There is a rumour doing the rounds down here in Fleetwood that rangers could be in for gretar steinnson for DOF role, he works in a similar capacity at Fleetwood Town at the moment

1.) 11 Mar 2017 13:18:43
Is there any rumours about Alex Neil heading to ibrox

2.) 11 Mar 2017 13:44:14

6.) 11 Mar 2017 21:17:07
Why do some of our fans not keep up to speed with what is happening at our football club? Smodge81, for your benefit mate, pedro caixinha is the new glasgow rangers manager / head coach! Where have you been that you haven't heard this?

Just say that IT actually happens and Pedro does get the boot, who would the fans like to see get the job? I know Derek McInnes would probably be a firm favourite but are there any other names who people would like to see in charge?

1.) 24 Oct 2017 00:25:42
Id take alex neal supposedly supports the dark side but i reckon he'd do a job or michael oneil

2.) 24 Oct 2017 05:52:28
FleetwoodBear, IF pedro caixinha were to lose his job then imho we have to think bigger than the usual suspects, like derek mcinnes, tommy wright etc! Here's a few i'd personally like to see us consider and would be able to take on brendan rodgers! Big sam allardyce, harry redknapp, alan pardew, chris coleman,
jurgen klinsmann and i don't give a flying to what anyone says ie. wee billy davies! What about you fleetwoodbear?

3.) 24 Oct 2017 10:30:55
Two lesser teams in the league have recently made a big statement of intention by bringing in managers with a wealth of experience. How were Kilmarnock and Ross Co able to attract these guys and we end up with a manager whose best recent success was coming fifth in the Qatari league 23 points behind the winner?
I fear, super, that we've thrown all our funds into Perdu and his signings and that there are no funds to finance any of the big names you put forward

4.) 24 Oct 2017 10:42:29
That's my 2 as well alex Neil and Michael O'Neil alex done good job at Preston where I stay very attack minded doesn't sit back settle for score always wants to go for more O'Neil done great job Northern Ireland

5.) 24 Oct 2017 16:20:04
BIlly Davies supercoop away and give us peace with that heโ€™s a known trouble maker constantly falls out with boards and hasnโ€™t managed a club for a few years you must be related to him or go to parties with him and tommy

28 Sep 2017 23:40:47
Do any fellow bears agree that it's about time Jak Alnwick was given his chance now, don't get me wrong I lime Fod but I can't help thinking there is always a mistake in there somewhere . I have said before on here that living in Fleetwood and watching lower league football in England that Alnwick should have been playing at a higher level that he was add that to the fact he was outstanding against Thistle I think it's time he was given the chance to make the No1 spot his own.

02 Jul 2017 20:36:07
With all the discussion on here about if Foderingham is good enough, which I do btw, who do supporters want to be brought in to replace him as they would need to be available and affordable . Off the top of my head I can't really think of anyone who fits the criteria who would be better than Wes.

1.) 02 Jul 2017 23:07:19
McShagger from Hull

2.) 02 Jul 2017 23:24:41
Mika would be a good replacement

3.) 03 Jul 2017 04:22:29
I would like to see Foderingham be more in control of his six yard box althoughough with two quality centre backs they should give him significantly better cover than he has had since his arrival. If we were to bring in another keeper I would be happy for McGregor to return.

4.) 03 Jul 2017 08:37:04
Hart haha if we could loan him for a year would be a great singing tho

29 May 2017 19:39:09
After lookin on the website Transfermarket. com there are some interesting names available for free transfers, some of whom could probably do a job for us without costing a fortune, Christopher Samba for one, he's 33 now but when he was at Blackburn rover's in the EPL he was a very tough solid centre half who was extremely highly rated at one point, it says he has been without a club since being released by panathinaikos . It's worth a look as one or two names in my opinion could turn out to be a good bit if business for whoever snatches them

1.) 29 May 2017 20:01:26
Samba would be a great singing but unlikely to happen

2.) 30 May 2017 08:23:47
Unless he took a wage cut i couldn't see it happening, did he not end up in turkey on a pretty big salary

