Jon Flanagan signs 2 year deal

Goshy123

1.) 21 Jun 2018 00:40:11
Source Goshy? Or is that you just reading the papers and assuming he has signed? I don’t deny it looks like he is Ibrox bound but taking your info from the great Scottish Medis isn’t Wise especially Ally when he still has a medical to undergo

2.) 21 Jun 2018 06:08:47
Surely if this boy is as good as they say we should get him on a four year deal so we can make money on him if we choose to sell.

3.) 21 Jun 2018 08:49:35
From what i have heard he had a medical yesterday. Deal finalized today.

4.) 21 Jun 2018 10:20:53
Apparently he went through an extensive medical due to his previous knee problems, passed with no issues.

5.) 21 Jun 2018 10:40:05
No official announcement yet, he has just had a medical, and in any case it will be announced from Ibrox in a professional way, not from the training camp in Spain,

6.) 21 Jun 2018 12:40:24
It’s in the Liverpool Echo he has signed 2 year deal with a option on 12 months extension

7.) 21 Jun 2018 13:41:17
Officially announced on rangers. co. uk

8.) 21 Jun 2018 13:52:12
He won't sign until the team returns from spain

9.) 21 Jun 2018 14:02:09
Some amount spouted on here, they've announced him officially in Spain (in a professional way also believe it or not) .

10.) 21 Jun 2018 14:56:44
Why do folk just blatantly lie and say the exact opposite of what the facts are 😂😂

11.) 21 Jun 2018 15:43:29
I'm no a fan of this boy, no idea what he's like on the field but anyone who smacks his Mrs about is a total waste of oxygen, especially when she's 8 months pregnant. I'll never get behind this player

12.) 21 Jun 2018 15:48:01
Don't no much about the boy but am sure rodgers tyred to get him last season quote me if am wrong but I welcome the boy

13.) 21 Jun 2018 16:12:31
Is that right gavblue? 😂👏

14.) 21 Jun 2018 16:27:28
Gavblue, The player might be in Spain but it was officially announced from Ibrox via the Rangers official website,

15.) 21 Jun 2018 17:18:56
tiptoes i assume you never cheered whenever gazza scored then?

16.) 21 Jun 2018 18:56:26
tiptoe, she wasn't eight months pregnant

17.) 21 Jun 2018 19:15:07
Ahh more single fish from GavBlue. Missed ye mate 😉

18.) 22 Jun 2018 09:47:14
I was about 7 when Gazza played for us, I was more concerned with catching a squirtle than I was spousal abuse it has to be said. Yeah duty, looks like I was misled about the pregnancy part so I'll put my hand up to spreading fake news there

17 Jun 2018 13:45:30
Ohallolern signs for Melbourne 2 year deal

Goshy123

1.) 17 Jun 2018 14:59:37
Why would anyone disagree with ohallorean signing for Melbourne

2.) 17 Jun 2018 15:03:30
Good luck to the lad. We need wages freed up. Melbourne is a cracking place.

3.) 17 Jun 2018 15:21:47
How long before he starts slagging us off and taking selfies with Celtic fans?

4.) 17 Jun 2018 15:28:15
does anybody know if we got a fee for him?

5.) 17 Jun 2018 16:31:35
what do you mean how long Mike.

he’s already been doing it!

6.) 17 Jun 2018 16:34:25
I posted a wee while ago that they had bid for him. Half mill for him queens11

7.) 17 Jun 2018 16:37:57
Good luck to the lad! Not after cheering on that mob in the final

8.) 17 Jun 2018 16:41:25
Honestly don't care if we got a fee for him not good enuff

9.) 17 Jun 2018 17:02:31
Maybe because it's O'Halloran

10.) 17 Jun 2018 17:28:59
So he’s moved to my city haha. but in seriousness best move career wise Melbourne is a phenomenal place to live, the lifestyle compared to Glasgow is so much different in a good way. and he can actually play football without getting stick from both sides off fans. I’m glad he’s gone as he was never good enough but Good luck to him!

11.) 17 Jun 2018 18:18:10
good riddance. he will be gutted with the time difference for watching all his beloved Dhims games!

