I know many will probably disagree. But I am getting fed up seeing these comments from fans saying "we need to remember where we came from, where we have been the past 5 years" and yes it is true.

We have been down to the bottom league and back. But all through that time we still had the second highest wage bill in Scotland. We won the leagues and came back to the top league at a satisfactory level. For the players and managers we had we should have been a lot better.

Now all we hear is fans using this excuse when others say they are fed up with certain players or management, they need to be given time etc. They have had nearly 2 seasons to get things right. Last year I don't remember us wining a game after the league was won.

We brought in players again with a high expectations and they failed and the team fail week in week out. With the wages and money we have spent compared to our table rivals. We should be miles ahead.

But we're not, some players have been dropped and others given the chance and still no change so where does that leave us? An arrogant manager who doesn't want to change his tactics, definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results.

People are allowed different opinions, but I just can't see how anyone can see the current management taking this team any higher. For me it needs changed. Get someone in with some fresh ideas and let these ideas bed in for next season when we go again. Or risk falling further behind a rapidly improving celtic.

I would totally agree with the post and at the start of the season there were many on here boasting about the squad and how we would give them a good run for their money. The manager also said "2nd is nowhere for Rangers" but he now seems to have forgotten this. His press conferences are now a constant embarrassment and he seems to detached from reality. In short the job is too big for him, he still doesn't get what being a manager of Rangers is and the sooner he goes the better. He will never win the league or take us forward

You are spot on, warburton is big on doing analysis on other teams, nobody else needs to do that to us, everyone knows how we play and what we will do, even the subs are like for like, it's crazy he just can't change it up, what do you do if something isn't working, you bloody try something else, but not warburton. it's time for a change

Wasn't that einstein's definition of insanity? Great post mate, agree on all points especially where fans think its ok to be where we are because of where we were. Its just not good enough. The players are truly awful and the manager is way out his depth. This may cause a stir but if I was dave king I would be on my knees begging walter smith to come back, yes dave king would have to dig deep. Who else could turn these players into a team?

Smith won't manage an ibrox team again as he knows he doesn't have the funds! he is a cheque book manager and that's it! He knows he can't buy a team!

Coldo I believe you are correct with it being Einstein's qoute.

To many players who do not take responsibility, see it after every goal or mistake they are quick to point the finger at someone else. I will support the team through good and bad, I've got my Seat and will sit through the cold to watch them, all we ask is the same commitment from the players and management

What I don't understand is he says we had Joe dodoo on the bench desperate to get on, why didn't he put him on then? Are we not allowed 3 attacking subs in a game

Mertesacke is incredible at reading the game. great defensive player but is far too slow, arsenal got away with a lot because of the pure pace that bellerin has to get back and cover, sadly we do not have that, especially if warbs keeps playing tav a rb. i would never turn away a player of mertesacke calibre but i just don't know if he is the player to help. coming from a rangers and arsenal fan
