It's easy to put all the blame at Murtys door, but let's also take a look at jimmy Nichols input or lack thereof, he was supposed to be there to help and advise the inexperienced manager, well if so then he should be off as well, Cowdenbeath to Glasgow rangers? He is equally accountable for that shambles today.

Billy blue

1.) 15 Apr 2018 21:41:00
Rubbish how can you say this is Nivols fault, Murty chose the team he chose the tactics, with one of the worst defences on the league we chose to try and hold Celtic shambles

2.) 15 Apr 2018 21:43:21
Just what does Nichol bring to the team? He is obviously getting a salary

3.) 15 Apr 2018 21:54:17
Falkirk to Rangers.

4.) 15 Apr 2018 23:23:31
falkirk to rangers that makes it okay, he has no input to the team then

5.) 16 Apr 2018 10:51:52
Jimmy Nichol is an experienced No 2 who is held in the highest of regard. Murty said at the very start he is his own man. He picks and chooses the formation (which he changed yesterday for our biggest game) and it went wrong. There is no blame to be laid at the feet of Jimmy Nichol, he is there toto assist Murty whether Murty listens to him or not is another thing.

I posted on the 18 th of June and warned you about Pedro! Sorry to say after tonight's embarrassment I've been proved correct, he hasn't a clue, out of his depth, and a disgrace to the club, time to go Pedro! Get Barry in before it's too late.

Billy blue

1.) 04 Jul 2017 22:32:52
Barry Ferguson? The guy that got sacked from Clyde.

2.) 04 Jul 2017 22:38:56
What barry that nearly clyde fc relegated get a grip

3.) 04 Jul 2017 22:39:36
It will get better

4.) 04 Jul 2017 22:53:41
It can't get any worse surely
Embarrassing is an understatement

5.) 04 Jul 2017 23:02:27
Barry?! Are you serious? You're one of these folk that just slates folk so that if it goes tits up you can say I told you so. We've got enough enemies with all the other rats in Scotland. Get behind the team man!

6.) 04 Jul 2017 22:35:22
@billyblue - away and behave! Barry Ferguson? Are you having a laugh? Didn't exactly pull up trees at Clyde and I don't see any teams battering down his door with offers so how the feck is he good enough for Rangers?

7.) 04 Jul 2017 22:56:54
Barry Ferguson LOL

8.) 04 Jul 2017 23:53:20
Congratulations Billy, you were right!

Actually, no you weren't - we're heading in the right direction under King and Pedro. with a positive and open mind

9.) 05 Jul 2017 00:06:20
We still need players. Yet again we are let down by Wallace, Windass and sadly Tavernier.

We need two quality fullbacks, we need Alves in with the captain's armband and we need to decide who our top players are and start them. They will only become match fit and get used to playing together when they all have game time!

10.) 05 Jul 2017 00:13:51
Barry Ferguson lol wow to many brain dead rangers fans honestly

11.) 05 Jul 2017 00:15:14
ferguson u are having a laugh, that guy got previous managers sacked because he spat the dummy out, I would have naismith back before him, and too say sack Pedro is a total disgrace the team he spent 10 million pound on as the shower we had are hopeless

12.) 05 Jul 2017 00:24:52
Get two proper full backs and a proper captain. We are suffering from a lack of leadership just like last season!

13.) 05 Jul 2017 13:02:45
Super ally was running away with the league before the 💩 hit the fan and we ended up with no players, get super back in and he will sort us out, cause if we stick with Pedro, it's going to be 40 points behind this year, the guys a donkey.

14.) 05 Jul 2017 15:09:52
Whether we like it or not Pedro will remain as manager unless we get off to a honking start to the season (which I unfortunately think will be the case), kings not going to give him £10m to spend and get rid of him so soon unfortunately! Really can't believe the comments on here, people talking about bringing in mccoist or Barry ferguson, I mean get a grip!

15.) 06 Jul 2017 13:25:16
BR65

How is the worst defeat for any Scottish side in Europe heading in the right direction you clown?

