Word from a contact is that Ross McCrorie has all but retreated into a shell as he feels he is now eighth choice for three midfield positions and doesn't know what to do to get a game anymore. I really hope he doesn't start thinking about leaving if he thinks his career has stalled with us.

1.) 06 Nov 2018 18:40:56
If he was good enough he would be playing, Gerrard sees him every day in training.

2.) 06 Nov 2018 19:43:43
If he has genuinely retreated into a shell due to not getting a game then he's is a meek little mouse who isn't cut out to be a rangers player. However, I don't believe it for a second.

3.) 06 Nov 2018 20:00:49
File under nonsense.

4.) 06 Nov 2018 21:22:15
The lad will knuckle down and work harder.

5.) 06 Nov 2018 21:47:42
Hopefully on bench Thursday, as rossiter not in EL squad.

6.) 08 Nov 2018 07:23:44
Burnbank 1, I speak to Ross at least twice a week. Your post is UTTER NONSENSE. Ross understands he is young still learning his trade and it's a long season with injuries and suspensions, he will get his chance hopefully. My one criticism of Gerrard is he doesn't rotate his squad enough after Thursday night European Games and we look leggy and one thing Ross and others would bring is energy. HE HAS NOT RETREATED INTO ANY SHELL thou I know that.

7.) 08 Nov 2018 23:06:18
I see rossiter in squad, did not know we had registered him for EL.

A friend in Hamburg says he has heard our club have been talking to Borussia Dortmund about the possibility of taking a striker called Alexander Isak on loan from January. He's a Swedish international and still a teenager, seemingly.

1.) 19 Oct 2018 10:54:26
Never seen him play, although he is a decent purchase on fifa 19 haha.

2.) 19 Oct 2018 12:27:24
Isak is supposedly rumoured to be the next Ibrahimovic, obviously still young and finding his feet but ‘could’ be a great signing. Even if it was just for a season loan, big strong, fast striker. They r hard to come by so would love to see him in a Gers kit.

3.) 19 Oct 2018 13:54:54
Would imagine the Sadiq loan would have to be cancelled in January for us to get another striker in. Although I’m sure I read somewhere that Gerrard said that’s wouldn’t happen.

4.) 19 Oct 2018 14:54:35
Bear why would we need to cancel Sadiq loan for us to get another striker in.

5.) 19 Oct 2018 15:24:46
I would be very surprised if sadiq is still here after january👍.

6.) 19 Oct 2018 16:03:20
From what the gaffer said today then there may be a chunk of light for Sadiq! Time will tell.

7.) 19 Oct 2018 17:41:59
Wouldn't know, BigYin, I'm far too old for computer games, but this appeared in a German magazine that a mate from Hamburg saw.

8.) 19 Oct 2018 19:00:29
Jboy because we already have sadiq who is (currently) contributing nothing. Can’t see the point in having two young strikers on loan. Where’s the incentive for the likes of Andy Dallas and other youth strikers if we’re just going to loan other teams youth players?

9.) 19 Oct 2018 21:02:57
If still in Europe and going for league we need a striker that contributes. Dallas no where near ready for first team.

19 May 2018 14:06:45
I'm led to believe we have made an enquiry for a lad called James Justin from Luton, who is being chased by both Brighton and Leeds. Seemingly he can play both full back positions and is only 19 or 20. Problem could be that Luton have already knocked back a £1m bid from Forest.

Been told Halliday is in team tomorrow at left back as Declan John has a broken wrist. That's all we need.

1.) 28 Apr 2018 22:12:09
Talk pish

2.) 28 Apr 2018 22:59:12
You are right

3.) 28 Apr 2018 23:05:31
Nah he is right, DJ is out! That’s all we need

4.) 29 Apr 2018 00:30:13
Rfc_Chris Its not pish as you put it, check for facts before you try and slate somebody for coming on here with true facts.

5.) 29 Apr 2018 00:41:38
rfc chris, that right, aye?

6.) 29 Apr 2018 00:44:37
That's a disaster if true

7.) 29 Apr 2018 03:32:17
I wouldn't say disaster. Haliday is a better left back than he is a central midfielder.

8.) 29 Apr 2018 07:58:27
Here we go again lads. Most of our minds are made up before Halliday has even kicked a ball. While I agree he’s not the greatest how’s about just for once actually getting behind all of the players and give them our full support.

9.) 29 Apr 2018 09:12:13
Halliday could probably do a job at left back, stick him in the middle of the park and he looks lost. stray passes etc. playing at left back might be good for him, we need to put them under pressure today, from Hallidays point of view, no daft passing inside from left back, play the long ball and get their defence turning and put them under pressure.

10.) 29 Apr 2018 11:07:54
We will miss John, it could have been worse, could have been Alnwick. Just need to get on with it

11.) 29 Apr 2018 11:29:29
If i could retract my comment from earlier. I was told john wanted to play on with a cast but murty said no and has put halliday in to make up for subbing him in the 42minute of last old firm.

Rumours in old Hamilton town this evening: Gerrard has been discussing things with Allen and was quite excited at the prospect of 'turning Rangers round'. Then he met King a couple of times and was shocked at the poor finances on offer to do the job, although, according to one director, he did not reject the notion. Now he has to weigh it up - is it a stepping stone to the Anfield hot seat or could it be the entrance to the managerial abyss? Put simply he's gone from hot to lukewarm in a week. Our problem is, if he now rejects us, every other candidate will know they weren't first choice which will see the better ones vanish off the radar.

1.) 27 Apr 2018 19:45:53
Don’t want him anyways

Kent and Lafferty did not travel to Moscow. Reports saying Kent will be out until after the international break at least.

1.) 07 Nov 2018 18:04:08
Out till Christmas with a hamstring problem I heard.

02 Nov 2018 13:39:36
Some of you on here really need to get a grip. The whining, the blame game, the frantic criticism of players and manager - do you think this is all something new? Just a quick look back today uncovered these facts:
In season 1989-90 we won just two of our first eight league games. We won the league. The next season we won just 5 of our first 11 league games - we won the league. The next season we won 7 out of 14 games between September and mid-November. We went three games without a win and everyone was calling it a crisis and demanding Walter Smith's head. It was his first full season as manager! We won the league by nine points and won the Scottish Cup. Players were also being hammered by fans and press alike during all of these early season dips in form but the team came good. These days, 'support' seems to swing between the extremes of hysterical when we win and suicidal when we lose, a situation brought about largely by social media. Stay calm and support the Rangers!

1.) 02 Nov 2018 19:15:03
@burnbank1 - that’s too sensible a post for on here in the current climate where a few like to analyse everything too death after a defeat / draw! 👍.

2.) 02 Nov 2018 20:10:37
We have had investment in the team and facilities, good recruitment of players, manager and backroom staff, and yet the dummy gets spit out at every glitch. We have played a lotta games this season with league, cup and europe, and are with few exceptions competing in every game. Sometimes I think what truly holds us back is a negative section of the support, we need to get right behind our club and urge them to glory, and enjoy the ride too! C'mon the Gers.

3.) 03 Nov 2018 07:33:19
Burnbank, when we won just two of our first eight games were the fans happy? No, you said yourself we were not so perhaps that fan reaction spurred them on and to concentrate on the job at hand.
Players of small clubs are happy with mid table and if they deliver that then escape criticism from their fans. That's not Rangers.
