Being at the game on Saturday all I saw was players knocking the ball side ways at the back and nobody making runs to receive the ball or no one touch football to get some urgency in our attack. they seemed clueless and then punted the ball up the park to no avail. . we couldn’t pass the ball and we looked like pedros team again. once there on the park it’s down to the players.

On Saturday 9 didn’t play well at all. In fact they were pathetic. Murty can’t control them and doesn’t have the depth in squad to make wholesale changes. Once our injuries clear up we can bench or leave from squad consistent poor performers. Then we may see more urgency and see what Murty can do with a good fit squad.

In large part due to the decision not to start with Morelas in the team.

2.) 20 Mar 2018 13:40:41
Murty is not the answer as Manager if he isn’t given the job next season then I predict he won’t last the season and we will be once again looking for another Manager

11 Mar 2018 10:19:08
Any news on Murphy and John?

Blue nose

04 Mar 2018 19:27:10
Murty got a good few dilemmas for next week. Alves or Martin, does cummings get a starting place. Does Murphy start. Does Halliday keep his spot of risk hopefully fit again John. What a great position to be in. Docherty was great again today and I’m sure will go on to be our captain.

What game did u watch the day doc was cap as well as a few others and a hope morels does better not week because he could ey. hit a barn door from 6 yards the day

2.) 04 Mar 2018 22:22:33
I'd go
Fod
Tav
Bates
Alves
Halliday
Goss
Docerty
Windass
Candi
Murphy
Moralos
The same team that has been playing so well lately don't see the point in changing to much or the formation just would have Alves over Martin and Halliday becouse the we have no other choice apart from hodson.

3.) 05 Mar 2018 13:12:19
bluenose,

was just saying the same thing about Doc yesterday! great wee player and a def future gers captain imo

4.) 05 Mar 2018 16:06:28
Doc had a good game. Was everywhere and tried to make passes forward.

I read this morning that Wigan are lining up a bid for Jordan rossiter. Any club would not bid for a player who has been out for so long unless they believed there was a good player there with a big profitable future for the club. I don't think we should sell him unless a big figure gets offered as in my opinion he will prove to be a class act ince these boggling issues go away and I for one hope they do.

Blue nose

1.) 23 Jan 2018 08:23:48
I agree that he may turn out to be a good player mate but we don’t have the resources now to be a rehab centre or a team that can have any passengers. Looks like the smart move is to trim away Hardie, Rossiter, Alves, Niko etc along with a few others. It’s sad and thanks for the effort lads but it’s a matter of club survival and health.

2.) 23 Jan 2018 08:24:05
A would just loan him out hopefully he can get over his injury problems

3.) 23 Jan 2018 08:27:26
Sadly I think rossiter is injury prone. I would sell him, and if its to be believed that he is on a big wage then in my opinion that wage could be better spent on a player that won't spend as long on the sidelines. Hope I'm wrong and he comes good but I just think he will be plagued throughout his career.

4.) 23 Jan 2018 09:07:12
Loan him - wigan pick up his wages (high apparently! ), with option to sell at end of season if he proves fit, then £5 mill.

5.) 23 Jan 2018 09:08:39
Either one of Rossiter or Alves off the wage bill will pay for lad from Hamilton.
go for it.

6.) 23 Jan 2018 09:13:49
When he signed we were getting a potentially £8m English Youth Captain with a big future.
Unfortunately injuries have hampered his progress over the past 18 months with only glimpses of his capabilities being displayed in a Rangers jersey.
I think we ended up paying £500k development fee and £10k wages for past 18 months totalling £2m with little return.
If we are offered £1m I would cut our losses and use that cash to pay for Docherty.
Rossiter might end up injury free tearing it up down south and he might not, he might also get another injury so sell him, and insert sell on fee and even buy back clause if possible.
A loan fee and his wages paid for 6 months might appeal as well then if he stays injury free we have him back if we need him

7.) 23 Jan 2018 09:25:28
Game of Thrones. You probably know my views about Hardie! I'm not necessarily disagreeing with what you say but surely Hardie has never been given a chance by any of the last three managers?

8.) 23 Jan 2018 09:56:36
Loan him or sell with buy back. Sounds like the right thing to do. See if he can stay fit and perform. Maybe plays a blinder and we get offered silly money. It's a nightmare with rossiter cause he's never had a run of games.