12.) 17 Jun 2018 19:03:16
Hearing we got 400k

13.) 17 Jun 2018 20:38:32
Probably disagreed because of the state of your spelling 😂

14.) 17 Jun 2018 20:47:56
Michael beat two men then give it away O’Halloran.
if he was that good why did st Johnstone no take him back? Another one that couldn’t handle the pressure or crowd. a bit like Barry

15.) 18 Jun 2018 00:23:00
Barrie couldn't even handle Forest without his beloved Warby. He's a weak spineless child of a player.

As for MOH - I doubt he'll say bad words - most professionals avoid that because if they go around bad mouthing ex teams then new teams might fear they'll do the same about them - harms future prospects. So they remain professional.

13 Jun 2018 20:11:49
Marriott from Peterborough 5 million

Goshy123

1.) 13 Jun 2018 20:29:27
I’d like us to get him but can’t see us paying £5 million

2.) 13 Jun 2018 21:26:15
If the rumours about the naming rights to the training ground are true, then £5m is nothing. To be honest that’s what we should be targeting if we want to improve, goalscorers cost money. Simple as that

3.) 13 Jun 2018 22:03:05
Saw him playing for Luton, nothing great, has since had one decent season in England's third tier. Not worth anything like £5m and not better than the likes of Waghorn.

4.) 13 Jun 2018 22:31:42
Rights to the training ground would barely cover the monthly earnings of Alves. Rangers won’t pay £5m for a player from Peterborough!

5.) 13 Jun 2018 23:05:35
Would much rather McBurnie for less £££

6.) 13 Jun 2018 23:26:04
5 million is far too much for me. Could get a much better striker from Europe for 5 million

7.) 14 Jun 2018 05:01:56
How much are we getting for the naming rights? I bet it’s nowhere near £5million

8.) 14 Jun 2018 06:43:38
I wasn’t suggesting the lad from Peterborough was the right move, I was suggesting that £5m for a striker was. I’ve never heard of the guy, original point still stands all strikers worth their salt cost money. Not that I want to talk about them but look at Edouard he didn’t really do much did he and PSG are after 8m minimum.

9.) 14 Jun 2018 07:19:21
Lafferty at Hearts has scored a few goals

10.) 14 Jun 2018 13:07:35
I think naming rights are part of the 10m deal no additional money to us

10 Jun 2018 23:51:55
Rangers linked to a loan deal for Roma's Nigerian striker unarmed sadiq.

Goshy123

1.) 11 Jun 2018 06:23:57
I don't think i want an unarmed player at our club

2.) 11 Jun 2018 06:28:12
He doesn't look too good.

3.) 11 Jun 2018 07:54:40
Could be worse. . he could be a goalie

4.) 11 Jun 2018 09:50:28
Hope this isn't going to be the road we are going down with loan signings we need stability not players that need to be replaced once the loan is up

5.) 11 Jun 2018 11:21:14
Papers indicated this could be a loan to buy option

6.) 11 Jun 2018 13:16:40
What a don’t get is he is only contracted til the end of this month instead of loan why don’t we go in with a offer and try and buy as could be a steal if he turns out good sick of all the loan rumours

7.) 11 Jun 2018 14:28:18
If he is onlu under contract until the end of the month, why don't we just wait a couple of weeks and sign him for nothing?

8.) 11 Jun 2018 14:47:59
Roma have a years extension they can trigger at any time before his deal runs out

9.) 11 Jun 2018 15:29:26
Well done propaganda that Reply was priceless. still laughing ha ha ha

10.) 13 Jun 2018 11:45:43
As long as he has two legs that's fine by me

01 Jun 2018 22:23:05
The gaffer scouting Adam Armstrong of Newcastle he’s playing for England under 21s in toulon

Goshy123

1.) 02 Jun 2018 11:50:50
Random guess?

2.) 02 Jun 2018 12:51:13
Don't honestly think he will be 'scouting' anyone from UK. Too expensive, too long in academies with no first team experience. Better casting the net wider and get (even at 20) experienced young players for honest price and not get ripped off.
Sell on clause are what makes these deals possible

3.) 02 Jun 2018 14:02:32
LDM exists to merely shoot down every ‘rumour’ on here 😂😂

4.) 02 Jun 2018 15:19:02
BAR72,adam armstrong is available for nothing mate! I believe he's out of contract at newcastle utd! So he certainly wouldn't be too expensive,
if indeed stevie G wanted to sign him!

