Oh bears look, they're back on our pages, after the fright they got on friday afternoon, when steven gerrard was officially unveiled, as our new rangers manager! Didn't see any of you obsessed lot on here for days since stevie g was appointed! What was the matter bhoys? We were worried about yous! Do i smell fear?

2.) 08 May 2018 08:16:02
They are not only worried but totally sick that Gerrard is our new Manager. For some strange reason they thought he was one of them. Had a few of them on here saying he would never come to us and laughing about it but they now seem to be quiet.

3.) 08 May 2018 09:16:38
Supercooper don't you start jumping on this smell the fear nonsense. Again nobody asking questions on serious issues as to why 2 directors resigned oh wait they were being replaced by 2 rich buissnes men oh wait why should we tell anyone or they shall want a bigger transfer fee. There is no money coming in there is no fear all there is is more nonsense from king con.

2.) 04 May 2018 16:54:57
What is your lot's obsession with who's in charge and the religion, gies peace, go and enjoy your free samples that your champions league money bought you it's friday night .
Funny how so many people of a certain team suddenly think Gerrard is a terrible move lol

3.) 04 May 2018 17:23:54
Think you will find if you done your research, he is NOT a tim FACT

4.) 04 May 2018 17:25:31
And I thought we were the bigots!
Always remember that the best ever manager that you lot ever had was one of us.

5.) 04 May 2018 17:31:11
Billy D spot-on mate spot on

6.) 04 May 2018 18:39:38
Love it how whenever we are linked with or sign somebody that every Celtic fan starts looking for any possible link to say that the new appointment is a Celtic fan. Grow up

"Keep believing". although strangely i still believe you will beat us in the semi-final. law of averages

No we won’t

Lets all say what needs to be said. That looked like an old firm game. Which is what we all want to see. As soon as windass put the goal away (which was not a bad finish), i thought oh no. but Celtic just simply have better players. Even with a boyota doing mad stuff we won. But during that game i never thought we would pump you. Moraeles. everytime he got the ball he was badgering our defence, think at one point he nutmegged one of our players (might be wrong) . Last year no contest, this year a contest but class shone through. I hope Rangers and Celtic are at full strength for the semi, so the old bf butterflies come back. Didn't think Rangers were pish, but glad a few of the vocal got shut down. but the shoe on the other foot would i be any different. probably no. Its football guys! .

Refreshing to see a respectful post about the footballing side of things Bribhoy.

I'll not lie, I've only just calmed down today, was such a sore one to take, but the reason it was so hard to take is because like you said, for a change it was a contest, it could have went either way.

I feel the result ultimately came down to Celtic's experience, your manager knew what to do when you needed to hang in their, made the changes at the right time, our manager has done fantastically well but he's still learning and didn't change it at the right time. Still managed so much more in his 3 Old Firm games than the last two managers.

Looking forward to the semi final.

2.) 13 Mar 2018 13:27:07
Totally agree with Brib and BearMode, a great close game with small margins making the difference, the way it should be. Brenda got his tactics spot on when down to 10 men, and I'm sure Murty has learned from this and will make us stronger again.

3.) 13 Mar 2018 17:20:33
bribhoy, why did your old boy friends butterflies come back?

12 Mar 2018 07:30:46
At least it looked like an old firm match as opposed to a one sided affair. Too many gers supporters. uj. talking it up beforehand but tgats fitba. its the first match I've watched for a long time were i would if been glad of the draw. I actually think murty sets his team up well but runs out of ideas when not going his way. Hopefully we pump you in the semis but i wint take it for granted after that match.

Bribhoy

1.) 12 Mar 2018 07:59:45
A bit of a compliment thrown in there. The person I feel sorry for is Murty. Losing Bates and having to bring on Cardoso who hasn't played in ages was a blow and your main striker missing a sitter of note didn't help the game plan. We blew it yesterday and the chance of winning the league being lost might well fall heavily on Murty.

2.) 12 Mar 2018 08:06:37
We have more goals against than Aberdeen, Hibs and Hearts. Terrible defensive record.

3.) 12 Mar 2018 08:48:10
Wes seems to be getting it thick after yesterday.