9.) 23 Jan 2018 10:29:49
it is ment to be a low bid for rossiter so do no think we will sell him and the way murty has talked about him before i do not think he will want to let him go

10.) 23 Jan 2018 11:35:45
Doiger Yes Hardie hasn’t been given a chance But if 3 managers don’t rate him What is the reason Football ability, Attitude or something else

11.) 23 Jan 2018 11:38:44
Penna on special fitness pedro says he will be great for club when fully fit aa scored lots from midfield when with rangers ha ha ha

12.) 23 Jan 2018 13:28:58
Could punt him but include a decent sell on % then at least we will get something decent back if he does go on to be an established EPL player

13.) 23 Jan 2018 15:39:15
Any money we can get for him is a bonus. i would even drive him to Wigan myself. Ability never in question but worse than Andy Carroll Michael Owen and Jack Wilshere combined for injuries. Only Prodan could beat his injury record. Time to off load this guy. Total failure and waste of a wage. How can you possibly be almost permanently injured for almost 2 years

14.) 23 Jan 2018 16:46:16
Can't see this boy ever being fit while under contract at Rangers. May well be the case that we need to just let him go. I'm sure if he could stay fit and get regular games, he would be worth a lot more - unfortunately, we don't have the resources or time in Glasgow to offer him the chance to get to that stage. A shame, but that is football.

15.) 23 Jan 2018 18:54:42
Nuts selling Rossiter absolute nuts the lads a class act, he's training with first team. I'd wait till summer because I think if we sold him we'd regret it.

16.) 24 Jan 2018 00:36:01
The boy will come good and make us good money just be patient and we do have the resources for his rehab ya maddy

08 Jan 2018 06:46:08
See the papers reporting that Pedros club now paying all Penas wages and have a 2 mill deal agreed should he impress. wonder what’s changed or will we ever know the true facts

Blue nose

1.) 08 Jan 2018 07:26:51
I think the papers just make things up tbh

2.) 08 Jan 2018 07:48:49
spot on seeker

3.) 08 Jan 2018 09:27:35
Do you really think the board should come out and say what happens in transfer negotiations doesn't happen anywhere else I agree they should be more open in a lot of things but there are two clubs and a player involved in a transfer and things must remain confidential just be very happy if they are paying all his wages and are willing to fork out a transfer fee

4.) 08 Jan 2018 09:35:02
That's it Seeker, if they didn't then what would they print/ post?

The done thing by the two main newspapers here is make a story up, then the very next day contradict that story with another. Their 'Journalists' are being paid well for those stories as well, it's almost criminal.

5.) 08 Jan 2018 10:10:43
We never no what is going on at our club but i wouldn't be surprised if this is just pr spin to make it look good for our club.
cruz azul already said they got a good deal for the club so more than likley the 50 50 split on wages is the deal that has been done.

6.) 08 Jan 2018 10:15:22
Had to laugh last week, the DR had two headlines up on their website. One said, Murphy on flight to USA, almost like they were there and had watched him get on the plane. The other headline a bit later on said, Murphy transfer in doubt and he won't be joining his team mates in USA.
Lazy lazy journalism, and don't get me started with spelling mistakes!

7.) 08 Jan 2018 12:27:51
Got to give the board credit for getting his full wages off the wage bill just hope he does impress and they pay the 2 mill

8.) 08 Jan 2018 21:11:02
What’s with Pena blowing his nose on rangers shorts when he arrived in Mexico

9.) 09 Jan 2018 09:10:29
Who cares what he did during his awful time at us he was blowing out his arse plenty of times

10.) 09 Jan 2018 13:04:35
What if its true and the papers are telling the truth? Who from rangers said that we were paying 50% of his wages? Who from rangers said that murphy was signing permanently in jan? Maybe the board knew all along that the murphy deal was an initial loan with option to buy and that cruz azul were paying all of pena's wages with a 2mil fee if all goes well. Its all speculation created not only in the media but from folk on here who claim to have sources (💩) and spout details of deals that turn out to be 💩 then everyone jumps on the band wagon and slates the board.

