I pray that we have this incriminating evidence and if so use it, I cannot get my head round how Stewart Robinson remained on the board given we are supposedly going to "war" with SPFL
After all the bluster and posturing we went public with we will will look ridiculous as a club if it's a damp squib.

I agree Blue Blue, the whole stinking process has been a sham. I actually hate Scottish football and the way its run. If it wasn't for the teddy bears i'd be off like a shot. I hope we have strong evidence of wrong doing within the spfl and fight them with all we have. Hopefully we can bring down the house of corruption and coercion around these muppets.

Rangers had a solid plan in place to release funds to the teams who desparately need the money at the same time as giving the league time to see if it could be finished on the pitch.

You have to laugh at the spfl saying our plan wasn't competent. Judging someone elses competency when you've just shown the whole footballing world how incompetent the spfl are is a joke and a half.

2.) 16 Apr 2020 00:18:41
Well see in the next window when Dundee get celtic fringe players on loan, I'd bet my life on it 👍.

3.) 16 Apr 2020 01:43:27
Why would you remove yourself from the board and lose any inside leverage you have during a situation like this? Makes no sense.

We can and are fighting with Robertson on the SPFL board. What exactly is he meant to do in this situation. Dundee have been tapped up along with god knows how many others.

Tell us what Rangers could have done about this situation before anything actually happened?

4.) 16 Apr 2020 09:16:59
he could have resigned and threw the the spfl corruption wide open.

5.) 16 Apr 2020 10:24:16
Blue blue sea, maybe the spy in the camp kinda thing, lol.

6.) 16 Apr 2020 10:14:50
if this scenario that has played out has anything to tell us at all. then walking away from responsible governance either in football or society is just NOT on. unless you leave the country.

7.) 16 Apr 2020 11:21:53
bearmode is right. run away is no solution and the problem. in football governance and the rest of scottish society for that matter. its weak and less weakness being shown by England recently.

28 Jan 2020 16:07:59
Reports were being linked with a "lengthy " loan spell for a sporting Lisbon under 21 international. Why? Of all the positions we are covered in surely mid field is it? Crying out for forward cover.

Blue blue sea

1.) 28 Jan 2020 16:44:24
Daily Rebel saying reports are wide of the mark. Take whatever they say with a pinch of salt though.

2.) 28 Jan 2020 18:31:13
Kamara - rubbish
Davis - great
Arfield - going through bereavement
jack - injured

If there's one position we're ridiculously thin on, it's midfield.

3.) 28 Jan 2020 19:18:36
Kamara - rubbish? Behave man. Young boy has had 1 bad game. He's been an absolute steal for us and will earn us a tidy profit when we decide to sell.

4.) 28 Jan 2020 19:53:39
Yeah but if performances like Sunday continue who would buy him?

5.) 28 Jan 2020 20:27:08
Rob1910 What evidence is there that his performances will continue to drop? He's a young guy who, up until Sunday, has been pretty consistent. Do we just write him off after one bad performance? Some folk need to get a grip man.

6.) 28 Jan 2020 22:00:05
Joke comment

Depends on type of midfielder as what we lack out with Kent who is hot and cold is give ability to burst past a man and create, not necessarily passing ability.

El Eyonussi, arzani, Christie, Rogic, Johnson, forrest etc vs. Jones, Barker, ojo, Stewart

No contest.

7.) 28 Jan 2020 22:01:26
Big thing for me is we have 2 very different strikers but play the same system. Alfredo is great in a 4-3-3 as he can drop deep and run the channels and it brings the midfield closer to him.
Defoe on other hand is a penalty box striker. We should play a 4-2-3-1 with him in team as it gives a central attacking midfielder closer to him and he doesn't drop deep and run channels.
Arfield or aribo for me in the middle of A3 man midfield in that system with the 2 guys either side are wingers.

8.) 28 Jan 2020 22:03:07
Thing is too, at home Defoe is an ok option as the game is squeezed and the midfield are closer as the game is pushed up but away from home the game is longer and defore is too far from the midfield. That's why a 4-2-3-1 is better option away from home in games like Sunday is Alfredo isn't playing.

9.) 28 Jan 2020 22:13:27
Not fair to say Kamara rubbish. He will be a standout at the Euros this summer, mark my words.

10.) 28 Jan 2020 22:58:18
Yea a bit of ignorance there if you ask me . A small dip and some are on the victim like heyenas. I mean ok we are all entitled to opinions but don’t you think it’s a bit strange that before Xmas most if us agreed his value was veteeen 5 and 10 million?
If you don’t agree check the old posts .
I’m not sure if there are a few plants coming on here to cause unrest . as some of the post names I do not recognise and they ate obviously new . so fellow bears be on your guard . you know their tactics . We’ve had one bad result do they need to exploit it as much as possible. throwing in as much negativity as they can BEWARE.