20 May 2017 12:00:05
I sometimes read a few posts on here with disbelief in regards to negativity etc, just 3 of the names we r linked with, alves, Weiss and Naismith are in a completely different league to what we have at the moment and will improve us hugely, if these 3 are signed witha few more bought in too i'm kinda optimistic. I think we should all get behind pPedro and give him a chance because we ain't going to be successful without the whole club from board level us fans pulling together making the best of what we will have come the start of the season, Leicester didn't have the best players when they won the EPL, what they did have was a tremendous togetherness through out which without they would have been nowhere near the title, so come on fellow bears let's say our part in getting us back to where we belong

1.) 20 May 2017 12:15:26
Well said

2.) 20 May 2017 12:27:03
Wouldn't sign Naismith on the basis that some things are bigger than football such as integrity and loyalty among other things. It can be dressed up in however many ways you or anyone likes the fact is his leaving of the club was ugly and left a bad taste for many of the fans to take.

He was not leaving Rangers but a new organisation according to himself, well we are still that same team he left in his own eyes so I see no reason to forgive him now that we are in a better position. And he still has 2 years remaining so the fee would not be worth it and probably unatainable in the first instance.

3.) 20 May 2017 13:15:01
Leicester had player of year. Record goalscorer and international defense. Rethink

4.) 20 May 2017 14:06:29
Just2see, If only my life was as perfect as you expect. I would be a saint.

Bad advice, poor form of words granted but no doubt he would improve our team

In my book, grab him with both hands now

5.) 20 May 2017 14:24:15
Leicesters player of the year was unheard of until they signed him, fo all we know we could unearth a real gem too, all i'm sayin Is negativity from the outset is not going to help anybody

6.) 20 May 2017 14:46:42
My feeling exactly, just2see ๐Ÿ‘

7.) 20 May 2017 18:26:12

100% correct mate what Naismith did and said was totally unforgivable and it's incredible how some Rangers fans are that desperate that they have changed their tune and want him back.

8.) 20 May 2017 18:32:11

Even forgetting the fact about what he did and said. Do you honestly think we could afford the transfer fee. The guy went for ยฃ9m less than a year ago and will be on inexcess of anything we could afford to pay him. We simply can't afford him

9.) 20 May 2017 18:42:59
Just keep in mind that naismith the same as us has family to support at the time of leaving rangers if someone said to you at work that your taking 75% pay cut in you wages what would you do? Take into account these guys have got houses and stuff based probably on their salaries etc

10.) 20 May 2017 19:36:55
Omg. Not this old Naismith chestnut again. Ok for some people he left under a cloud of controversy. Ok I get that some of you guys don't like what he done. Let me ask you this. IF he comes back and scores a barra load of goals in big games, cup finals, against them. You telling me that he couldn't win you over again. You would be willing to sit on your hands not celebrating what he could do for the team. Let me add I'd rather have Naismith back than Weiss.

11.) 20 May 2017 21:47:17

Forgetting the way the horrible wee so and so left us claiming the club died how are we supposed to afford his transfer fee and wages? Do you think Norwich having not long paid ยฃ9m for him are just going to let him leave for no fee?

12.) 20 May 2017 23:12:01
Bengy the rumour is yes they are letting him leave for free massive cost cutting at the club I know it sounds strange considering the money they have paid out but that's the rumour going around

13.) 20 May 2017 23:34:27

Yeah RUMOUR is the key word there. There season has been over 2 weeks now and they have already named the players to be released and he wasn't one of them. Do you not think if that was going to be the case then it would have been announced by now? Do you not think it makes more sense to see if they can recoup some money for him? Sure their would be teams willing to pay a fee for him and I'm also sure Norwich will be looking for a fee rather than just releasing for nothing without even trying to get something. Not as if the window is closing and they will be stuck with him

