Hearing rumours McParland is ready to quit due to budget. Source: the Sun.

1.) 09 Feb 2017 15:48:29
Is his job not to scout the best talent
And best deals for that young
Talent.? I'm sure we could
All Be a scout to buy players at millions. And also think
We need to get more scouts and broaden the search aswell.

2.) 09 Feb 2017 15:54:12
Would believe anything that comic says. But something seems to be building at club hopefully good news or horrendus news.

3.) 09 Feb 2017 16:52:31
Alex, scouts don't look for hidden gems and that is it. even at that, hidden gems can cost 500k (Andre Gray) 800k (Scott Hogan) .

McParland isn't being given the budget to find players of a decent level.

4.) 09 Feb 2017 17:57:18
How do you know he hasn't been given the budget . We all don't know what's going on behind the scenes . He go Rossiter, Windass and crooks we had to pay for them. He is been given something
He has just chosen these guys that's not worked out well.

5.) 09 Feb 2017 18:41:51
That should say hidden gems that are going for development fees and that is it.

6.) 09 Feb 2017 19:51:34
Just gets guys he saw at Watford

7.) 09 Feb 2017 21:25:32
He has done nothing since he arrived, if he goes then we could certainly get better with Mitchell at Spurs being head and shoulders above this guy!

8.) 09 Feb 2017 22:27:57
Typical Sun rubbish, no sources, nothing to back up the fairy tale, the only hopeful part of the whole piece of fantasy was that Kiernan is allegedly considering his future.

9.) 10 Feb 2017 12:54:29
How can you argue he hasn't had the budget. Spent near 3 Million on Fees or Development Fee's.

10.) 10 Feb 2017 12:46:04
I rated frank mcparland but i do agree with you TOMUSA, regarding how good paul mitchell of spurs is! Its a very good shout mate, mitchell i also rate better than mcparland and at southampton also, mitchell excelled! Would be a tremendous coup if we could replace frank mcparland with paul mitchell!

11.) 10 Feb 2017 13:26:10
mcparland knew what our club was going threw and knew we had no moneys to give him so why when the majority of his players have failed do we see him walking away.

its to protect his reputation of being a good scout.

i guarentee that we told him we have no money and even if we didn't its common knowlage

15 Aug 2016 11:53:30
Does anyone know who the big ginger hair guy training with us just now is? He was wearing he number 78 training top in the picture i seen, training before the dundee game.

1.) 15 Aug 2016 11:59:40
David Bates - he's a 19yo CD on loan until January from Raith. Was motm when we beat them 1-0 last term. Apparently will mostly feature for U20 side but I guess if he shows up well he'll get a permanent deal and be a first team player!

2.) 15 Aug 2016 12:00:55
David Bates CB on loan from Raith he's made the bench the last 2 games .

3.) 15 Aug 2016 12:10:25
Cheers guys.

4.) 15 Aug 2016 12:34:28
Looking forward to seeing the boy get a game, must enhance and improve the current pair. The boy looks a big unit.

5.) 15 Aug 2016 12:43:29
Kiernans a big unit aswell. doesn't do him any good lol.

6.) 15 Aug 2016 13:04:17
Yes but as RFCinfinity said, the boy was motm against us last season. He is big and he can play.

7.) 16 Aug 2016 09:51:23
If Senderos is fit then he would be a perfect addition. He is not fast, (which is a problem right now), but he can tackle and he is as hard as nails. Our current pairing are scared to tackle and can't head the ball. Senderos would be perfect although which of Kiernan or Wilson you would play alongside him is the issue. Perhaps the young lad from Raith Rovers is the better option!

19 Jun 2015 18:50:55
Rob kiernan deal will be tied up on Monday.

1.) 19 Jun 2015 20:03:33
hope we start getting players in soon

18 Jun 2015 10:57:39
Rangers looking at Matt Mills, Gavin Gunning, Vujadin Savic and Carlos Cuellar. All free transfer CB's.

1.) 18 Jun 2015 11:52:54
Mills signed for Nottingham Forest.

Would take Gunning. Was injured most of last year though.

2.) 18 Jun 2015 11:55:08
Wuld take matt mills in a heart beat gud strong cb and culd also do a turn up front watch him a few times last year gud experianced player just what we need for the next couple of seasons

3.) 18 Jun 2015 12:22:21
Matt Mills has, as far as I can see, not signed for anyone yet. Nottingham Forrest have signed no players for the coming season according to the clubs website.