11.) 29 Jan 2020 00:05:14
Richy1471, get in touch right away with the manager and the senior coaches and put them right.

12.) 29 Jan 2020 01:53:21
Not saying Kamara's performance will drop but need to hope it doesn't.

13.) 29 Jan 2020 08:02:48
Kamara is a class player he had a nightmare on Sunday. most weeks he would get away with it being bailed out by teammates. On Sunday he was nt because so many others were poor also. He ll know how he played and look to get back to standard ASAP I’m sure.

14.) 29 Jan 2020 09:41:40
richy1471 how dare you suggest that our manager is anything but perfect. Some people will call you a Celtic fan for such sacrilege.

15.) 29 Jan 2020 10:01:30
Kamara not rubbish. very tidy on the ball But he is very slack in possession like sunday that happens week in week out if am honest. again will bring up the example of him basically getting jack sent off v young boys.

Gaffers interview talking about Defoe says enjoy him not going to around much longer? Does that mean he's going back down south or his age and time he's left to play?

Blue blue sea

1.) 20 Dec 2019 22:48:15
Just watched the interview there and sounds pretty definite that he’s for the off.

It’s a real shame because he’s a class act but he can’t be happy with the amount of minutes he’s played.

Says a lot that Alfredo is keeping a player of his calibre out of the picture.

2.) 20 Dec 2019 22:55:28
Unless Defoe is in a episode of the Sopranos it purely down to his age.

3.) 20 Dec 2019 23:06:21
CBS it means enjoy him end of! He is a perfect gentleman a perfect professional and hope fully stays with us and helps with our younger lions coming through and he is 37! Shame we didn't acquire his services at an earlier stage Defoe is the perfect professional football player and adversary.

4.) 21 Dec 2019 01:21:11
What rot. He's talking about his age, not anything to do with him leaving. Where do you people get your negativity from?

5.) 21 Dec 2019 02:56:52
Briangerfan, yip that's the way i think the way. The manager was meaning it .

6.) 21 Dec 2019 10:01:46
Daisy yore it’s a question, a valid question! as the gaffer gave no context to it why are you so aggressive in your reply? nobody is being negative if you read posts, the only negativity is in your pitiful post.

7.) 21 Dec 2019 10:09:32
Watch his interview on rangers tv talks about age.

8.) 21 Dec 2019 13:50:53
Defoes staying at rangers. he clearly has a soft spot for rangers and he ain't going to get more minutes if he gets a recall back to epl. he will sign a deal to finish his professional career with us. he will be here for 2 in a row maybe even 3.and can i give my opinion. if he played instead of morelos this season. same games same situations he would be on a higher goal tally than morelos. i just think he's a much more gifted striker than morelos.

he knows a pass when he sees one and his eye for goal is deadly. which is why in another post i said i would start him before morelos on the 29th. morelos may have a much higher goal rate than defoe but that's only because gerrards played him more. he's not greedy with the ball. imo if he was same age as morelos with the same speed he had at that age morelos wouldn't get a look in.

i know morelos will be hard to replace but have faith in defoe. he shouldn't be playing second fiddle to anyone. its an opinion so please don't slate me for it but when morelos leaves wether it be january or the summer. defoe should be our main striker with gerrard looking for a bench warmer for him. the guy rarely puts a foot wrong and knows exactly where the goal is. he's proved he's still got the fitness levels needed for up here. he may be 37 but he plays like a 25 year old. still a good 2 3 years left in him for spl.

9.) 21 Dec 2019 13:51:45
I'm sure he was referring to his age, nothing more sinister than that. Thought his goal was pure class. Top drawer.

10.) 21 Dec 2019 13:48:05
Pretty definite that you don’t understand sg was simply brushing on Jermaine age .

Try to look at the big picture.

11.) 21 Dec 2019 16:16:00
I love Defoe but he played at Ibrox when we lost 2.0 and never got a sniff with the game changing when Alfredo came on last twenty . so don’t kn what your in aboot 9?
Stevie plays it perfectly.

12.) 21 Dec 2019 17:42:07
I'm positive gerrard was referring to defoe's age when saying the fans should enjoy him! He'll finish his playing career with us and will play on for at least another couple of years! A player coaching role and he's definitely staying with us beyond this season IMO.

13.) 22 Dec 2019 10:08:16
He also played at Ibrox when we beat them 2-0 mate with his dummy setting up the 2nd goal.
Alfredo does more all round, holding it up better, stronger in the channels, the air and creating chances for himself.
Defoe though has better movement and is a better finisher in the box.
We also play a different style and create more chances from different areas when Defoe starts, you only need to look at our form last 6 games of last season, hard fixtures we won comfortably when JD starts.
I think Gerrard has rotated them well for the majority of the time usually starting with El Buffalo on big matches especially away from home but think Defoe deserves more minute from the bench than 10 here and there.

