Reports of the impending collapse of Ibrox Stadium have been greatly exaggerated. Quelle surprise!

A red top rag of a newspaper is stoking the fire with all this cr*p about hard hats.

I wish Rangers would just come out with a short statement giving the true facts to stick two fingers up at all the Rangers haters.

2.) 14 Dec 2016 18:12:34
Not an original bone in their bodies.

We did the hard hat joke a while back at Parkhead after a cup game against ICT was postponed because part of their roof fell off.

3.) 14 Dec 2016 18:17:58
if i'm going to a game i like yourself would like a statement, if i'm not mistaken it happened last yr when you were playing at ibrox, maybe that's where the story originates from, have you read something about it Cullin as i would be interested in your info plz.

4.) 14 Dec 2016 18:55:50
Bhoywonder it's worrying your support more as Ibrox is sold out most weeks.

Best advice, if it's making you a little precious don't go.

5.) 14 Dec 2016 19:05:27
why am i worried your sold out PB? makes no difference to me, but a story that's went on for yrs that no one has addressed worries me. i don't go to old firm games as they bring out the muppet element of the support and i tend to stay away from all that bull tbh . honestly think if there's nothing to it why not release a statement to say so, would that not be the best thing?

6.) 14 Dec 2016 21:50:42
There was an incident last season, where some 'debris' was shown hanging off during a live game. Ibrox received a safety certificate for the current season. If there is to be safety netting installed, this would be as a precautionary measure. This is a lot different to stating that the stadium is 'unsafe'. As stated before, the stadium would not be allowed to host any games if deemed unsafe, that should be common sense. Someone, somewhere has made the decision that games are allowed to be held at Ibrox.

7.) 14 Dec 2016 22:29:22
5 star UEFA rated stadium. Might be needing some tlc but it's built of solid construction not rattled up like an unfinished meccano set.

8.) 15 Dec 2016 09:12:21
Listen guys you are all taking this stadium issue the wrong way. Celtic fans are not used to such luxuries as covered stadiums. Was not that long ago Parkhead has severely limited covers of any description. In fact their chairman at the time said his supporters preferred to stand in the wind and rain. As most of their supporters are paralysed from the neck up they did not seem to notice. So to summarise the issue they are still unsure of the concept of covered areas at football stadiums and don't know how to react.

9.) 15 Dec 2016 16:21:22
The rain and wind was their idea of a wash and dry, pmsl.

10.) 16 Dec 2016 10:38:42
Must be difficult for the Eastenders when their stadium was most likely built with Glasgow District council 'left overs'

11.) 16 Dec 2016 13:36:05
We all know the district council wear green lol.

12.) 16 Dec 2016 19:20:41
Left overs, now there's a pun Tomusa, something your club and the rest of the premiership are to Celtic, our left overs. Our Stadium is in fine nick thanks mate. When you look at both, Celtic Park is vibrant and Glowing, like our Club. Ibrox looks like a run down auld tenement block in the 1950s, manky lookin, depressing, needs knockin down. Our Club thrives in your Clubs lies.

13.) 16 Dec 2016 08:17:14
Breezeblock boulevard was without doubt thrown up and you can visually see that when you're inside the place! Everyone and their granny knows it was built far too fast! By far ibrox stadium was built with MUCH better quality than celtic park! Granted our stadium needs renovated but like the OP said our stadium construction is far superior to theirs and nobody will convince me otherwise!

14.) 19 Dec 2016 10:22:10
My stadiums better than your stadium and my dad can also batter your dad pmsl.

Good professional performance today, Hearts very negative for a semi final. Morelos keeps banging the goals in, all good.

Was McGregor as much a twit the first time round? Why does he have to act like that? Far too often, get a grip ya clown.

Cuillin72

1.) 05 May 2019 17:55:47
McGregor, what a -wat, what goes through his head, a complete idiot. Very flat game, Steve Davis back to his best.

2.) 05 May 2019 21:41:45
and yes he was a twit first time round. seemed to be unable not to resist the wee flick out at someone. difference was last time out he didn't have a compliance officer like we do now or he would have been up at hampden every second week.

03 Mar 2019 15:47:02
What a terrible game to watch, the sheep are murder. Anyone who pays to watch them regularly must be demented. 7 games against them is hard going.

Cuillin72

1.) 03 Mar 2019 15:56:15
Say what you mean 72 😂.

