No doubt in my mind that Rangers would have made Clarke aware of Jack's knee issue and even less doubt that his intention was to aggravate it by putting him through an 11k session so soon after a major match.
We cannot trust the Scotland set up with our players.

Ferintosh

1.) 12 Sep 2019 19:38:10
Ridiculous mate.

2.) 13 Sep 2019 07:01:53
I agree with Ferintosh that should be a lesson to any of players what the Scottish set up thinks of them clark especially the guy has not got a clue it’s embarrassing. They would only have booed him every time he touched the ball anyway which speaks for itself.

3.) 13 Sep 2019 13:27:52
Total paranoia, get a grip.

4.) 13 Sep 2019 13:57:22
Anyone disagreeing with my comments should acquaint themselves with the comments from SG aimed specifically at Clarke.

5.) 13 Sep 2019 14:31:20
Anything associated with the SFA is amateur hour, including coaching - i would be apprehensive about sending any of our players to work with a guy who doesn't even realise the damaging nature of astroturf. They knew his knee was sore and sent him out on that run, no club would be so unprofessional as to risk a player's fitness in this way, especially as they had no intention of giving him a game. I can understand why people might think they had done this on purpose, but it is also combined with them being absolute muppets at the SFA.

6.) 13 Sep 2019 15:01:27
I don't subscribe to conspiracies but l really have my doubts and concerns about Clarke. I really like RJ and I'm sure he wants to play for his country. Staff are there to protect players from themselves. Wonder how Forrest or McG wouldve been treated.

7.) 13 Sep 2019 17:13:07
No Scotland’s fault jack is made of ****in glass so wit he played 90 mins before it we are only 4 games into the season.

8.) 13 Sep 2019 17:35:40
SG did not say that Clark deliberately went out to aggravate RJ knee.

9.) 13 Sep 2019 19:27:03
Sometimes we embarrass our club by making ridiculous statements.

Rise above the nonsense and try to be discerning when coming up with theories.

10.) 13 Sep 2019 20:19:26
Ooooooooooh that will be us told then 👜.

11.) 14 Sep 2019 10:44:52
I think there is a slight exaggeration with the 11k running I would hope do anyway and surely if Steve Clarke knew this I would like to think that he would do what's best for the player (s)

12.) 14 Sep 2019 13:26:43
modern science says you don't do 11k runs 48 hrs after a big game. its potentially very damaging to the body. Doubly so if you carry a niggle.
My only concern re this is was Scotland told re the niggle? and who was supposed to tell them if they were not?

is this the reason for the Allen walk out?

just thinking out loud there.

13.) 14 Sep 2019 13:36:39
Lemon admitted Celtic physio is Scotland physio. No point in us playing for them.

14.) 14 Sep 2019 22:57:40
Struth your version of modern science is distorted. 48 hours rest? I have 24 hours rest a week and run 50-70 miles.

{Ed001's Note - are you preparing for a football match where you are expected to perform multiple sprints?}

Spare a thought for those Celtic fans who have their 55th birthday this year.

1.) 18 Mar 2021 09:54:11
When Jack plays there is another dimension to our midfield. So much stronger and he stops other teams breaking us down.
As for roofe when fit he's been awesome.

16 Jan 2021 16:35:15
As a great believer in succession planning should we be looking at our own Steven Davis as our future manager? He's respected on and off the pitch, has a wealth of experience, a born leader and is a Rangers man. Just a thought for maintaining the standards SG has attained for us with one eye on our future.

Ferintosh

1.) 16 Jan 2021 17:57:44
I'd be looking at Barry Ferguson as some sort of position if not manager. Similar type of person to Gerrard see how his apprenticeship turns out. But man's a winner stays away from bulls@#t and demands respect.

2.) 16 Jan 2021 18:20:19
I'll put my neck on the line and say barry ferguson will never manage us mate.

01 Dec 2020 08:26:33
The biggest danger to the continued success of any team is complacency. The classic example is the 1990 Scotland v England rugby grand slam game that England presumed they would win. Celtic are experiencing the perfect storm, complacency, poor signings, poor manager and now faced with a strong Rangers squad playing for each other, the manager and our history.

Ferintosh

1.) 01 Dec 2020 09:23:56
Need to turn it into league titles though or it means nothing.