14.) 23 Dec 2019 17:43:23
Jermain Defoe is still a quality striker even at 37 now. This wee fella has the physique of a 27 year old and you can see what a top pro he still is and the way he looks after himself. He's a goalscoring machine as his goal against hibs at ER proves. One chance he got and the ball is nestling in the back of the net. It was an extinctive finish from a thoroughbred of a goalscorer! No wonder he's in the top 5 striker's list in the history of the english premiership/ premier league! Morelos has already learned a lot from defoe and has become much better because defoe is at ibrox. Defoe is still the most natural, gifted goalscorer, we have at rangers. Any chance that falls to him in the box gets tucked away with applomb! Its a must we get him signed permanently, beyond june of next year. I think its certain he will stay and end his career at rangers, as everyone can clearly see he loves our club and our supporters! A striker coaching role also in the pipeline for defoe and little wonder!

20 Aug 2019 08:45:44
I read we're linked with Eamon Brophy? Surely not, even as a squad player I'd be stunned if we do go for another striker is like to see a "Hateley" type not another smallish front man.

Blue blue sea

1.) 20 Aug 2019 13:13:48
I still have hope for Barasic but it’s fading fast. Taylor would be a good replacement if we decide to punt Borna.

2.) 21 Aug 2019 00:49:17
Taylor is an average player in a poor team and not up to the standard we require.

08 Aug 2019 08:47:21
Reports we're signing Brandon Barker from Man City! Recall he was on loan at hibs recently if true kinda suggests Kent deal not happening I'm sure he's a wide man also.
A bit under whelming.

Blue blue sea

1.) 08 Aug 2019 09:10:53
Remember him playing well against us for Hibs but then so did Jordan jones with Killie. Is he really an upgrade on jones with both vying for the left wing position? More importantly we need another striker and left back. What are dado prso and Arthur numan up to these days?

2.) 08 Aug 2019 09:13:29
Confirmed on SSN!

3.) 08 Aug 2019 09:13:58
Read somewhere we are waiting to see if Liverpool sell Kent by tonight and if not we are going to offer them a loan deal.

4.) 08 Aug 2019 09:15:18
Not too sure about this one but he is in Glasgow to sign today!

5.) 08 Aug 2019 09:17:26
Yeah in final year of City contract and been released. He done well at Hibs but have to agree it pretty much spells the end of any faint hope of signing Kent.

6.) 08 Aug 2019 09:18:06
Personally thought barker was class at hibs.

7.) 08 Aug 2019 09:24:21
Yes lightning quick I remember at Hibs.
Gave Tav a roasting.
Gerrard can turn him into a player.
Let's not forget that Kent hadn't shown anything to suggest he'd turn into the Ryan Giggs just before December last year.

8.) 08 Aug 2019 10:03:24
Barkers career

Rotherham
Apps 4
Goal 1

NAC Breda
Apps 22
Goals 2

Hibernian
Apps 27
Goals 2

Preston
App 12
Goals 0

This is an awful signing not rangers calibre!

we need a striker what is Gerrard playing at!

We should be aiming higher.

9.) 08 Aug 2019 10:46:12
We are stockpiling wingers. Keep letting young stru=ikers go like dallas and hardie. And agree broxi bear they are exactly the 2 types of player we need, a left back and a big striker. We won't win the league without some height and muscle upfront.

10.) 08 Aug 2019 10:47:51
Did you see Kent’s starts before he came to uz embarrasing to say the least lol give the boy a chance he’s no even played yet.

11.) 08 Aug 2019 10:52:41
What’s latest on young Middleton, has he gone to Hibs on loan or did we do deal with Dutch team?

12.) 08 Aug 2019 11:09:40
Good signing imo.

13.) 08 Aug 2019 12:29:51
I take it that's league goal stats you have up there? Of did you make them up? He scored a few at preston.

14.) 08 Aug 2019 13:40:21
Barker could be an interesting signing. Faster and more direct than Kent.

15.) 08 Aug 2019 14:57:20
Go look at ryan kents stats previous to Rangers. awful even at us his stats are not great.

16.) 08 Aug 2019 16:20:59
Bankie Middleton going to Hibs, deal done re loan, but not happening till after Sunday game.

17.) 09 Aug 2019 12:15:51
Nice day for a walk

Kent never showed he could turn in to Ryan giggs at anytime never mind after December.

McAvennie is at it again apparently we can't afford Lyndon Dykes and Celtic would want him as a third choice
Why are theses people allowed to publish unsubstantiated nonsense
How does he know what we can and can't afford? Does my head in.