14.) 20 May 2017 23:37:00

That is a red herring mate. Rangers weren't asking him to take a pay cut to stay all they wanted to do was get some sort of fee for him. I'm sure he could have negotiated the club to get a small fee say ยฃ500k and he would have still got his move and the club would have got money

15.) 21 May 2017 17:47:36
he doesn't have two years remaining, he's been released

Hope were not going to have another window were we r linked to loads of EPL sides young players, it hasn't worked in the past and it won't work in the future, we need tried and tested experienced players who r obviously affordable. I know Sir Alex proved Hansen wrong with the " you can't win anything with kids" comment but it's not Beckhan, Scholes, Giggs etc we r getting linked with

Living in Fleetwood and going to Highbury to watch them play regulary I certainly think Devante Cole is worth taking a risk on, he has a real eye for goal, quick and still plenty of time to improve and rumour down here is after learning of Rangers intrest he would jump at the move

Just out of interest, to the people who are saying Wes isn't the best keeper in Scotland then who do you's think is and I hope nobody say Gordon because he's mince

I personally like Wes but I'm also a big fan of Alnwick having seen a lot of him in the lower leagues in England (living in Fleetwood I watch them quite a bit when I can't get up the road ) . If Wes was to go though totally agree that a fee of 2/ 3 million should be what we get, they got Barry on the cheap we can't let them do it again

Bhampot u r seriously obsessed pal, u must spend more time on this page than u do on your own, and u know Naismith would get a game with yous lot YOU keep telling yourself he wouldn't ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚the team of invincibles would keep him well away from the senior squad right? I've just got this sense of misplaced arrogance from yous lot, look yes yous won the league and went unbeaten etc etc etc but let's face facts .
The league was piss poor and I mean piss poor, we were probably at a point where we were so rubbish thinking about it we ain't ever going to be that shite again as it's surely impossible to be so . This season we have to and WILL mount a serious challenge this season (I'm not saying we will win the league ) but a bit if pressure will be added and this season the invincibles ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚will have this bit of pressure to deal with so we will see how they get on because the main reason yous went unbeaten was that through the entire season u played with absolutely none What so ever, the only time yous probably did was the cup final v Aberdeen when that one off game where a bit of silver ware was to be won and in my opinion Aberdeen tore u a new one and had you by the balls and were unlucky not to have won, yes you won the game but when these games with a bit of pressure become a regular thing, games that u can't afford to lose because the Rangers are breathing down your necks will u get so lucky in all these games? I don't think so and 55 not come this season but it's coming and u know it is because u bein on here is just another version of u either sleeping with one eye open or looking over shoulder everywhere u go .

Give us time to gel, I do think another striker will be bought in though as I agree as much as I like him Morelos is guilty of missing so many guilt edge chances, I was saying to my pal last night that if he took even half of the chances he misses he'd be so ****in dangerous but at th moment we can't affOrd someone missing chance that should be getting buried easily

McBurnie is certainly splitting the bears, for me I'd like to see himat ibrox, he's big, strong, won't get bullied, knows where the goal is and could be the perfect partner for Morelos

Would be a great signing, plenty of experience at a good age, was on standby for England in the world cup 4 years ago as well . It is for me a no brainer and haven't we all made mistakes and done things we regret? Unforgivable what he did but if one man can wrap his arm around him and get him back on track as a person and a player then Stevie surely is that man

Whether or not Windass does go missing for 80 minutes a game the fact is recently his goals have been winning us points, there is a player in there I just wish he'd take a step back and look at where he is! From Accrington Stanley to Rangers, he should very soon start to realise that he may in the future play for a club with more money but he will NEVER play for a bigger club EVER

Under Murty we look a million times better than we did under Pedro, I'd like to see Murty get the job personally, twice now he has took the reigns when we were in serious trouble and in circumstances where nobody else would have wanted to touch us, in my opinion Murty comes across well in interviews, seems to have the dressing room behind him and needs thanking massively for helping out our magnificent football club in our hour of need (something for which I will be forever greatful) ๐Ÿ”ตโšช๐Ÿ”ด