It was obvious yesterday that Goss got caught up in it yesterday and was largely ineffective. He was caught getting shrugged off for 1st goal. This left the space for a cracking strike into the corner.

Goss tracked eduward back for 3rd and showed him inside for another great strike into the corner.

2nd goal is a 50yrd pass. Cardoso is caught wrong side. Wes is left to stick or twist.

I was disappointed in 2nd half yesterday. We never stepped up. Our central midfield was shown up and never got to grips with the game. That left Brown ncham and rognic to look comfortable.

Docherty did Ok, but Goss and windass missing toe to toe.

Morelos did well enough holding ball up, but let down with finishing.

I think if you want Cummings to start, you need a dorrans able to create through the middle.

Unfortunately yesterday has shown our deficiencies, which is still through the middle, showing why we still need dorrans, Jack and a mcrorie.

4.) 12 Mar 2018 08:58:37
Foderingham didn’t need to rush out like that at the 2nd goal in doing so he made up Dembeles mind to lob him. The defence has been poor all season and Murty hasn’t addressed it during the January transfer window. Cardoso has been as hapless as both Herrera and Pena and should be nowhere near the squad.

5.) 12 Mar 2018 11:22:04
I agree with most of that assessment Mols, Goss is young and he is a good player, hopefully he will learn from this game and come back stronger, Dorrans is bonus to be coming back, while nowhere near as mobile as Windass he would have been far more involved 2nd half yesterday.

They’re defence yesterday was all over the gaff and while ours was worse that is the first time we’ve took the game to them since the 2016 semi and I was pleased with the first 43mins.

What is clear is that we have improved and if we continue to do that our day will come, I certainly wouldn’t write off our chances off against them in the two games to come.

What is important now is that we get back on track against a very useful Killie side on Saturday and Cummings needs a run in the team in the lead up to the Semi.

6.) 12 Mar 2018 17:43:51
It will no doubt be another snap judgment by your board regarding murty at the end of the season. But look at the "experiments" they have tried before. I think he will go onto to be a great manager, only time will tell. And as much as a i would like as a celtic supporter to get 10iar i'd rather us being a force in europe. Crap gers will only mean a crap Celtic in europe. If we lost a section of our support would question rodgers. It indeed is a funny old game and without rivalry its nothing. People like uj spouting there mouth of about this and that although annoying adds spice to the mix. Looking forward to the butterflies before the semi, hopefully we win but if not then game on.
But its the first time in years these games have been what they are supposed to be roller coasters of emotion!

7.) 12 Mar 2018 17:40:15
@bribhoy - I said beforehand this was the first time in 2 years I’ve felt confident about getting a result. And we missed a great opportunity. But fair play to Celtic, they are the benchmark. Roll on the semi final.

As a tim that actually wants you to survive for the rivalry. that is the biggest crock ever and creates false hope. Rangers true future relies in actually backing your fan investment model and showing togetherness. I once walked past a local in deepest and i mean deepest darkest Indonesia with a rangers top on, 10 minutes later another one. Your a sleeping giant, stop feeding each other childish fantasies. Get it sorted and challenge us (Celtic) properly, that last match was a disgrace!

In all fairness Brown has owned Ibrox when he's been there. Maybe because it was his first love, but not his last;)

Ok. here as a Celtic fan and supporter. Without a strong rangers team to compete against then it becomes boring. Although i took great joy initially in winning everytime it now gets boring. It does nothing to forward any economical cause ie Europe for any team. I watched rangers dominate us in the laudrup/ amoruso era. and it was a bitter pill to swallow. But every Celtic team fought. every old firm game was a 50/ 50.because talent alone sometimes doesn't win these battles. For the first 45 minutes of the of game i thought they might sneak a goal here. the old of butterflies came back. Then second half. damage limitation. It does nothing for Scottish Football. irrespective of your leanings. Unlike a lot of my tim mates. i hope pedro doesn't stay. I always respected walter smith because even when you humped us he had a bit of quiet dignity about him. Not that he is the answer now. Expecting a bit of bitter backlash for my post. but hey that's the old firm. I have a lot of rangers friends (except on match days) . so seeing the likes of green and whyte stealing supporters money didn't fill me with joy either.
