Reports of the impending collapse of Ibrox Stadium have been greatly exaggerated. Quelle surprise!

1.) 14 Dec 2016 17:48:33
A red top rag of a newspaper is stoking the fire with all this cr*p about hard hats.

I wish Rangers would just come out with a short statement giving the true facts to stick two fingers up at all the Rangers haters.

2.) 14 Dec 2016 18:12:34
Not an original bone in their bodies.

We did the hard hat joke a while back at Parkhead after a cup game against ICT was postponed because part of their roof fell off.

3.) 14 Dec 2016 18:17:58
if i'm going to a game i like yourself would like a statement, if i'm not mistaken it happened last yr when you were playing at ibrox, maybe that's where the story originates from, have you read something about it Cullin as i would be interested in your info plz.

4.) 14 Dec 2016 18:55:50
Bhoywonder it's worrying your support more as Ibrox is sold out most weeks.

Best advice, if it's making you a little precious don't go.

5.) 14 Dec 2016 19:05:27
why am i worried your sold out PB? makes no difference to me, but a story that's went on for yrs that no one has addressed worries me. i don't go to old firm games as they bring out the muppet element of the support and i tend to stay away from all that bull tbh . honestly think if there's nothing to it why not release a statement to say so, would that not be the best thing?

6.) 14 Dec 2016 21:50:42
There was an incident last season, where some 'debris' was shown hanging off during a live game. Ibrox received a safety certificate for the current season. If there is to be safety netting installed, this would be as a precautionary measure. This is a lot different to stating that the stadium is 'unsafe'. As stated before, the stadium would not be allowed to host any games if deemed unsafe, that should be common sense. Someone, somewhere has made the decision that games are allowed to be held at Ibrox.

7.) 14 Dec 2016 22:29:22
5 star UEFA rated stadium. Might be needing some tlc but it's built of solid construction not rattled up like an unfinished meccano set.

8.) 15 Dec 2016 09:12:21
Listen guys you are all taking this stadium issue the wrong way. Celtic fans are not used to such luxuries as covered stadiums. Was not that long ago Parkhead has severely limited covers of any description. In fact their chairman at the time said his supporters preferred to stand in the wind and rain. As most of their supporters are paralysed from the neck up they did not seem to notice. So to summarise the issue they are still unsure of the concept of covered areas at football stadiums and don't know how to react.

9.) 15 Dec 2016 16:21:22
The rain and wind was their idea of a wash and dry, pmsl.

10.) 16 Dec 2016 10:38:42
Must be difficult for the Eastenders when their stadium was most likely built with Glasgow District council 'left overs'

11.) 16 Dec 2016 13:36:05
We all know the district council wear green lol.

12.) 16 Dec 2016 19:20:41
Left overs, now there's a pun Tomusa, something your club and the rest of the premiership are to Celtic, our left overs. Our Stadium is in fine nick thanks mate. When you look at both, Celtic Park is vibrant and Glowing, like our Club. Ibrox looks like a run down auld tenement block in the 1950s, manky lookin, depressing, needs knockin down. Our Club thrives in your Clubs lies.

13.) 16 Dec 2016 08:17:14
Breezeblock boulevard was without doubt thrown up and you can visually see that when you're inside the place! Everyone and their granny knows it was built far too fast! By far ibrox stadium was built with MUCH better quality than celtic park! Granted our stadium needs renovated but like the OP said our stadium construction is far superior to theirs and nobody will convince me otherwise!

14.) 19 Dec 2016 10:22:10
My stadiums better than your stadium and my dad can also batter your dad pmsl.

Ed, is there any chance we could have a Bhampot specific page on here. I just don't think his opinions are given the respect they deserve. A heading of 'Bhampot's Views' would suffice.

1.) 05 Jan 2017 09:46:02
With a page to follow.

Cullins naive rebuttals.

2.) 05 Jan 2017 10:21:54
I'd be up for that, but who the hell is Cullin?

3.) 05 Jan 2017 11:02:29
He not the vampire from twilight.

4.) 05 Jan 2017 12:47:33
You couldn't afford me😆. In my view 🤔.

