What's happened to Cordosa? Only Dalcio Garcia confirmed! Is there a story?

Dunbar Blue

1.) 06 Jun 2017 22:08:01
Don't know about the exact rules over this but maybe we could announce Dalcio as he's a loan whereas we are buying Cardoso, Pena&Herrera (when they have work permits approved) so maybe we can't officially sign them till the Scottish transfer window opens on Friday? Maybe you can help us on this one ed?

{Ed039's Note - Cardozo doesn't need a work permit, he is Portuguese)

2.) 06 Jun 2017 22:52:56
Can't sign any players attached to other clubs and involving a fee, until 9th June. This is when transfer window officially opens.

3.) 06 Jun 2017 23:35:36
If we can't announce signings of players which include a fee then how did we announce Bruno? I might be missing something. Apparently work permit hearing for Herrera and Pena is tomorrow and hopefully Cardoso is announced by Friday.

4.) 07 Jun 2017 00:06:22
Can't see that being the case as we signed alves and announced it when a fee was involved. would think tomorrow or Thursday had 3 medical to do so a lot of work

5.) 07 Jun 2017 00:14:40
Dalcio's terms etc would have been sorted out before he even left Portugal as he's a loan deal.
Cardoso will still be working out the details of his contract. Does anyone know how long the contract is for plus good to see us bringing in players that we have a chance to sell on at a bigger fee

6.) 07 Jun 2017 00:18:07
So how did we sign alves then he was attached with a fee involved?

7.) 07 Jun 2017 06:31:41
Alves negotiated his release

8.) 07 Jun 2017 06:34:44
That's why Cagliari released a statement prior to Alves thing which said he'd been released. It's not mentioned a fee anywhere apart from in the media. Honestly do some not realise after all this time how transfer window works? I'll guarantee signing announcements are made on or after friday the 9th June.

9.) 07 Jun 2017 07:56:58
Hence why I said in my post I must have missed something regarding Alves.

Another person has just asked if another Mexican who has been linked requires a work Permit. If you are a non EU national and come to this country to work you require a visa to do so (work permit) . After Brexit when freedom of movement stops all foreign players coming to play in Britain will require a work permit (visa)

10.) 07 Jun 2017 10:12:38
3 years Cardoso

11.) 07 Jun 2017 11:55:04
Alrus blue cardoso has just signed there was a fee involved and he was attached and it's not the 9th yet so how that work? I can't Believe how people don't know how this transfer window works 😂

{Ed039's Note - you can do a deal but the registration isn't transferred until the transfer window opens)

12.) 07 Jun 2017 12:08:48
Thanks for the clarification ed. So he has signed but it's not fully complete as the registration has not been filed. Smacked arse for me eh Deano. Hardly!

13.) 07 Jun 2017 15:51:46
Cardosa deal off, player asked for more time and asses his options.

14.) 07 Jun 2017 16:11:16
we can sign who we want and we can announce anyone we want before the window opens but their contracts don't actually start until then.

15.) 07 Jun 2017 16:19:35
Don't worry Alrus we will all learn how it works one day 😂

Was at the game today again and the difference in the teams attitude, application, tempo, energy and quality compared to last Wednesday against Aberdeen was there for all to see. Not good enough. Ok Ryan Jack was out but that's nothing to do with carrying out the above fundamentals. So disappointing. The positives are we for the points. Young guys were both good and we Hold was like a Duracell battery and never stopped. Our top man today. Players have to take responsibility. By the way, thought our warm up was slack, finishing was terrible and we took that slack tempo into the game. Must do better.

Mate I can tell by your grammar you're a bit worse for wear so I won't pick too much into your comment here but put the sherry down before you make anymore posts like this as it's taken all my strength not to rip the ar5e out you! One thing I shall say is you thought our warm up was slack 😂 Jeez fella this has got to be up there with the most outrageous post this year!

2.) 10 Dec 2017 09:21:41
Blackwood Bear, sorry about the spelling, I'm usually quite good at that 😁. I will try again. I thought the tempo and the quality of the warm up was slack! (I think it matters or why bother) We then started the game in the same manner, slow tempo, no pressing, complete opposite of the two Aberdeen games where we were on the front foot from the start. The finishing at the cross and finish drill was terrible (Don't think Kenny scored yet) and we took that into the game. Young Mcrorie and Barjonas done well and Holt was my man if match. It's only my opinion Blackwood Bear but I don't really think I have said anything that's made you want to slaughter me, apart from my spelling which I have taken the learning from😃All the best Dunbar Blue

3.) 10 Dec 2017 09:46:36
Agreed. Shoddy performance - slow, lacking drive and imagination with Windass reverting to his 2nd half anonymity, matching Pena's 1st half.

A win's a win, however.

4.) 10 Dec 2017 09:52:36
dunbar blue, i 100% agree with your view on the warm up today it was so lacklustre and you take that into the game with you.

5.) 10 Dec 2017 10:04:56
Dunbar blue, your post is all sacre bleu, people like you are never happy, yes not a great 'tika taka' performance but under the present criteria take that all day long. ps are you Pedro’s warm up guy that used to perform flash dance pre match.

6.) 10 Dec 2017 11:07:37
People like me! For **** sake I want the team playing like they did against Aberdeen. On the front foot, high tempo, controlled aggression where do I stop? I am happy with that. I'm no happy with a slow cannae be bothered attitude that we had in the first half. Certainly no happy about not getting prepared properly. Nothing wrong with the set up of the warm up it was just the way the players were slack. I am actually easily pleased and 100% commitment does me.