I must admit I have never seen a nice Hummel football strip. Gutted it’s nit a big name. Was hoping it was under armour

Blue nose

1.) 19 Apr 2018 08:37:05
Hummel = humming
Under armour = Umbro reserves

Rangers should never even have our brand or name next to either of the top two

But two here should be where we should be getting
Nike = top class
Adidas = top class

I will not be buying a Hummel top youth teams can get Hummel strips cheap rubbish honestly that’s why there needs to be a change at the top giving us crap stuff so Dave kings pockets can be lined Stewart Robertson is treating us like the way he worked at Motherwell a mediocre team job is to big for this clown

2.) 19 Apr 2018 08:51:43
Obvious Nike or Adidas have not approached us! If the Hummel rumours are true.

If it is good enough for an international team like Denmark or previously Spurs then I am fine with it. Hopefully we have got the best deal to benefit the club and this is all that matters. After the last shambles with Sports Direct I would hope every Bear will be buying these strips and showing the bigger suppliers we can still ship the most shirts in the UK like we did before. Hopefully in three years when the contract runs out we are again on top and stable, we can then negotiate better deals!

3.) 19 Apr 2018 09:05:13
Dont no much about these kit manufactors but what top brand will want to be associated with us just now the club is a mess top to bottom.
We are looking at 3.3 milliin a year ruffly over the road they are getting 6 milliin a year. This reflects how far they are a head of us off the field and on the field.

4.) 19 Apr 2018 09:23:39
It's a good deal for Rangers for God sake, does it matter who the makers are. Stop moaning and embrace it .

5.) 19 Apr 2018 09:53:45
With all the board turmoil takover panel managment problems ect this is probaly a good deal for the club.

6.) 19 Apr 2018 10:41:02
youth teams can also get nike and adidas strips for pretty cheap, I used to coach a under 12s team and we got Nike strips for £14 per strip. it doesn't matter who is making the kits, its the badge on the strip that counts. honestly some rangers fans will find anything to moan at on these pages.

16 Apr 2018 20:31:51
Martin-can’t get game for Norwich
Goss- can’t get game for QPR
Cummings-can’t get game for forest
Haliday-couldn’t get game in aberzazian

The list could go on. this type of squad will not topple them. There bench yesterday was very strong and had quality options to adapt to any tactical decision.
We have some good players and

Blue nose

1.) 16 Apr 2018 22:17:58
Every single player on their bench would walk into our first team and every single player in our starting 11 wouldn’t have made their bench

2.) 17 Apr 2018 00:42:45
Ok let's step back guys. We need a top class manager and investment. That is the only way. Jock Stein was seismic so was Walter. No more stop gaps - Rodgers is EPL top 10 we have to agree - this is a crucial juncture in 1970 Everton were the biggest club in Liverpool 20 years later Liverpool were out of sight. We can't become a scottish Everton. We need investment and a Messiah.

11 Mar 2018 15:29:24
I agree with Murty that basic defensive errors cost us today. Simple stuff that should come natural to pro’s . Cardoso is not good enough but he has had no game time to get sharper. midfield did well and competed well. Morales! I just wish this boy could bury the simple goals because he works so hard and causes mischief but when he needs to earn his crust it sometimes falls wayside. the gulf was not as big as previous matches and I am confident we will win in semi and get a good result at the pig sty

Blue nose

1.) 11 Mar 2018 15:54:53
Cardoso is a weak link weakling

2.) 11 Mar 2018 15:59:28
Frustrating watching Morelos, he seems to put away the hard chances and miss the easy ones!

05 Feb 2018 14:19:46
Seeing rossiter player 60mins as captain for under 20’s who beat Valencia 1-0. good news as he will add that steel along with good range of passing to midfield if he can stay injury free.

Blue nose

1.) 05 Feb 2018 14:55:09
Yes mate, that would be a terrific addition to the midfield if we could get him fit! Terrific result again from the young lads, this games programme that they are involved in seems to have been well worth doing, let’s hope we get a few of these boys coming through as we all love one of our own!

2.) 05 Feb 2018 15:45:18
Have only seen briief highlights of Hibs match and looks like moment of madness from Tav cost us. Looking for ward to seeing the boy Docherty get a run, how did he look whe he came on against Hibs and should he be in starting lineup tomorrow?