16.) 06 Jul 2017 14:14:06
Aye leadership from the very top and the one down from him

17.) 06 Jul 2017 14:17:02
Tom USA

We are lacking more than leadership and we talk about getting proper full backs.
Tav I would agree but Wallace will miss Mackay this season but we will wait and see.
It's hard to remain positive after such a shocking result.

18.) 06 Jul 2017 13:31:48
Ally back that has to be a worse appointment than Pedro

19.) 07 Jul 2017 00:54:41
Copland, MacKay gave Wallace no cover whatsoever and was part of the problem and the number of times Wallace ended up in no man's land because he went on a run and got caught out because he had no midfield cover was frightening. We should have been sorting out our defence and bringing in someone better than what we had for the wing positions.

Just shows the total lack of respect towards murty when kenny millers wife can give him tactical advice! What does that say about miller himself? He should tell her to keep out of mattters that don't concern her, and if she has so much free time perhaps she can go and look for her lost earrings!

Billy blue

1.) 16 Apr 2018 11:44:45
Just seen that. Who's getting these players told? A real manager would be dragging them in for a slaughtering this morning.

2.) 16 Apr 2018 12:29:38
If you do the maths with that team 12 of that squad have got to go. Good luck to mark Allen with that we will struggle to get anyone of them taken on loan never mind bought.

25 Feb 2018 19:20:30
Looks like the title is over now! The dhims actually won at a canter, thank goodness we didn't get that bottler mcinnes.

Billy blue

1.) 25 Feb 2018 20:05:44
It's not over until the fat lady sings mate. Anything can happen. All we can do is win our games and wait and see.

2.) 25 Feb 2018 22:57:01
Here we go again Billy Blue. McInnes bottled it. What position was Derek McInnes playing today? He didn't bottle it. If anything it would be his players who bottled it . I don't believe they bottled it either. Celtic are just a better team. simple. gonnae Gez peace with the bottled it p. h! Are West Ham bottlers for continually getting pumped at Anfield or r Liverpool just better? Derek McInnes turned us down. get over it. Either because he didn't want a DOF or he didn't like our financial situation. u lot carry on with the bottled version tho ehh. sounds better when your talkin to your Celtic pals at work!

3.) 26 Feb 2018 00:49:01
Won at a canter? Are you serious? Second half was Aberdeen’s game for the taking but they didn’t convert. They bottled as per.

I hope Lustig is not suspended for the Old Firm game because I fancy our chances with Murphy running at him.

Nothing about Celtic today got me particularly worried and tbh it’s been a long time coming since I’ve felt that leading up to an Old Firm game. Tierney and Forrest are the obvious threats, but we’ve got our own also.

Looking forward to the coming games.

4.) 26 Feb 2018 08:00:04
Dutch

Have West Ham lost their last 10 games against Liverpool? McInnes has a shocking record against Rodgers probably the worst in the league, he has also lost 3 against Murty. Even going back a few seasons when Delia was in charge Aberdeen kept losing big games when it looked like they might have challenged a truly awful Celtic team. His team under him does seem to have a major issue with big games. When was the last time Aberdeen lost 10 games in a row to Celtic?

5.) 26 Feb 2018 13:03:39
I thought Aberdeen played well from highlights just couldn't finish any chance they had. Murphy and windass will tear celtic defense apart if they play like that at Ibrox. I do expect celtic to move up the gears in games now they are out of Europe. Should be a very close game.

6.) 26 Feb 2018 18:08:10
Don't let any of the Tims kid you - they are still unsure of their team. Looking back the sheep was probably the best opponent for them to get a result from. McInnes is fast gaining a reputation for assuming the position for his pal, Brenda. This dhim team is pretty hopeless tbh. I lost count of the number of times they gave possession away, especially peanut head. The problem being the sheep are too useless to capitalise on their mistakes. Also Simunovoc, Ajer and Lustig are real scares

02 Jan 2018 21:54:36
Jimmy nichol, assistant manager, sixty one years old, sacked from Cowdenbeath last year! Yes lads that's the way forward, another cheap option, but a real rangers man! That makes it a good choice then for some! Get a reality check, he's past it and won't bring a thing to the party! Incidentally who's running the reserves now?