4.) 18 Jun 2015 12:36:27
No thanks to all off them

5.) 18 Jun 2015 14:01:09
Can't see it myself especially with a year left on his contract I think better value players out there for that money I mean he look good last year in championship but look at the quality he was playing against

6.) 18 Jun 2015 13:56:45
Who would you have at the back eezyeez?

7.) 18 Jun 2015 15:22:50
Matt Mills is the only one in that list that I would pick. Gunning is an injury risk ( but then so was McGregor last year), Savic has played lower league in Serbia and Germany but WW might have seen something in the U21's with Watford and Cuellar is the past and getting on a bit.

All about the 3 year plan and getting players that will be there for the journey

8.) 18 Jun 2015 16:36:28
Cuellar is the best and safest choice as we no he suits the style of Scottish football, Savic played in the 3 league in Germany, gunning I just don't rate. Our back line should be mcgregor cuellar and kiernan

If the rumours are true that Murty will be in charge until the end of the season, that tells me the board have already given up on second place. I appreciate the guy has been thrown in at the deep end but he clearly has no respect from the players as people were laughing and joking on the bench when we were 2-0 down. You don't need millions of pounds to buy determination. Get your finger out king and co!

1.) 21 Feb 2017 17:38:14
Tell you what. They 2 sitting laughing on the bench at 2.0 down would not be in my squad this Friday night. Only thing is its extra money getting interim manager in till end of season then getting a new man in again. Do you think anyone can improve these players.

2.) 22 Feb 2017 16:33:10
According to murty we run the dundee defence ragged! That tumble he took on Sunday must of effected him.

3.) 22 Feb 2017 21:53:41
Never mind second we are in a battle to be in the top 4. A 5th place finish would rob us of 2 or 4 games in Europe before we go out. Think we need someone else in as Murty clearly doesn't want the job

24 Oct 2016 16:42:02
MW is still the man to turn things around. It was never going to be easy, first season back in the SPL. The guy was given less than half a million transfer money. When is the last time a Rangers Manager was given that amount? Even the great Walter Smith would struggle on that budget. He's done well with what he has but we need someone to invest. Celtic are able to spend 5 million on a single player right now. We haven't spent that on our entire squad. Its like having a stick and having to fight a guy with a sword. I agree we have not had the greatest of starts this season but some people calling for Warburtons head so early is ridiculous. And the post on here saying Stuart McCall would have done a better job is laughable.

1.) 24 Oct 2016 18:25:38
Half I mill? Garner £1.5 mill ? £400, moh? Everyone hurts when their team gets beat but at least stick to real points.

2.) 24 Oct 2016 23:08:32
Blue ranger

He paid £1.8m for Garner so where are you getting the £500k figure from?

3.) 24 Oct 2016 23:44:55
I believe Warburton deserves to be supported by board and fans. We are facing a different challenge and doing ok with several disappointments. then the harsh reality of well beaten by celtic distorts rational thinking. However I am now wishing to hear something different from our manager who overloads with 'work harder' and 'learning'. needs to reassess formation and tactics. that will allow us to see the learning. I'm kinda feeling no significant changes equals no learning.

20 Sep 2016 11:30:58
If Joey Barton is found guilty of betting, can Rangers terminate his contract without paying him? That may well be why he is banned for 3 weeks, so an investigation can be done. Just a thought.

1.) 20 Sep 2016 12:21:50
No mate i'm sure its a 3 match ban although it could end up being part of a disciplinary that includes evwrything and whatever else that went on, which could end up in a sacking.

2.) 20 Sep 2016 12:58:52
I reckon he is a goner.

3.) 20 Sep 2016 13:08:03
Did Ian black or simionsen get sacked for it? There's the answer.

4.) 20 Sep 2016 16:04:50
I would doubt it as he didn't bet against the club more likely an SFA fine or suspension.

28 Jul 2016 12:38:49
Mark Warburton states we have our targets and none of them are on twitter. I think this is him saying RVP ain't happening without actually saying it. Source:Rangers website.

28 Jun 2016 11:18:19
Has Matt Gilks officially signed for us? I was on the bbc transfers page and it says he signed for us on 24/ 06/ 16 but I've not heard anything official.

1.) 28 Jun 2016 11:39:36
Yes, take a look at the official site. He started training with the squad immediately.

I honestly think Michael O'Neil would be best for us. Defensivly brilliant manager which is what we need. Could he not take charge till the end of the season and keep his NI duties?

Durrant's unfortunate injury which cut short his career has given him a coaching job at rangers because his pals were running the club. I don't think the old pals act washes with warburton, so if durrant is not performing to the standard warburton requires, he will go. Do you think Ally would have let Durrant go if he was under performing? I think not.
