Anyone heard anything about us putting in a bid for Omar Bogle?

Fraser52

1.) 28 Jan 2017 19:02:20
Bogles the mind mate

2.) 28 Jan 2017 19:47:49
Not heard nothing but we won't get him, read somewhere that they had rejected an 800,000 bid from someone, we won't be spending that much

3.) 28 Jan 2017 20:20:16
If we pay it a tenner a week sure we might get it done

4.) 28 Jan 2017 21:01:26
No mention by the media that we are remotely interested in signing Omar Bogle

5.) 29 Jan 2017 11:09:43
I saw a lot on twitter about it that's all - nothing more concrete than that
Just wondered if anyone had heard anything

I think the last week has shown us the board are clueless, penniless and spineless.
I really like Murty but I don't believe he's up to the job
We are carrying far too many work shy cowards
We are playing like a team in the bottom half of the league and fast heading there as well unless we can change things
I hope I'm wrong but I think this transfer window will show how skint we are

I like many others was delighted to see the new board take over but they have turned out to be a clueless shambles

The level of transparency isn't there
The level of investment isn't there
The lavel of player isn't there
The level of player commitment isn't there
The only thing that's there is the support

Feeling very angry, gutted and let down.

I would disagree, a board is there to run the club, and not much should be made public. Serious investment has been made, a lot of it in infrastructure, but also about 8m on players. The players are working hard but the quality play is below standard I agree, I think all the negativity must affect them and the fans have to take some blame for that. This is not a sprint, but a marathon and we need patience.

2.) 23 Dec 2017 17:12:40
fans aren't to blame at all mate, their loyalty has been above and beyond and can only go so far

3.) 23 Dec 2017 17:28:49
This board has over seen the appointment of Pedro and backed some horrific signings
The statements that come of the club are embarrassing and are mostly ammunition for rival fans to have a go
You can’t blame the fans we are all rightly angry and frustrated
With the investment that was made in the summer you would expect a decent level of improvement
I will hold my hands up and say I’m wrong if we get some good signings in January but I seriously doubt we will

4.) 23 Dec 2017 18:03:41
For gods sake, you lot need to chill out. There's a chairman who's not a criminal, a fantastic board (with jobs for life hopefully), a top name as a manager and above all class players. A top half spot is almost guaranteed. Merry Christmas one and all

5.) 23 Dec 2017 18:18:51
So it’s the fans fault. It’s my fault Hibs and Kilmarnock have pummelled us in recent weeks. Beaten by St Johnstone and Hamilton - at home. It’s my fault we have Jason Holt (love Jason Holt as he tries his heart out but we knew 2 years ago he wasn’t good enough) and our under 20s centre half in midfield. I could go on and on and on. The tide has turned and we will be lucky to get 20,000 season tickets sold next year. Since winning the championship we haven’t improved. We have no style, no shape, no sense of what type of team we are.

16 Dec 2017 16:52:35
We've had some stinking performances this season but that today was the worst in my opinion - absolutely disgraceful attempt
Weak, no creativity, movement nothing shocking performance.

Just a thought - Given that Pedro is now back coaching in Mexico I wonder if he will consider coming in for Pena or Harrera given that they don't seem to be adapting to the game here.

Fraser52

1.) 12 Dec 2017 18:29:36
Doubt it. The same as the bread man didn’t try to sign back any of his duds.

Not saying either Mexicans are duds btw. Herrera hasn’t had s fair change in mr opinion, and when he was given more than 3 mins at he end of a game he actually scored, twice.

Pena is talented but frustrating also. He is also a whipping boy. He was getting pelters vs County when there were at least 3 or 4 more players playing just as poorly as him. And the service was diabolical. Still the right decision to sub him👍🏼 Doesn’t make him a bad player because the game didn’t suit him though.

