!

1.) 18 Aug 2016 16:08:23
left sided same as wilson, who do you play lads?

2.) 18 Aug 2016 16:33:43
I hope i'm wrong about lescott I really do I hope he comes up here and strolls it.

3.) 18 Aug 2016 16:58:47
If you can get him lads well done, i can't see him dropping 25k a week tho, the guy is a merc, this is a guy that posted a pic of his new car hours after his boyhood team were relegated, if you get him kudos toMW.

4.) 18 Aug 2016 17:03:54
Senderos and Lescott with Tav and Wallace on the flanks, Barton, Rossiter and Crooks and then any three from six, Forrester, McKay, MOH, Garner, Windass and Waghorn. With Holt as backup for the defensive midfield positions and Wilson and Kiernan learning from the two International Centre Backs it is looking very good for us!

5.) 18 Aug 2016 17:04:08
Would rather Senderos but looks as if Lescott is a cert now. I hope he feels as if he's got something to prove up here and finds some form!

6.) 18 Aug 2016 17:30:36
Villa have agreed to pay him the years wages to leave so don't think he will mind dropping wages for a year at rangers. If he signs for a epl team he will only be backup. Rangers will give him game time and a chance to win something.

7.) 18 Aug 2016 17:48:17
You haven't even seen Crooks kick a ball yet and he's strolled into your starting XI? My word.

8.) 18 Aug 2016 17:50:18
Lescott everyday of the week b4 wilson for me.

9.) 18 Aug 2016 19:18:47
My biggest concern isn't whether lescott is good enough it's MW belief that Kiernan is a decent player. He's rank rotten in my opinion but then so many Rangers managers have had a weak spot for a player most fans think are rotten.

10.) 18 Aug 2016 19:30:23
Senderos is getting sent packing because lescot is coming they are saying on the radio.

11.) 18 Aug 2016 20:52:25
I don't understand when people say you can't have to left footed CBs. How many teams have two right footed CBs?! It doesn't make a difference as long as they can defend. I think Wilson has to be chosen before Keirnan everyday since he has shown in the past he can play at a high level, I think he just needs someone with experience alongside him. He hasn't just turned into a bad player overnight. I also watched MWs press conference earlier and he only had great things to say about Senderos with his fitness levels and technical ability. In my opinion he would've been a better choice than Lescott since he is 3 years younger as well but hopefully Lescott bucks up his ideas and proves me wrong.

12.) 18 Aug 2016 21:04:44
Spot on Mark pren. i remember big eck use to always play namouchi in the big games for some reason and he was nightmare.

13.) 18 Aug 2016 21:43:37
Bluedie, Namouchi there is a player I had forgotten all about. Thought he was really tidy and underrated. Just checked and looks like he still playing and in Bulgaria.

14.) 18 Aug 2016 22:32:52
I'd play whoever can win a header. We lose so many goals from set piece headers it's shocking. I hope we get senderos aswell.

15.) 18 Aug 2016 22:42:02
All our four CB are left footed although kiernen has ok right. Still not ideal though.

08 Aug 2016 23:53:14
Adam Armstrong has been linked with a move to Rangers.
Scored 20 goals in 40 games last season. Can't see the fat controller allowing this to happen!

1.) 09 Aug 2016 09:48:24
Don't think we will be doing any buisness with Newcastle some how lol.

2.) 09 Aug 2016 09:55:40
It is not a rumour - it is a suggestion from another web page company trying to get you to visit their page and stumble on one of their adverts - sound familiar?

TBBaB.

3.) 09 Aug 2016 10:50:16
From a mate who is in the know at nufc "he's rapid, class In one on ones and a beast finisher, he's your working class chicharito" no confirmation if there is interest though.

4.) 09 Aug 2016 10:55:57
He's not the type of player we need.

5.) 09 Aug 2016 11:33:37
Bear, it is on back page of the S*n.

6.) 09 Aug 2016 12:15:44
Armstrong would be an absolute star at rangers! I have no doubt about that but he's very highly regarded at Newcastle so can't see it happening.

7.) 09 Aug 2016 12:15:44

9.) 09 Aug 2016 12:43:44
Benitez has told him he'll be 4th or 5th choice striker and would like him to go out on loan. but he turned down loan to another championship side last week.

10.) 09 Aug 2016 12:46:40
STV reporting it so its not just a suggestion, its a loan deal for cover anyway not permanent. I guess we need to see how long waggy is out for to see if its a good move.

11.) 09 Aug 2016 13:24:48
Craig 1972?

you having a giraffe?

Lol we all know if it is in the S*n it must be factual 😉.

13.) 09 Aug 2016 17:19:02
I would be amazed if we did business with Newcastle!

14.) 10 Aug 2016 00:21:52
My mate was told this by mcparlands agent 6 weeks ago at the london casino where he works.

15.) 10 Aug 2016 09:20:34
What does McParland need an agent for?