Blue blue sea

1.) 29 Jun 2020 12:34:16
Ignore him, another ex Celtic player trying to deflect away from a recent tainted title handout and stay relevant!

2.) 29 Jun 2020 12:44:46
Another Hollicom cheerleader to deflect from the fact the Tim's have extended ST deadline due to poor sales. Anything to bury bad news from the piggery. 👍.

3.) 29 Jun 2020 12:48:13
The guy’s an irrelevance- just like his pals Sutton, Hartson, Stewart etc.

4.) 29 Jun 2020 13:51:21
I know I should but I can’t it’s like Keith Jackson he’s the same 😡😡😡.

5.) 29 Jun 2020 14:00:37
Wheres the burds.

6.) 29 Jun 2020 14:28:38

8.) 29 Jun 2020 18:43:04
Macavenie the Milton minger.

9.) 29 Jun 2020 18:56:54
McAvennie is a nobody trying to be a someone. He is talking out of his backside, hoping people will listen to him and make him feel important.

10.) 29 Jun 2020 19:39:24
poor old frank, did he ever get the 100,000 they took off him at dover.

11.) 29 Jun 2020 20:39:34
we have no interest in dykes at all lads trust me

source directly from his agent (close family friend)

25 Jun 2020 18:20:58
I see football insider have drafted in yet another Tim apologist in McAvennie! We've had Gerrard definitely going next season we've now got Morelos head gone From him
All this from a "professional treasure hunter"
Why get ex Tim's commenting on Rangers?

Blue blue sea

1.) 25 Jun 2020 18:47:51

He's like a poor pantomime character at the Pavilion. Joker who lurches from one embarrassment to the next.

24 Jun 2020 11:15:07
I find in fascinating that many on here decry a player from where he's been previously
Players do come through levels and become high end players
Andy Robertson
Alfredo Morelos
Henrik Larson
Lubo moravcic as a few examples
I totally get and agree we need 1st 11 players but we cannot dismiss players we can develop and sell on unfortunately that's where we are
Pains me to say it but over the other side of city have done that well yes there are have been duffers but in the main scouting has been far better for years, hopefully with our new guy in place it's going to get better
🙏🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧.

Blue blue sea

1.) 24 Jun 2020 11:44:10
Larsson came from Feyenoord so hardly a backwater mate. Also him and Moravcik were established internationals. Easy to get seduced by Robertson (vardy always the other one mentioned) but these guys are exceptions to the rule. Won't be a player with a rise as fast as Robertson for another twenty years.

2.) 24 Jun 2020 13:46:21
It's easy to develop players when u have no competition. Rangers have only became a force again in last couple of seasons.

3.) 24 Jun 2020 14:05:02
Smell my point is where they started to where they ended up we need to be looking at deals that make us money long term
Example of Morelos if we said today we’re looking at a young Columbian from Helsinki guaranteed we’d get not good enough must aim higher won’t win 55 with that level of signing in yet we stand to lift massive profit on him and many rue his potential exit.

4.) 24 Jun 2020 15:00:19
100% agree with you BBS hopefully our scouts can find a gem or two.
SG signings have been 50/ 50 for me at the moment and it needs to get better if we are to challenge them.

5.) 24 Jun 2020 15:25:50
Everyone is aware we need to sign with future investment in mind mate, we definitely agree on that. We also need cast iron, first team stand outs this season. We have spent the last couple years trying to get bargains and with a couple of exceptions (Fredo included) we have not got the best hit rate. Guys that end up in the stands bleeding a wage that will never cut it. I actually feel we probably have the same opinions mate, just those names quoted didn't tally up with your argument. All good debate though 👍.

6.) 24 Jun 2020 17:36:57
Snell 👍👍 think you’re right mate.

20 Jun 2020 10:16:50
As far as our new strip is concerned if the pictures are mock ups or not, it's got our classic blue, it's got our sponsorship logo in prominent position as per terms of any shirt sponsor agreement, it's got Castore logo and most importantly, our Beloved Crest
To finish it's got Red and white accents
Throwing it out there What would you do different and I really don't know how it looks cheap from a picture!
It's unbelievable we're never happy!
So a description of your home strip and how it'd look? Keeping in mind what must be there ie 32Red if you agree or not.

So much for the "no strings attached" deal looks like SPFL are doing everything to avoid relegation for hearts absolutely shocking if this goes ahead! Sky must Be rubbing their hands they'll be next sponsor of the league watch this space.

Blue blue sea

1.) 11 Jun 2020 15:38:43
I don't think anyone believed ' no strings attached " comment. The guy is a Hearts season ticket holder. As you say mate - watch this space.