3.) 05 Feb 2018 16:08:18
Agree with that Bankie. After battling so hard for the equaliser that needless penalty was a real punch in the gut for the team.

4.) 05 Feb 2018 16:49:58
Would be great if rossiter can stay fit, he's the best midfielder we've got, play him in front of the back 4 and hopefully Mcrorie will be back soon in the defense alongside martin.

5.) 05 Feb 2018 16:52:39
Let's play the under 20s team tomorrow night against the Jags! lol They seem to be on a roll.

6.) 05 Feb 2018 18:20:21
If the club had any sense we should sell Rossiter as soon as he's fit before he's quickly injured again!

7.) 05 Feb 2018 21:01:15
You can only sell people in the transfer window 🤔

8.) 05 Feb 2018 21:15:46
Exactly Dunbar Blue it'll be the next transfer window before he's fit😩

9.) 05 Feb 2018 22:12:58
Some transfer windows are still open

03 Feb 2018 19:57:32
If morales is sulking then bench him and play boys that want to play for the jersey. Herrera does not get a sniff and we may never know how good he is as he gets the odd 10 mins. He is a Mexican international so can’t be that bad and I am sure given game time with Cummings up to they could form a decent partnership. Windass is too hot and cold and miller past it. Dodoo is another one who just needs a chance. If morales sulks through the week bench him then sell him min 8million and recall Hardie

Blue nose

1.) 03 Feb 2018 20:51:58
Can't really be suggesting benching Morales but still expect £7-8m for him surely? Windass has been one of our better players this season. Herrera, dodoo and hardie will not improve our first team. Dorrans, jack, alves (&maybe even rossiter) would though

2.) 03 Feb 2018 22:25:58
I thought the only time we cut them open was when we deployed quick interchange passing centrally around their penalty box. Not sure why we do not attack more through the middle. Crosses into the box leave just Morelos in there on his own. Need more creativity through the middle. Just my opinion though.

3.) 03 Feb 2018 22:42:37
Dorrans, Jack and Alves won't get us second place! Players like Dodoo, Herrera, etc should not even be in the stands! Our squad is just an average SPL squad. We show the same consistency as your Motherwell's, Hearts, Dundee's etc, win games here and there, lose games here and there and that's because we have bang average SPL players. For me it highlights just how poor the squad is when Josh Windass has been one of our better players. Unless we get major investment or genuine big bids for these average players then things won't change.

4.) 03 Feb 2018 22:56:58
Herrera is awful and offers nothing. Total waste of time even having him on the bench. O’Halloran hasn’t been great but at least he offers some pace and has scored more goals this season than Herrera. Speaks volumes for Herrera that when 1 down Murty still didn’t bring him on

5.) 04 Feb 2018 08:51:41
Of course dorrans, jack, alves improves our first team (+mccrorie) we don't need major investment, our budget must be at least 2-3 times the amount of the sheep, hibs. We need properly managed from the board, down to the manager. I maintain if we had a MANAGER, not a youth coach in charge we'd be much better off. To think our only apparent management target was McInnes?

6.) 04 Feb 2018 10:40:53
Blueberry are you serious when you say we don't need investment? Dorrans, Jack, Alves and McCrorie were in the team that took us to 3rd place! How can we have a budget when we make a loss and need soft loans? Your on a different planet mate😂😂

We need to keep him as Cummings has hardly set world on fire since he arrived. Morales is twice the player Cummings is and works twice as hard too. I know he isn’t match fit but I just think all the bravado is not enough to wear the famous blue shirt

If he was in right mind frame to stay and play at rangers I would keep him as he is the best centre half at the club if not the league, however I think his heart is away with PC and that’s how he seems disinterested in playing.

The boy needs a chance. 5 mins a week proves nothing. A run of games before end of season will let us see what he can do and if he does not meet the demand at least he has been out there for others to see and stop him losing value on the bench. I saw his reaction when morales scored. He was stood in the box fist pumping and genuinely had emotion to be winning. Broken nose and all he fought last night against a team of animals.

McLaren is so good none of the numerous English sides that are or were recently managerless have appointed him or publicly shown interest through media sources.

I have no idea who the answer is to provide all the solutions to our inadequacies, however if GM can keep us winning in the mean time a higher league position with a fighting chance of title 55 then the list will surely grow on DK table.