16.) 10 Aug 2016 10:22:12
Warburton saying its not going to happen he is not interested in him.

17.) 09 Aug 2016 08:53:43
Just can't see Ashley allowing this at all.

Have heard that Durrant has left the Club. Contract not been renewed.

Craig1972

1.) 12 May 2016 11:07:56
Hope so, can't believe he's kept his job for this long I'm sure MW will have somebody better qualified in mind.

2.) 12 May 2016 11:10:36
Unsurprising when you look at the u20 results.

3.) 12 May 2016 11:18:41
Tbh i wouldn't have given him a new contract big changes needed at development level and i don't think durrant is the man for the job.

4.) 12 May 2016 11:41:15
Think he was on big money too, another jobs for the boys under last regime. Wish him well though, is Rangers through and through.

5.) 12 May 2016 11:27:05
We obviously forgotten how great a Gers player durranty was, a footballing wizard Imo, sad that some are happy to see him go.

6.) 12 May 2016 11:56:10
Totally agree with the above comments. The old "your a good rangers man, so you'll have a job with us for life" attitude will not wash with warbs.

7.) 12 May 2016 12:34:12
Hmmmmm, Rangers through and through but wasnt up to the job and we're sorry to see him go. Does this remind you of someone that some of us were too happy to see the back of but wasn't afforded the same courtesy as Durrant re legend status?

8.) 12 May 2016 13:31:02
what a football player maybe not quite up to the job though we have to get the best for our development. wish him all the best as he is a good rangers man but agree that we shouldn't hold on to sum1 that isn't doing well enough just because he is a legend. 9oh and mcoist always has and always will be a legend even if he isn't a great manager the guy stuck with us when no one else would and fought harder than anyone when they where talkin about stripping our titles) . rant over lol.

9.) 12 May 2016 13:55:12
think durrant'y should be wished good luck and thanks for everything.
fresh start and a good clear out is what the club needs from top to bottom.

10.) 12 May 2016 16:29:50
Rangers man yes
Legend yes
Great player yes
Coach nah no thanks
One of the old guard jobs for the boys yes
This story sounds familier

Thanks Ian always a Ranger never a football coach.

11.) 12 May 2016 20:11:12
You lot have clearly forget that every descent player from the under 20s was loaned out.

12.) 12 May 2016 20:50:04
Durrant has had his time at Rangers and it is time for him to move on, maybe even retire. He is a legend and was a superb player who could have been one of the best players that Scotland ever produced had it not been for Aberdeen. He has not done badly as a coach at Rangers despite the overall problems during his time at the club.

13.) 12 May 2016 23:07:20
Durranty has behaved impeccably throughout. Never on 850k a season. Put up with loads watched best lads disappear plenty would have been bitter or full of excuses kept his council good luck to him some people on here are all to quick to forget.

14.) 12 May 2016 23:23:05
Good luck to him if true, it's hard seeing your hero failing. What a player.

15.) 13 May 2016 00:20:01
Every decent player is out on loan learning the trade in a competitive environment against men. Durrant is playing 16 and 17 year old kids against 19 and 20 year old players.

16.) 12 May 2016 21:25:11
Bongo, how on earth would you know how good a coach Durrant is?
You can have no idea, I know, because I know. Ian, and I know he is very highly regarded as a coach, you have simply disregarded his skills, you know. Nothing about coaching professional football, so you should not be disrepting real football men, and especially not real Rangers legends.

17.) 13 May 2016 20:07:40
I've seen Durrant coaching - he's seen me coaching! He's a good quality coach who, at any time this season, has had the bulk of his players out on loan, depleting the side and therefore hampering continuity of selection and results (which are not the most important thing at this level) . Unfortunately he is seen by some as 'old school' and that alone means his time is probably up in favour of one or two 'modernisers'. Youth coaching is notoriously fickle, it changes like the wind, rather like the country's education system. Over the past 30 years or so we've gone through dozens of coaches at that level, depending who is in charge of the department. It's something we need settled for a long number of years or it will never get better. In spite of that, the real cream will always rise to the top.

BREAKING
Sky sources- Dundee's Greg Stewart is set to sign for Birmingham City today.

Thought we might have signed him. Hopefully we have someone else lined up, and a cb!

Craig1972

1.) 12 Aug 2016 13:36:42
I heard we did want him but wouldn't match Birmingham bid. Player definitely wanted to come.

Beginning to get scunnered by Rangers now! Gone is short, fast passing, high tempo game. I think we have too many League 1 players now. 7 of our starting line up tonight came from league 1, Windass was league 2! It is too much of a jump for many of these players, sadly. Need more quality players in our team. Probably at least 4. Centre half, creative midfielder, holding mid and a proper striker. But would cost 10-12m so not likely! Only my opinion, based on what I have seen so far this season. (And latter part of last season) .