5.) 02 Jun 2018 15:19:54
Adam armstrong is a player I've tipped on here before he's the type that would score loads of goals in scotland just a little guy but great finisher and puts in a proper shift! A proper number 9

6.) 02 Jun 2018 16:53:10
Ano bearnecessities the guy clearly needs to get his andy cole

7.) 03 Jun 2018 09:36:02
There’s rumours then there’s bare faced lies. I’m with LDM on this one.

8.) 03 Jun 2018 09:55:50
Of course he’ll be looking at possible signings in the UK stupid to think otherwise

9.) 03 Jun 2018 11:56:30
Armstrong would be a perfect signing

THE GAME IS LIVE TO ALL SUBSCRIBERS FROM 7PM

Goshy123

1.) 05 Jul 2018 21:25:47
Anyone know if you can stream it for free if you don’t have Rangertv?

21 Jun 2018 20:00:38
Would like rangers to sign Robert snodgrass from West Ham big upgrade on right side of midfield fee around 3 mil

Goshy123

1.) 21 Jun 2018 20:18:59
Not a bad shout Goshy123 delivers a great ball and would make us dangerous from free kicks. Seeing in this World Cup how important set plays are. We conceded plenty from set plays and don’t recall us being that dangerous from our own.

I wonder if we could afford his wages I’m sure he will be on a good pay and is he a player still in his prime or on the way down? Haven’t seen enough of him last year to comment but recall how good he was for Hull in EPL

2.) 21 Jun 2018 20:23:03
He actively supports and wants to play for Celtic

3.) 21 Jun 2018 20:40:42
If he goes anywhere it will be to Celtic, him and his fam are massive Celtic fans. I also think his best days are behind him, he’s lost a yard.

4.) 21 Jun 2018 20:58:33
Celtic already made enquiries abt snodgrass, more than £3mill though

5.) 21 Jun 2018 22:58:58
His family aren’t half Celtic fans. Played alongside his brother and there is no way he will play for us

21 Jun 2018 13:47:32
Official 2 year deal

Goshy123

1.) 21 Jun 2018 14:20:09
Sorry but am not happy we signed him. Certain things can be forgiven not that.

2.) 21 Jun 2018 14:30:10
So what things do you forgive and what things are unforgivable?
I’m sure you’ve made a few mistakes in life fintytint. What he done was abhorrent and indefensible. However everyone has the right to be rehabilitated and move on, Pretty sure he regrets every moment of it. I think if his misses can forgive him then I think so should we🤦‍♂️

3.) 21 Jun 2018 14:40:57
If gary mccallister can give him a chance then who are we to judge him? he has served his time for what he did now wants to move on . So should we!

4.) 21 Jun 2018 14:49:06
Fintytint. Did you still cheer for gazza after what he done? Give yourself peace mate.

5.) 21 Jun 2018 14:54:31
Well said colster. the lad made a big mistake but he deserves another chance. Some fans seem to have forgot gazza was involved in a domestic incident as well if my memory serves me right. But that's never brought up when we are praising him. Flanaghan is the best full back at the club now.

6.) 21 Jun 2018 15:18:06
The guy is here to play football not be judged by us mere fans.
Give the lad a break, all these fans on here who are sitting at home polishing thier bloody halo. Get a grip.

7.) 21 Jun 2018 15:19:14
mistakes? yes. Kicked a woman on the ground? No.
So cause Gary McCallister says its ok then we shouldn't judge him?
I have came across it a few times in my life and with everyone of them i can tell you these guys do not rehabilitate. So i make my judgement on experience as you are entitled to accept him as you personally may have different experiences/ opinions.
Lets just remember we were quick to brand stan collymore for what he done i don't see how this is different.

8.) 21 Jun 2018 15:29:45
Don’t go and watch him then simple!

9.) 21 Jun 2018 15:57:49
fintytint

He kicked a woman which is shocking, said woman married Flanagan, she also did not press any charges, but the police followed up due to CCTV footage.

Nobody is saying violence against women is okay because Mcallister says so, but he is that much of a horrible person that the woman he kicked chose to commit to marriage with him.

What he did was wrong and always will be, i'll judge him on hi footballing ability as long as he behaves himself during his time at our club.

10.) 21 Jun 2018 16:18:19
Well my wife has just went through me for not giving someone another chance.
I do however have personal experience with this type of crime and it still hurts, so I have an instant reaction to anyone that raises a hand to a woman.
So as the wife commands I will give the boy a chance.

11.) 21 Jun 2018 16:34:51
Well said finty!

