Ashley and we can not get out of these contracts I would rather the club made a new cooperate identity than give Ashley another penny in the mean time we the fans should seek someone one to make us tops strips ect so that the fans can buy instead of filling Ashley pockets for the new season once tops payed for donate all the other money to our club so they can use it to invest in the club that way Ashley will have to come to the table and negotiate or his trademarks retail deal will be worthless this is one way to sort him and I think this it what it will take

2.) 10 Apr 2015 09:02:34
Agreed Bay. See my post below. A new identity need only have subtle changes and then registered as a trademark.

3.) 10 Apr 2015 09:53:30
i am quite certain ashley has thought of that and covered all the angles he will have something in place to stop anything new

4.) 10 Apr 2015 11:23:16
The changes would have to be significant not subtle. Also Sports Direct own the names Rangers and Glasgow Rangers. Ashley has covered most angles.

5.) 10 Apr 2015 13:01:09
i say if big changes need to happen to get best for the club and the fans then so be it we are being ripped apart by money grabber he is destroying our club as we no it enough is enough

After a £370 win yesterday from a fiver I thought I'd share today's mad wee flutter.

A bit convoluted so bear with me.
OK, 6 games but put it on as a 5 fold.
N.Ireland and Romania to win
Republic Ireland v Poland both teams to score
Georgia v Germany over 2.5 goals
And Scotland to win 4-0 and 5-0

Only need 5 out of the 6 ( hence the 2 Scotland scores). £10 (2x£5) will return around £500.

Well, that's that coupon fecked then 😄
Gibraltar's first ever international goal comes against Scotland. Couldnae make it up😂

2.) 29 Mar 2015 18:36:18
Possibly the most overused phrase on football forums. 'You could not make it up'. Does my nut in. You don't have to make it up, they scored. I must say, Celtic fans severely overuse it.

3.) 29 Mar 2015 20:20:49
😱 A grumpy yet pointless reply. you couldnae make it up 😘
Cheer up ya grump, thought it was me that had the burst coupon. 😛

4.) 30 Mar 2015 16:51:07
Unlucky Bay
But even if you got your 4 or 5 the mighty Gibralter would have what you might call a Coupon Buster by scoring there first ever international goal against Scotland, ( you couldn't make it up unless it was Scotland)

5.) 30 Mar 2015 17:43:11
Cheers Bongo, cannae really complain after the previous days win the though 👍
Was a bit of a long shot.
Had another that was only scuppered by Hungary drawing with Greece. Had the draw but had it as a score draw not
0-0. That would've been £638 too 😱

I may be jumping the gun here but can I be the first to accept whatever Martybhoy dishes out this evening (or at 7:50am).
Yet another truly dismal performance. Wee McCall will need to grow a set and drop the lot of them before he finds himself earning a crust in the beachgrove garden too!
Rangers have sunk as low as the belly of a python in a limbo competition.

Bay I think another season in current league under mccall would be the best thing that could happen to us, or should I just have said it will be that way anyhow.lol

I'm sure bowmac is simply fishing for a rise. A statement clearly designed to get a reaction. Pay him no heed is my suggestion.

Got to disagree with you there Teeboy. As far as I'm aware NED stands for Non Educated Delinquent and has absolutely nothing to do with being an aggressive footballer. It's more to do with a person's social character, moral standing and general attitude towards people and their responsibilities to others in their community. With all that in mind it might be worth rethinking some of those you branded a Ned in your post. Ibrahimovic a Ned?! Nah, I don't think so. Griffiths though?! Well you'd have to ask his children, the mother's of his children and the members of the public that have encountered him on a night out.

I'm sure there are plenty more who feel like you do but I'm not one.
I am Scottish, proud to be Scottish and I will always support my national team. To be honest I find this whole SFA conspiracy against Rangers idea to be worryingly paranoid and a bit pathetic if I'm honest.
As for the Celtic players in the team it only bothers me if they're not up to the job and frequently I find myself irritated by Brown as I was tonight. As for Forest I honestly don't see what the fuss is about. I don't rate him at all. I rarely see him take on a man and when he does there's rarely an end product of a decent ball. Thought Mulgrew was decent tonight and would sooner have him captain over Brown. As for Griffiths, the more I hear about him the more I dislike the sound of him as a person. But as a player I would have had him on the park before Fletcher.
All that said, you can't force yourself to support something you're not comfortable with so if that's how you feel that's how you feel. Nothing to do with anyone else I suppose. Me, when the ball hits the back of the net for Scotland I can't control my shouts of "Yes! Get intae them Scotland" regardless of who's playing in the team. If truth be told my dislike for Ian Black was far greater than any of the Celtic players I've mentioned, with the possible exception of Griffiths.

For as long as I can remember I always said I was going to see The Rangers or The Mighty Glasgow Rangers. It wasn't a problem then, why should it be now?
Rangers Fan at it, Celtic Fan at it, or genuine post does it really matter? The sentiment is what counts and I doubt anyone on here will be uninterested when Rangers play Celtic again. Nothing wrong with some good old fashioned rivalry but hatred and paranoia don't do anyone any good.
