Hi Ed, what about a poll on whether Ashley would be welcome if he invested 30-40 million in Gers?

Ashley Poll

1.) 04 Dec 2017 20:24:59
I've said on here before that its great advertisement for ashley for minimal cost against the english league, and we need that kind of investment, nobody else is standing up so why not, yip he's a buisness guy a rich one that's pretty ruthless
Guess what rich buisness guys are pretty ruthless but rich because of it, he'll see what can be made by celtics figures and it might just make him think but that also means investment in the team to reach that level

2.) 04 Dec 2017 20:27:14
111 so called fans would have ashley back if he invested 30 million. My god what short memories these people have!

3.) 05 Dec 2017 10:11:02
Anyone who wants Fat Mike at ibrox clearly doesn’t care about Rangers!

Rights folks, bit of change of subject to the management vacancy. I want to know the thoughts on the current singing at matches. Before the club is punished I would like fans and fans groups to get together to discuss the songs. Many are great songs, some just need tweaked with word or line changed and others just totally dropped. Some of the later are just awful and are stopping me taking my son to away games, which should be his birth right. It's embarrassing and is damaging our beloved club. We have a brilliant support so let's fix together. Thoughts?

Couldn’t agree more. The halfwits who use my club as a vehicle to spout their bile need weeded out. Imo it’s the union bears who should take the lead on this. They are the ones who generally start the songs. Its about time we made up new songs and left the 1690 song sheet where it belongs. in the past and move on.

2.) 08 Nov 2017 05:28:01
I have similar thoughts buddy, tho my lad is still a bit on the young side but the away games are terrible.

Its embarrassing to be honest, especially in a world trying to move towards equality, togetherness and acceptance.

I don't understand why we can't build a new reputation that focuses on the future rather than the past?

3.) 08 Nov 2017 12:26:36
camoo great post however you just need to look at the idiots that have hit the disagree button to see your backing a lame hoarse

I see Mark McGhee has chipped in to the EBT debate and feels Motherwell lost out on a league position and he and his players lost out on win bonuses. Get real Mark. Murderwell lost out on nothing. I also see you visited your wealthy chairman in his Barbados home. Apart from being a stunning place to live I'm sure there in no reason to think there are any tax avoidance reasons for this place of residence!

Fourladshadadream don't you think it's rather odd that most people that harp on about our legal tax paying are mostly people that played for the East Enders.

2.) 20 Nov 2015 19:00:51
it's not worth bothering about, the papers have tried really hard to get these stories, but so far it's only been the two that have said that we should lose titles. the titles were won on the park, fair and square. these people were so quiet when we won the first two cases. just more haters, nothing new there guys.

3.) 21 Nov 2015 12:58:06
@BillyBlueNose - How can it be legal tax paying when we didn't pay the tax?

Anyway who cares what managers and players say, it is what the SPL/SFA say that matters.

It is natural for people to by angry at what we done. Just imagine Celtic had done what we had done and we lost out on trophies as a result, would you not be angry and want them punished?

4.) 21 Nov 2015 16:17:18
BH, I am not condoning murray's methods in any way, and I honestly think the buck should stop with him, but you refer to the east-end boys, so reflect on their methods pre Fergus, and tell me they are lily white.
They got away with their methods and the tax man has picked up ours, it is just your donald duck.
At the end of the day, ebt's were legal, maybe murray applied the detail incorrectly, but do you honestly know?
On the field, it was 11 v 11, and the commercial aspect should be kept for the boardroom.

5.) 22 Nov 2015 19:24:45
Boss hog it was a legal loop hole that loads of big establishments used, that loophole has now been closed, but believe me it was all perfectly legal and above board at the time of use, I take it you know that b.d.o. are now going to appeal to the top judges to get this throwing out once and for all .

6.) 22 Nov 2015 01:01:07
Boss hog we used a perfectly legal law in regards the tax me, well in regards the e.b.t. What part of that can some people not get into there thick heads, legal means it's allowed, have you never done a homer, or a favour for a mate, if you have I hope you declared it to the authorities .

I hate to see the vile abuse of club legend Ally McCoist, yes, he made mistakes, many of them and was not the best manager. But you have to remember the circumstances he was operating under and that without him what might have actually happened. MW would never have come to us in Div 3 with the crooks and spivs we had on the board. I'm sure I will get shot down for this post but I wonder if the people who spout their vitriol against Ally actually witnessed the goals he scored and the joy he gave us as fans? If you did witness this then maybe you have forgotten and should watch a dvd or YouTube. Yes he was well over paid but I think the goals he scored he was due it in my eyes as doubt his pay was that great in those days.

Super Ally always a Rangers legend

I'm 48 so he was my hero use 2 watch him every game for years. When it started everybody took a pay cut apart from him until they found out how much he was getting. I know u have 2 look out for yourself and your family but I'm sure he had made plenty by then.

2.) 10 Sep 2015 21:31:51
Fourlads?

I am with you - we all make mistakes - ffs I have got the teeshirt, so I have.

Ally was asked to be a manager with a wage - but he was much more than that - if not for Ally the gates could have shut.

His bosses gave him the salary.

How many of you out there would give up your salary and walk away to save the business?

He was due the wages! I do not have a problem with that, at all.

He is a legend both on and off the park.

3.) 11 Sep 2015 00:04:34
I think a lot of the negativity attached will be due to his endless endorsements of said spivs. Being a crap manager is one thing penny shares for saying a spiv is genuine is another matter all together.

4.) 10 Sep 2015 21:30:19
A legend on the park but a total failure at Management which put the club backwards 2 years!! So Bears what do you make of Dave King's " Rangers will Receive further Investment This Season " Now wait for it. " In the Form of Short term LOANS as & when are needed.

5.) 10 Sep 2015 22:11:05
ally was a huge hero if mine especially 92 euro run and golden boot seasons but the man was already loaded before managing rangers. his wage back then would of made him very comfortable and then his tv deals so when it came to walking away to be a gardener he should have walked away not trudged down the path getting his pockets filled with dough I can't forgive that he knew how bad finances are for rangers and could of made a deal as soon as DK came in so we could move forward as quickly as possible without the circus that surrounded our club carrying on could of went it didn't work out give me x amount as compensation for working under strenuous conditions and forge the rest . X amount being a minimum .never forgive never forget

1st time poster on, having read site for a few years. Good banter and enjoy it. On a different note, I am signed up for the CCS (no not that one) and just realised Rangers charge me £22 for every £15 ticket they send me, apparently to post cost £7!! Anyone else feel a bit ripped off by this?

Why is Wilson playing and not Bruno? Are they trying to force him out and get his wages off the books? Wilson never worked before so why play him again?

On a purely personal basis i'm kinda hoping it is O'Neil so maybe idiots in our support stop singing songs like flute for 50 pence and the Lisbon lions song. Then I can maybe take my son to away games and our beloved club will not get into trouble. It is coming folks and we need to do something about it very soon. I also think he is a good manager, to N Iron that far speaks volumes. He didn't have a Bale or Ramsey like Coleman did.

gkk all that stefannytos does is read Phil McPlasticpaddy then come on here trying to claim phrases he has used in his money spinning blog, which by the way claims we are all facists and regularly makes references to us being the 'Klan'. Says it all really.