12.) 21 Jun 2018 16:36:52
If the player has held his hands up and, accepted the punishment, and he has shown genuine remorse then why shouldn't he be able to carry on with his job and his life,
Are you saying that everyone who has committed a crime should not be able to carry on with his life in a normal way, if that was the case there would be a lot of people out there who are not working and who couldn't provide for their families, even hardened criminals are given rehabilitation to get a job and fit back into society

13.) 21 Jun 2018 16:42:02
I was disgusted when I read what Flanagan did. But now that he's signed I'll just have to trust in Gerrard and McAllisters wisdom and believe that he is truely remorseful for his actions. So let's get behind him and give hime a second chance

14.) 21 Jun 2018 16:48:47
Fair play to you finty

15.) 21 Jun 2018 21:18:36
Yes fair play dingy I'm sure a lot of people have made one mistake in life, I'm sure he will regret it and learned from it .
He will definitely get abuse from all our opposition this year but what I have seen of him, he will be a great signing .

16.) 21 Jun 2018 23:56:43
Ched Evans and also made mistakes involving females. Do they fall under the one mistake statement and deserve a second chance? (genuine question)

Realise its easy to say being opposition fan looking for an excuse to downplay a lad that was and still could be a damn good player but the two I mentioned above are exact same! Where is the line drawn?

We've taken similar stick regarding morals of Griffiths, Tonev (who never played again after accusations) and others in the past.

We all as fans make excuses for our own. But what real excuses are there for a man privileged enough to be a footballer earning a money normal folk could only dream of. And not to mention that same very privilege is the only reason he ain't in jail!

17.) 21 Jun 2018 23:57:12
Fair enough finty! Onwards and upward.

20 Jun 2018 02:57:12
3 million for tav, the best right back in Scotland why only 3 million? more like 5 or 6 million.

Goshy123

1.) 20 Jun 2018 04:59:48
Bite their hand off
Tav is the worst right back in scotland.
Can't defend. most of our goals conceded came from when he was out of position last season.
Never a defender more a midfielder and we are loaded in that dept.
Take the cash.

2.) 20 Jun 2018 07:40:22
Tavernier is not the worst right back in Scotland however I think if someone offered £3m then he would go. Not going to get £5m for a player who is unproven at English or European level

3.) 20 Jun 2018 13:07:15
ArthurD you're right, he's not the worst right back in the league, he's actually the best. Pure and simple fact.

5m minimum.

4.) 20 Jun 2018 13:39:07
dadoprs0, stats show most of our goals were lost centre to left. You're so far wrong in your assessment of Tavernier

5.) 20 Jun 2018 15:12:41
If a player scores from the left, that is our right, so would therefore be against tav

6.) 20 Jun 2018 15:13:04
Although I do like him and hope he stays

7.) 20 Jun 2018 17:12:58
Marco C centre to left of our defence. You knew that

16 Jun 2018 22:27:19
MCGREGOR for captain

Goshy123

1.) 16 Jun 2018 22:53:23
I said the same thing a month ago. Experienced, can inspire with performances and most importantly vocal. A leader on and off the park

2.) 16 Jun 2018 23:27:18
Wouldn't be against Greegsy getting it, but I think there are still things to come and it will be interesting to see how Goldson performs. Certainly happy to leave the decision to SG.

3.) 16 Jun 2018 23:27:42
So strip the captaincy from a guy who stuck by us to the detriment of his own career. to give it to a guy who walked away for nothing? Not for me.

4.) 16 Jun 2018 23:27:58
Theres no question McGregor is a decent keeper but i'm not a fan of goalkeepers being made captain.

5.) 16 Jun 2018 23:37:47
McGregor is not a captain or a natural leader. Great guy and keeper but can’t see him as captain.

Same with Wallace. stuck with us but was less than inspirational when the chips were down and his recent antics with Miller showed poor decision making.

6.) 17 Jun 2018 00:16:26
Still reckon Alves could have a part to play

7.) 17 Jun 2018 10:54:47
Wallace should never have been the captain. Got the captaincy out of courtesy and we've suffered because of it. We've had no leader for years

8.) 17 Jun 2018 18:16:48
Personally didn't want us to sign any of the players that abandoned us with the exception of Steve Davis. That includes McGregor - and you guys want to make him captain. Very short memories!

Why not sign Naismith and make him club captain?
