Arfield has been an effective player for us however I am going to stick my neck out and say we need an upgrade on that sort of position to win this league. There are going to be a number of games where we just need that wee bit more quality in that position.

1st and foremost he's a centre mid. he's doesn't play at his best on the right. He just cannot get into the centre mid at the min which is our strongest area.

Team for Sunday will be interesting, given fatigue and injuries. I think we played with the formation change at Motherwell with an eye on this game, despite Stevie's denial. I assume Coulibaly won't be back and I can't see any changes from the team that started against Mwell, with Arfield and Kent benched.

Arfield must start on Sunday, in my opinion, provided he didn't pick up a knock. Jack, Arfield and Ejaria should be the fist three midfielders on the team sheet. Question is, who plays wide right and left? Choose from Candeias, Lafferty and Kent, though if Flanagan plays right back Tav would be pushed forward.

If it's the 10 german bombers song your talking about I've heard lots of fans singin it including northern ireland fans in France last summer and they were praised for there conduct! Funny when it's rangers fans there's fake uproar. It's strange how some people go out of there way to be offended by rangers fans.

As for the game, we have been caught out twice now with pace, Wilson was is lucky not to clear the first and couldn't keep up with Burke for the second.

Fitness:
We looked the fittest team in the country last season and now we look way below average. Does anyone know why? I could perhaps answer my own question: poor preseason, introducing older players, players carrying injuries (Wallace), complacency. Whatever it is we need to nip in bud.

Or just a step up in class of player is showing up the lack of quality fitness levels tacticall awareness as its fime playing against lower level players and part timers but week in week out playing against fully trained pro's is a different proposition. The squad and manager are struggling just now maybe the warburton project is failing.

For me we lack leaders, we have brought in some experienced pros but in our starting 11 we lack real steel people who will boss the game talk the younger guys through games, we've good players but on a whole the team is abit on the young side for me! In a typical starting line-up we've mibi miller and Barton and Wallace with any real experience! I think in this league with teams being physical we are abit naive!

Anyone know if Crooks will miss start of season with his injury? Also Joey missing this key part of pre season, suspect he will be our 60 min sub man this season.

Think it's likely Crooks will miss the start of the season as he is still recovering from an injury. As for Barton I don't think he is the type of player who wouldn't be happy being a 60 min man.

Barton will be fit, he looks after himself. Crooks and Kranjcar are not in full training but will be there or thereabouts by the league kick-off.

I have to disagree mate. I can't see a player of Barton's quality only playing for 30 minutes each week. I would assume that if he stays fit and plays well he will be a mainstay in that team. Only my opinion though.

As disappointed as I am, I am also hugely encouraged as I thought there was a big gulf in class between the two teams which I certainly didn’t expect. We were better than them all over the pitch except for their goal line!

Well done to the defence for another clean sheet against a very difficult opponent on a very difficult surface. I happen to think we have 4 very good centre halves and there’s little to choose between them. Helander was always going to struggle on a surface like that, I’m surprised he was selected.