Got to say, Barry Ferguson has covered exactly how I feel in his piece in the paper this morning. I like him need some news on what's really happening be it good or bad. Getting disappointed and disillusioned .

Dunbar Blue

1.) 24 Nov 2017 12:26:24
us fans are being left in the dark too much and its not a good way to get treated off the board i'd like to see rangers board coming out and saying we can't afford such and such or we are in talks with such and such just to give us an idea, not good to be left in the dark

2.) 24 Nov 2017 13:44:42
I couldn’t agree more with everything Barry Ferguson says in his article today.

I am totally disillusioned at how things are at our club.

Not being able to win 3 games in a row this year shows how low standards have got.

05 Nov 2017 10:49:53
See West Ham are not in talks with Derek McInnes! Sorry guys just being mischievous 😊.

Dunbar Blue

02 Nov 2017 22:42:30
It's Moyes for me. Proven Manager in English premier League and also managed in top european league. Sir Alex didn't pick him for nothing. Much as Derek McInnes would be ok. Moyes is higher profile and also he is out of work. We can use the 1.5 million for new players. Before anyone comes on greeting about what has Moyes done. Just ask the same question about Brendan Rodgers.

Dunbar Blue

1.) 03 Nov 2017 06:18:01
Dunbar blue, the compensation is 800k for both derek mcinnes and his assistant tony docherty, its not 1.5million quid that some media outlets want you to believe!

2.) 03 Nov 2017 10:15:32
Moyes lol no!

3.) 05 Nov 2017 09:35:05
Why are some people desperate to assimilate any potential new managers' previous exploits to those of BR? Surely this is illogical! Different club, different person, different circumstances. Give Derek the job and let him get on with it!

4.) 05 Nov 2017 09:37:36
amazing - some people don't want Moyes, from a Rangers family, but would take Tony Doherty as assistant manager! Beggars belief!

Anybody know what's happened to Beerman? Seems that Jordan Thompson is being trained up for left back. Could be he is better than Beerman but just seems a bit strange. Any thoughts?

Dunbar Blue

1.) 27 Jul 2017 05:53:13
They're away on a competitive u20 tournament, the likes of Barjones, Atakayi etc are all there too, a few have stayed here to train with the seniors as Pedo chose what was the best option for each youngster. I'm guessing as we've already a left-back in the tournament he's stayed home to be around Alves and co rather than sit on the bench there.

2.) 27 Jul 2017 06:26:29
Thanks matt_rfc.

3.) 27 Jul 2017 11:47:55
Jordan Thompson is a player I thought would be given a chance under Warburton. I seen him play for a spell in the first friendly against Burnley and he looked technically sound for his age. Would have had him in Hallidays role over the next 2 years. He would probably be worth a fortune now. Talking of Halliday, surely he isn't playing DM for that Gabala mob? I hear he is doing well. Probably playing LM where he's suppose to play right enough.

4.) 27 Jul 2017 22:35:18
@Nassau_Bear according to reports Andy Halliday played CM tonight against Panathanaikos

5.) 28 Jul 2017 10:39:44
Read an article on ibrox noise 're Beerman situation. Seems to pretty much over "my question " above. It was only a question about does anyone know what's the thinking 're Beerman! Beats me why there are 9 disagrees to a simple question! Or am I missing something? Thanks matt_rfc for your reply. Ibrox noise pretty much asking and and answering the same question.

Why did you pick KT. He's not even took a session yet with the under 13's and you have got him a future manager. What about all the other youth coaches that have been doing this for years? Billy Kirkwood for example. What about our Captain who trains a senior team in his spare time! Not saying KT won't go on to be a top man but he has just started and think you may be jumping the gun a little early.

Got to say Ronnie, that all the information we get out of the academy is always if a positive nature and it seems very professional. Maybe we are going about the Rangers revival from the bottom up. Also for Kfraser maybe our new scouting system is already starting to pay of and the laddie from Fleetwood maybe a gem. Very positive I feel.

Well done the club for getting their man but I understand fully and agree with the guys who are questioning why we haven't got walker at £300 000 or Indeed the young guy from St mirren at similar money. They would have improved our squad and have potential to sell on at a profit when we produced some others from our academy. It shows that we don't have the money. Which is fair enough but just disappointing. I personally, like a lot of others have tried to help by my season ticket, bought shares and bought everything with Rangers fighting fund etc. Because I could and wanted to help. But you get disappointed.

I know it was only Ayr United and no disrespect intended but we had some really good performers out there. Tavanier, Murphy, Docherty, Morelos, Windass but the pick for me was Goss.
If we could get that lad signed up permanently what a result that would be.
We also have Wallace, Dorrans and Jack to come back in. The squad is looking stronger by the day.

I agree with TJBB and Cyber, it's not a hobby, it's a short career and you only get one chance at it. You make your money when you can as you are a long time retired.
I am disappointed that we have not got him tied up as he is a quality player and he was growing into a real leader. Nothing wrong with trying to get a good deal for yourself in my opinion, that's what second all do. If Rangers wanted him they would have made sure he was signing.

As I was trying to say yesterday, we should have been signing the good Scottish players for £300 000 each instead of letting them slip away to Wigan and Celtic. Was only my opinion but it seems it is Mr Murtys too as seen from his quote " Any time when you can identify talent and buy it cheap, bring it in, develop it and sell it high and put a sell-on clause in, it makes a good business model to me" . What is your comment on that SuperCooper?

Simplylovely, I agree. Big Nico was running as fast as he could! It's the other players job to get him the ball and he can then do the business. Team game and the boys were all at it. Happy New year to all my Rangers pals when it comes.
