if anyone is happy for ashley to take over the are off there head. twoyears ago money was being paid out on fat cats in the boardroom bonus while the team struggled on the park. he gave us 5 players from newcastle only 1 played any all others were injured or ill we had people running the club who only had intrest in money and that profit was being taken from the club. it was a starting point for our club which should have started 5 years ago but due to charles green the deals with ashley the club has struggled to go without revenue from merchandise with a club of this size so if he took over would he change the deal not at all so the club would still not recieve any money
i know they say times a healer but surely not makes people this stupid.

Ashley does not have a problem with Rangers, it's King he has an issue with. Would things improve if King was removed?

LMFAO really

3.) 05 Mar 2017 17:26:00
Enough with the ashely pish how can any bear even consider this guy he's a disgusting human being with no respect for any other human being mans a rat

4.) 05 Mar 2017 17:31:32
I know who I would trust the most between Dave King and mike Ashley and it ain't the fat man.

5.) 05 Mar 2017 18:19:19
I have no idea if King is the right man. What I do know is things have improved in the 2 tears since he took over. Ashley is the one who got us tied to these onerous and unfair deals. If he gets control I will not renew my 19 year season ticket, which I know is trivial compared to a real bear who posted earlier with his 50 year + ticket.

6.) 05 Mar 2017 19:27:15
Really you would trust the fat man enough said who pays all his workers peanuts zero hour contracts wake up fat mans not the answer

7.) 05 Mar 2017 19:49:19
In an ideal world we wouldn't have either of them anywhere near the Club. Ashley is a Businessman but has showed no intent when he was in Power at Rangers previously to suggest that he would do what is needed to get us back on top; King is full of bullshit and to date has not invested the necessary funds in the playing side of the club. He has also done more to aggravate the situation with Ashley than to resolve matters.

What we need is a consortium or someone that McColl that has the money and the intent to get us back to the top of Scottish Football.

You're a smart guy, Gor. What do you think?

10.) 05 Mar 2017 18:01:30
Ashley has had his chance, he only interested in lining his pockets! Not to mention the tit for tat court cases and agms etc!, he can do one.

Its like asking what pinkie nail you want a needle stuck behind first.

Rangers will go bust again within the next 24 months. If they do not qualify for european football this season why would the 3 bears continue to give them money. Money they will never get back. Its Ashley or bust.

If you consider what has happened at Newcastle - relegated, then given a substantial parachute payment, Ashley then invests in team who look certs to be promoted back to EPL (another substantial payment) . Meanwhile the team are successful, 50,000+ happy fans turn up every week (more cash and less hostility) and they are never off the TV (along with Sports Direct's advertising hoardings) . Some might say its a cunning business strategy

i think if mcleish or davies were in the boards thoughts either would be appointted by now both free agents so they would be in place. i reckon the dof will come in and a coach will follow very shortly. i have no idea who any will be but it needs to be as safe an appointment as we can afford. every manager has flaws and there rep can turn in an instant with a bad set of results but i'm sure the right appointment will be made that will be a consistency to the team.

Gordon smith position situation was totally different to mccoist he wasn't the manager he was like loads of people who have been at club then left his comprising to his resignation is a joke. However he is right in the fact if he is going go now tbh gordon smith is another person with an opinion not really worth much and sums up ex rangers players in recent times imo

Billy Davies not for me. Steve Clarke everyday of the week for me

{Ed039's Note - Sorry just reading previous posts but when did Steve Clarke work for Ashley? He was at Newcastle around 1999-2000 when Ruud Gullit was manager)

I don't know if anything can beat 2-0 Aberdeen at home to win the league hard to pick there's been a few for me 6-1 Dunfermline to win the league. Leeds in 92 but first ones my top one I reckon

As I said iv grave concerns with regards to mccoist as a manager choices have been bad by him and his staff. I would fully expect a new manager to improve us my point was merely that no matter who comes in things need to be fixed further up as well. I do not doubt business acument of mike Ashley at all. Silence is hard to bear as over the last few years that's been a bad thing. As iv said there is many problems that don't seem to go away and they are and will hold us back no matter who the manager is. IMO mccoist needed to go decisions baffling, the thought of playing without pace and creativity all these things sum up for me. I'm just not one for the personal attacks on the man that's all football related fire away but other stuff not for me

The fact that all the name calling bout mccoist goes to greed who he's backed how much money he earns sums the current state of club and support IMO. The biggest problem as iv said 100times on here is not ally mccoist it is one of many problems on the playing side but as stability of a club if it can't be seen what's happened from day one since Whyte came in I despair. The club has been ran as unprofessionally off the park even more so than it has on the park. I'm not mccoists biggest fan but it's getting mental now with this the way the club is being run is despicable and the biggest problem as we can do nothing about it. A manager that comes in will only be short term solution as we as a club have no long term plan it's minute to minute with them. We have money till the end of January then will it be the end of the season mccoist or new manager that's not good circumstances as how can u plan. Ppl will say other teams work like that but successful teams don't. If it's fixed off the park it will get better on the park. We could be 15points clear just now and would still only have funds till January.