2.) 03 Mar 2019 16:10:31
It wasn't a particularly good performance from us today and we just didn't look up, for the physical battle of aberdeen, who would be better suited to playing rugby! Having said that, we should be up for these physical battles! You have to win the battle to give you the right, with the better players we have, to then go on and win the game!
Another thing here guys and i have said this before on here. What is borna barisic offering us? Absolutely nothing and i honestly don't think his heart is in it! He's not up for these type of battles. He was the worst player for us today again! He was like invisible man and offered absolute nothing! Play halliday in there from now 'till the end of the season! He offers more and has much more heart than barisic! I truly think we need to sign a new left back this summer, who can cope with the physical side of scottish football, as well as being a good footballer!

3.) 03 Mar 2019 16:13:55
Cuillin

We have only beat them once and it was them who had the better chances today so what does that say about us?

4.) 03 Mar 2019 16:28:31
Sorry mate but your favourite, Ryan Jack was the worst player on the park today. Loads of mistakes and that's if i am only talking about after you realised he was even playing.

5.) 03 Mar 2019 17:07:01
You can't blame aberdeen's rough game or tactics for us being pi$h. You reek of desperation, wish we had half the bite they have. They should have pumped us today👍.

6.) 03 Mar 2019 17:08:49
Another replay cash in the, bank
That performance today and you see,
The, gap between Celtic and rangers.

7.) 03 Mar 2019 17:09:21
He was unusually poor today mate, i grant you! Having said that you can have an off day from time to time! He's my favourite you say? He should be your favourite too, just like all good rangers players when they're at it! Jack has been superb for us, under steven gerrard this season mate, so that's why i'll cut him some slack, on his poor performance today! It happens you know, snell!

8.) 03 Mar 2019 17:23:15
I thought Jack was worst player closely followed by Barisic who is totally hopeless. Dreadful defender who doesn’t seem to be able to do the basics.

9.) 03 Mar 2019 17:35:21
I actually agree with most of what you say there coldo. I did say that we couldn't match aberdeen's physicality and aberdeen on chances probably should have won! I'm really hoping now, that was aberdeen's chance and we now go on and win the replay. I expect us to now win the replay.

10.) 03 Mar 2019 17:39:25
Generally we were poor today with several players off form. Having said that, we got a draw and a replay at Ibrox so no disaster. A year ago we would have lost that type of game.

11.) 03 Mar 2019 17:53:37
Agree with super, barisc is a waste of a Jersey, looks weak, always needs a touch and doesn’t do the simple overlap enough . I would want Halliday all day long in a battle like today . SG knew today would be a battle hence Davis not in the squad.

12.) 03 Mar 2019 18:16:32
Don't think Jack has anything to prove. He has been immense over the past few games. As Coops says sometimes it doesn't go for you and this was one of those games. Another one who can't win. When he plays great we hear nothing but heaven help him if he has a bad game. The naysayers want to string him up. And bo, i don't agree that that shower should have pumped us. We had better chances imo. Not a disaster though as we'll get another gate and win the replay.

Good performance today. Normally I would want Hamilton to be relegated this year due to their pitch but we have scored 9 in last two visits. I know not all 3g pitches are the same but their seems to be a big difference between Hamilton and Killie. The players looked comfortable on the surface today. Hopefully another good performance on Wed to set us up for the lambs at the weekend.

Looks like Aberdeen struggle when they don't go 10-0-0 formation.

Spot on Cuill, same with most other teams that play us.

Paul, the way forward is finding these players and getting them early. Surely the days of spending money with no chance of recoup are in the past. I would certainly hope so.

He has to improve a lot before a bottom third Prem club would look at him. Over rated, Championship level at best which is a higher level than currently playing. Said before though, would be glad if some team wants to overpay for him.

He was a liability last season. To say otherwise would be silly. There probably were occasions when it seemed better to get rid as he was costing us points by not doing what he is employed to do, namely perform ON the pitch.

Huge difference this season which is welcomed. Perhaps the 'lovers' didn't mind his petty behaviour and thought it ok that he was suspended.

Major improvement this season and long may it continue.

Calm down, we still have to qualify. Been in this situation before and blown it, hopefully this time we get over the line.

I haven't been to a lot of European games but was at the Parma game and atmosphere was brilliant. Winning league in 2003 was pretty special too.