2.) 12 Dec 2017 19:06:54
Hopefully Murty or new manager will get more out of them as I expected a lot more from them by now

3.) 12 Dec 2017 21:52:07
BearMode

Pena didn’t try a leg against Ross County. Showed no interest in looking for the ball and on the few occasions he did touch the ball he gave it away. Not suited to the Scottish game and would be better off leaving sooner rather than later

4.) 12 Dec 2017 21:56:53
i agree, i haven't seen herrera enough to even comment fairly. pena has some great skills eg has assist against aberdeen. he plays better the more forward he is. there is a player there just needing to coach it out. at the moment he panics when surrounded.

5.) 13 Dec 2017 08:09:27
God I hope so. Both awful and not suited to spl. Should have got moult, walker and others who we knew.

6.) 13 Dec 2017 08:10:20
I'd sell both I think. Don't think they are suited to Scottish game. We paid a lot for them and don't think they have gave much back. Had work they say beats talent all day long if talent does not work hard.

7.) 13 Dec 2017 08:22:05
Pena is a shocking footballer and i don't care about his goal ratio. Literally a man down when he's in the side.

Please please please can we get rid of that clown Jim Trainer
Today has been embarrassing enough without a statement like that.
Our PR needs to be seriously improved.

Fraser52

1.) 08 Dec 2017 00:06:51
100% agree. Better PR required ASAP. That statement totally lacks all logic in places. Embarrassing.

2.) 08 Dec 2017 01:42:41
That statement was almost as embarrassing as the knock back from Mcinnes it was a disgrace out PR is miles behind Celtic and this just sums up the state we are in get Trainer out of our club he is a liability

Does anyone know if we have a sports psychologist working with the squad?

I found it interesting that Murty said Kiernan training like a beast during the week yet he played like a terrified wee boy AGAIN
A lot of the team look mentally weak
You can be fit, strong and skilful but if your head is not in the right place during the game you have a big problem.
The ability to handle pressure, react to situations, make decisions etc etc is all psychological and we are struggling in that department in my opinion.

Fraser52

1.) 19 Feb 2017 19:24:38
struggling with the basics. same everyweek from the defence
all very good saying training like a beast and when training with teammates you won't have a thought of caution, but when your playing againts opposition who are determined to give you a hard time and want to beat you its a different story

they definitely need a psycologist and more to get their heads out of this mess

basic errors by killie today as well that gave aberdeen the victory plus mcinnes made some good calls today with subs. etc, something we have been lacking in aswell

think 3rd will be a struggle to hold on to as well

2.) 19 Feb 2017 19:54:20
I'd struggle to play if I was getting abused by my own fans.

3.) 20 Feb 2017 14:29:49
I agree certain players are struggling mentally with the size of the task and have been like that for a long time. Maybe we should get Jack Black in for a session or two.

Nowhere near enough experience
I like McCann but it would be a bit of a kick in the balls if it was him

That’s quite a statement
I do think it will probably be Mcinnes but I can’t see Ferguson coming in after all the criticism of the board
Nor do I want Ferguson as a coach - is he a good coach?

Of all the ex players I would love back it would be Bartley. He's gone up a level in play since he left
Will never forget his tackle on the lego muncher - brilliant

Really hope so
It's good to have depth in the squad but depth in our quality is what will help us challenge for trophies

I was told Alves was on the same as well. The guy works at the club but I don’t see how anyone other than the player themselves would know exactly what a player was on
One thing is for sure we have had a rotten return on both of them for the money paid

Hopefully we have a good transfer window and manage to get rid of a few underperforming players and get a few quality players in
Jamie Murphy is a good start

I was speaking to someone a couple of days ago that was telling me Pena is on around £30k - that’s mental a player on that amount should be bossing this league
Would be good to get him off the wage bill for sure

Not a great performance but defended better than we have been
100% a penalty and we got away with one but no more a penalty than we should have had for the pull on Mccrorrie in the first half so Lennon should shut his hole
In my opinion we have miles to improve in all areas of the park but we are only about 5 points behind them
