So one rumour is that management teams agent triggered resignation clause on monday for forest job, that fell through but the board accepted it anyway?

That appears to be my understanding of the situation at present too. If that is the case I respect the boards decision. Why have a management team in place that were or are exploring options to leave. We, the fans, deserve the same commitment as we have shown over the last few years.

Ive been on before supporting MW and saying there's a team in there somewhere, but ill freely admit i'm wrong. that's teams a shambles.
You can't have a progressing team getting pumped by a bang average hearts side. I think even the players must have lost a bit of faith in the management team as the resistance being put up is so weak. The defence is chronic and has no long term viability to improve, as hills approaching 40 and kiernan....i don't need to say anything. Tavarnier also makes alan hutton look like the worlds best defensive right back.
Where the hell do we go now. I can't imagine its cheap to get rid of the management team.

Reading that young jack harper, previously of real madrid and now at brighton, is to be offloaded in january as he wants first team game time. Potential january signing for the bears? Boy has tremendous technique, end product not so much, which was the issue with scotland u21s. Thoughts?

If he can't get into brighton team what makes you think he's good enough to get in ours . the lad obviously isn't as good as he's made out to be.

You could argue that tav and waggy weren't good enough for wigan but they've came on to a game. Think if its developing players with potential then the boy might be worth a look at.

Harper may actually be worth a punt, he must have talent otherwise real Madrid wouldn't have touched him, I think he maybe beleived his own hype tho and expected to walk into the Brighton team, warbs is great with these type of guys as we know so Craig ye I'm with u on this 1! I reckon he is definitely worth the punt, only problem being is I think he plays in a number 10 role behind the striker which we don't actually play and we know wars won't change that tactic for any1.

First time poster folks.
Like this page, but really surprised sometimes by the negativity that can come up towards warburton and the team currently. Totally unchartered waters this season for the club after coming up from D3, and trying to come to terms with a higher standard of football.
I genuinely believe there's a decent team in that squad somewhere, there is some good youth that needs time to develop, bed in, and needs supported at home. Once the first round of spl games are done will be a better indicator of where we are. I think we'll still definitely finish second this year, the club has the resources to expect that, ill be supporting the team as best i can to that end.

Why would leave a club that gets 55000 at every home game, that's going straight back to a league where they are guaranteed about 150 million, to come and manage us currently?

Not understanding the few people on here quoting a mcleish return. He inherited a great squad last time around, spent another 15 million before some hefty bosman wages on some big players, and a whole ton of non entities. He also suffered a few MW issues himself when it came to favourites (namouchi) .
This squads about 20 times worse than when he was in charge, i doubt he'd be the man to rescue and restore to former glories.

Agree 100%. Nemeth would be a great signing. People seem to think the standard of the spfl is higher than it actually is, nemeth would do a job
Whilst we are on strikers, Matt Derbyshire out in Cyprus hit way more than 20 goals this year after leaving Rotherham on 7k a week. Before anyone slates the Cypriot league, it's got a better coefficient than spl and the teams regularly outperform our own in Europe.