Billy blue

1.) 02 Jan 2018 22:29:30
Good point about the young team surley we need someone in there to run this

2.) 02 Jan 2018 22:40:49
Another Billy blue we've hire a pensioner will he be taking training way a zimmer lol 😂

3.) 02 Jan 2018 23:35:44
Jimmy Nichol done great job with NORTHERN IRELAND 🇬🇧 the whole squad have good word on him onwards and upwards.

4.) 03 Jan 2018 00:28:23
Billy blue, Jimmy nicol has played in two world cups played for rangers and man United won the league cup against Celtic assistant manager to Michael O'Neill for northern Ireland in the euros what have you done apart from slagging off the team your supposed to support.

5.) 03 Jan 2018 01:34:30
G man. so because Jimmy Nicol played in 2 world cups every supporter should be happy he’s our new number 2!? Really!? . I agree with Billy Blue, another cheap option.!

6.) 03 Jan 2018 10:47:44
What Murty needed more than anything as a no2 was experience. Jimmy ticks every box and has previous management experience and is a well respected no2 with Northern Ireland. He knows the demands and expectations of the club and is a rangers man. I really hope Murty is a success though I have my doubts and if he isn’t then O’Neil assistant will have had half a season to assess squad etc. This surely makes O’Neil massive favourite if Murty gamble doesn’t pay off.

7.) 03 Jan 2018 11:01:04
Billy Blue, Lee_McF and more importantly DSGERSFAN.
DO YOU GUYS SUPPORT THE CLUB, OR HAVE ANYTHING CONSTRUCTIVE TO ADD!
Negativity after negativity, put the club down at every chance.
Give the guy a chance, what type of fan writes someone off before they have even done anything. Then brags to others, if it doesn't work out saying. I told you so.
Like others, you can air your concerns but don't put the boot in like everyone else does, that is if you even are a supporter, or are you just a fan.

8.) 03 Jan 2018 11:20:57
Gordon83. I didn’t realise on this site you couldn’t criticise the club at all.? Surely it’s all about having your say which is exactly what I’m doing.! I’m not happy with a number of things so I’m going to say it, it’s all about opinions and just because mines differs from yours don’t mean I’m wrong.!

For the record (to answer your question) I’m a season ticket holder who sits GF4 and I’m on the CCS and go to Away games also so I’ve every right to vent just like everyone else.!

9.) 03 Jan 2018 11:53:02
Lee_McF like I clearly said. "YOU CAN AIR YOUR CONCERNS" But try be "CONSTRUCTIVE" in your criticism instead of being like Sutton and put the boot in. Most of my post is aimed at DSGERSFAN but if you feel so defensive that's your problem.

10.) 03 Jan 2018 12:06:11
And I clearly said I can vent just because it differs from yours doesn’t mean I’m wrong. If I want to criticise the club and I’ve every right to do so just as much as someone who wants to praise them. Again it’s all about opinions you’ve got yours and I’ve mine.

Not defensive at all, just answering your silly question regarding being a “fan” or “supporter” not that it should make difference. As everyone is entitled to their say.!

Have a nice day Gordon.

11.) 03 Jan 2018 12:41:55
One of the reasons people on here moan is the way the club is/ has been run and the seemingly random appointments. Nichol might well be a decent enough coach but he's not the most exciting appointment is he? I think we have the basis of a decent team but we've got got a good few duffers in the squad. 3 years after King taking control, we should be in a much better position on and off the park.

12.) 03 Jan 2018 13:37:42
Lee_McF, I've not given my opinion so how can you say it differs from yours. Am I happy with everything that has happened at my club. No i'm not, but i'm not going to sit here and chastise the board for making an effort. I will however vent and give an opinion with a constructive solution instead of be a little moaning cry baby. i'm not excited by Jimmy Nichol, but he deserves a fair chance. As does anyone we bring in. maybe the difference between us, is I have patience and won't go throwing my toys out the pram because things ain't going our way. With regards to my "silly question" it was rhetorical. The fact you responded is defensive. sorry

13.) 03 Jan 2018 13:44:55
Guys think u need to chill. this is a no2 appointment and he’s coming in to assist a manager with very limited experience. He has bags of experience

14.) 03 Jan 2018 16:52:25
Gordon83 your opinion seems to be you can’t make any criticism regarding the team/ club!? Well that differs from mine.! You think the board are making an effort!? Let’s think back a few weeks when they waited to go after a target, failed so appoint the U20s manager.! 👏🏻👏🏻 Your obviously easily pleased which is upto you but I for one would like better from the club and if that means that I’m a “little moaning cry baby” as you put it then I’m guilty as charged.