2.) 01 Dec 2020 09:33:22
We are in the perfect position to take advantage of their shortcomings.
Rangers have already built up a healthy lead, playing consistently well, scoring goals, not conceding many and are still undefeated in all competitions and it's now December.
Celtic on the other hand have been knocked out of 3 competitions. 🤣🤣🤣.

3.) 01 Dec 2020 09:43:36
My biggest fear is complacency from ourselves!
Right now Celtic are on their knees and there for the taking, and If we don't take advantage of this, there are no excuses! We are in top form, playing some scintillating football, scoring for fun, not conceding stupid goals, and everything looks great, however, If we take our eye off the ball, allow Celtic's plight to blind us into thinking the league's a given, then we only have ourselves to blame If it all goes t*@s up!
Do I think we'll blow it? Not a chance! But, I'm taking no chances, and I'm sure our manager is drilling this into the players every day.
It's great getting one, or several over the east end mob, and long may it continue. But, could we refrain from using the 55, and especially the mind the gap p@*h, as there's a long way to go.

4.) 01 Dec 2020 10:16:03
Correct Ferintosh, They have sleepwalked into it by thinking that we were so far behind them after our collapse last season, but thanks to our brilliant board and management team we have come back even stronger, we just need to keep our nerve and continue to do what we are doing, I remember Dave kings house of cards statement.

5.) 01 Dec 2020 10:38:22
Spot on there BMGHO1 my friend.

Let's hope Stevie is aware of that (sure he is tho) and reminds the squad of that.

6.) 01 Dec 2020 11:23:37
I'm certain he will Bluebilly.
Our management team will be on the ball with this and drilling it into every player.
When you smell blood you go in for the kill! It really is that simple!

7.) 01 Dec 2020 13:14:02
I think if they drop ANY more points before the next old firm and we pick up full points, the league is ours if we win that old firm.

STV News at 6 up here tonight, quote from the reporter: "Great news for Aberdeen, 12 of the Sporting Lisbon team and staff are suffering from C.V.".
Disgusting but typical.

1.) 18 Sep 2020 19:07:45
and no help cause the sheep will not make group stage as neither will the steelmen. the tic have a bye while if we navigate the next two i believe the rest will consider us as serious contenders. which we are.

2.) 18 Sep 2020 21:09:21
Serious contenders for the Europa league? Have a word with yourself Eric.

3.) 18 Sep 2020 21:20:08
contenders . we couldn't even lay a glove on leverkusen. then inter dispatched them. were miles off contenders unfortunately.

4.) 18 Sep 2020 23:12:45
aaand another two who don't read correctly. good luck!

5.) 19 Sep 2020 08:50:21
The Tic have a bye, that made me laugh, all the teams in the play off spot will be tough.

18 Jun 2020 09:24:15
I see threats are appearing to remove Hearts and Patrick from football. Chairmen should know that the law takes superiority over club, country and even UEFA rules. Jean-Marc Bosman is the best example of that. I watch with interest.

Ferintosh

1.) 18 Jun 2020 09:55:18
No chance Hearts and Thistle will be expelled absolutely no chance.

2.) 18 Jun 2020 10:41:02
Where you seeing that mate?

3.) 18 Jun 2020 10:46:30
No chance would that happen, if it did clubs would break away and form their own body. Not a bad idea actually. 👍.

4.) 18 Jun 2020 13:37:09
Afternoon Folks, I hope you are all well. I see on the BBC Sport Page, that ND has been 'excused' from any UEFA Panels discussing punishment for Scottish teams, anyone else think there could be more to this, i. e. UEFA don't like what they've been seeing?

5.) 18 Jun 2020 14:20:40
Muppet, totally agree but my point is that lawyers and judges will decide pn SPFL decisions, not the SPFL or UEFA and that has to be a bonus.

6.) 18 Jun 2020 17:49:18
Even so lawyers or judges would not expel Hearts/ Thistle from the league that’s not a decision for them to consider.

All over Twitter that SD are selling our strips. Not able to verify that but if true the answer is simple. Don't buy there. Some questions need answered though.

The obvious bias against us is another incentive for the team to hump everyone we play. We can use this to our advantage.

I don't see it that way. Extending the hours recognises it's going to be a tough game. Also, if Scotland was any way near as consistent, there is no doubt we would be arrogant but too many seem satisfied with one decent game against England.

Last season it was ban Morelos and that was enough to stop Rangers. This season it doesn't matter, we now have cover and options up front.