5.) 05 Jan 2017 13:30:23
Crackpot is a bit of an enigma.

Most of the time just on here looking for a cheap rise but I've also seen some well thought and insightful posts from them.

I look forward to more of the later.

6.) 05 Jan 2017 15:38:36
Dawson, you spelled "enema" wrong!

7.) 05 Jan 2017 16:12:10
Och wind ups are just to get a cheeky wee bite, nothing in them. But as you say dawson, i try to be serious now and again, they posts are the ones that are genuine. I mean no harm, some folk just take the bait and some just join in, its all fair doos.

8.) 05 Jan 2017 16:42:13
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't susceptible to the odd bit of bait but I'll praise a good post when I see one regardless of which side of the Old Firm divide the poster's loyalties lay.

9.) 05 Jan 2017 18:16:11
As do i sir. We can all bite too, even with our own clubs fans. A good post is a good post. Most usually know when the wind ups are startin.

17 Sep 2016 18:03:46
Really missed Barton today, he would have made all the difference.

1.) 17 Sep 2016 18:21:37
Being facetious of course.

15 Sep 2016 19:01:37
Barton been a bad boy, hopefully it was really serious and we can get shot of him. Maybe Kiernan will go mental at training one day, we can but hope.

1.) 15 Sep 2016 19:33:44
Haha then Clint Hill closely following, on the plus not means we can play rossiter warburton can't justify a reason to play him anymore.

2.) 15 Sep 2016 20:23:25
wow. who in their right mind would want to join a club with fans like u.

3.) 15 Sep 2016 19:53:35
So much for Joey and Kranjcar strolling the SPL guys. Now it's erm aye a said he was cap etc 20 grand a week for 2 years! DK better come up with a quick fix scam to raise capital as there can't be any equity left (He's based the whole business plan on a share issue that could be years away! )

4.) 15 Sep 2016 21:04:53
Only having a joke lightin up.

5.) 15 Sep 2016 21:44:27
Loki seems to miss it every time, oh well.

6.) 15 Sep 2016 21:46:55
Barton will be back on twitter to tell us he only joined Rangers to cause unrest as he supports the smaller club/ company in Glasgow. He would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those meddling kids.

7.) 15 Sep 2016 22:16:28
Cumlin. the wheels are appearing to be falling off. signing barton and krancjir on 2 year deals for approx 20k pw each. this decision will cripple your club unless mr KING opens his wallet and we both know that it won't happen.

8.) 15 Sep 2016 22:27:16
Anyway Barton situation. Termination of contract? No pay due to misconduct? That could be a possibility.

10 Sep 2016 14:56:08
The scary thing is, how many would The Imps have put past us today?

1.) 10 Sep 2016 16:35:56
You'd need to be in Europe to have such concerns. Don't worry yourself.

2.) 10 Sep 2016 17:35:29
Yep your right but Europe could be your embarrassment just like today was for us.

3.) 10 Sep 2016 21:52:13
Seriously? That's the response?

Okay you win.

17 Aug 2016 10:19:18
Advocaat is the new manager at Fenerbache. Hopefully he can convince his new club to spend £10-12m on one or two of our players. Wilson and Kiernan are surely worth that.

1.) 17 Aug 2016 10:41:47
Maybe he can persuade Van Persie to come?

2.) 17 Aug 2016 10:54:48
Every single penney!

It's just the Celtic way, trying to put undue pressure on the refs, in order to get any advantage they can. They are just getting their excuses in early in case their world beating team doesn't win.

Thats the republican way though. Everyone can see it for what it is, but they like to play on it. The victim card always. They will, of course, never admit it when it goes in their favour. I actually thought County had signed Petrov.

Have to disagree, he should be one of the first out the door. I think he has very little to offer, maybe sliding in late.

Let's hope qualifying for the Europa League and finishing in top 4 is not the level of our ambition. Can anyone confirm whether we are eligible to play in Europe, due to financial matters? The assumption is we will be, but don't we require special dispensation due to the financial fair play rule?

My point is wait and see the full story before judging, quite simple really. It was pretty obvious.