Out of curiosity though Gordon, where about do you sit at Ibrox!?

15.) 03 Jan 2018 17:34:07
Not an exciting appointment but I think it's a smart one purely for his experience

16.) 04 Jan 2018 08:43:20
Again you are wrong Lee_McF
When have I said you can't criticize the club?
I clearly said Air your concerns, which is the same as vent or critique etc.
Just do it in a better matter with some constructive emphasis in their instead of just moaning for the sake of it.
For me the board have done a good job since they take over and its clearly a marathon not a sprint to get us to where we belong. Which I can accept, obviously you cant.
I sit in BR2 with my kids but most of the time i'm upgraded to hospitality through my contacts since you asked.

30 Dec 2017 21:54:27
Good performance overall today, but let's look at the facts, we haven't beaten them in the league, they're almost home and dry, as it's out of our hands, nico a passenger, and Alves a disgrace, 16 mins as captain! Get rid of him, no heart no desire, stealing a wage, he simply didn't fancy it today.

Billy blue

1.) 30 Dec 2017 22:38:52
Your not the only one billy blue, but what is it with some of our supporters, thinking imo stupidly, that big bruno alves, was feining injury at breeze block boulevard today! NO chance was he pretending to be injured as he most definitely was injured! Not one of us where i was sitting at breeze block boulevard today, said this!

For god's sake i'm led to believe big alves left their ground on crutches! He's a thorough professional and to suggest that about any of our players, is pretty poor in my eyes! Get a grip! Try and enjoy our teams very good performance today, instead of spouting this negative stuff!

2.) 30 Dec 2017 23:09:57
What are you talking about with Alves he was injured end of!

3.) 30 Dec 2017 23:14:24
Your right supercoop big Alves did leave on crutches. I've got to say we didn't have many failures today but Danny Wilson was immense. I've been critical of Wilson in past games but he seems to play better when he's got a young player beside him like bates that he can guide through a game.

4.) 31 Dec 2017 07:00:41
Alves isn't up for it and should be shown the door.

5.) 31 Dec 2017 07:02:04
Bates was superb. a lot of people have slated him and Wilson. Thought they were class. Should have won in my opinion. Very proud of the performance from whole team.

6.) 31 Dec 2017 09:09:16
Bates was unbelievably good, just ahead of the rest of the back line (including the goalie) . Danny Wilson showed he is a very good player and I hope he can stay fit as he should be one of the first picks. The slating of Alves is grossly unfair imo. You could see the disappointment in his face when he realised he couldn't continue. Big time players love to play in this fixture so why would he feign injury. It is ridiculous to suggest that On another point the mhanky, self proclaimed bfitw, showed their class by booing young McCrorie as he recovered from bleeding all over their midden. It was so bad he had to change his shirt. Class as always!

27 Dec 2017 16:21:44
Watched that mob yesterday, to be fair they won at a stroll, think it could be damage limitation for us on the 30 th.

Billy blue

1.) 27 Dec 2017 17:44:36
Its all about the Celtic lol.

2.) 27 Dec 2017 18:54:39
Says the guy looking around on a Rangers forum 🤔

3.) 27 Dec 2017 19:20:58
Dundee were honking aswell though, i think as long as we turn up we'll be fine but our players have got to want it, they aren't as good as they think they are just everybody around them including us don't turn up when we play them, lovely touch by therr fans to sing cheer up neil McCann though after just losing his father, ill wait for the excuses

4.) 28 Dec 2017 12:41:01
It's on a Rangers page, Timmy, the very fact that you are even here to read and to comment on it demonstrates the unhinged level of your obsession with Rangers.
