Just my opinion so don't take it the wrong way but i think if barton had only been suspended for a week and came back into first team, we would have won yesterday, i think we should have signed either barton or kranjcar but no both, now that niko's injured we need barton to be playing, we need a phsical workhorse in the middle of the park no offence to them but hallidays a left back and holts no physical enough.

I fully agree with you Gunnar9. I would love to see Barton back in the midfield. I think he would role the sleeves up when needed unlike the rest at the minute. Everyone hiding when it gets tough.

2.) 07 Nov 2016 15:32:30
Rossiter was growing nicely into that position, until his calf injury, 11 games he's missed now just hope he's back soon.

3.) 07 Nov 2016 15:45:22
the problem we have is not whether barton plays its unable to change tactics during or for another game other teams know how to play aainst us and our inability to defend corners and set peices when we have corners we do not always cross the ball into 6yard/ 18/ box we are missing waghorns / taverniers goals its a combination of all these factors and the managers inability to sort it out.

4.) 07 Nov 2016 16:34:21
I think the barton saga has went on too long and the player / man that he is is p*ssed off now and won't try his best for the team.
after he leaves u know he will be slating us so just get rid of him the now.

I don't want warbs sacked or to leave but do agree his stubbornness is costing us points . he must change to 4-4-1 or 4-5-1 as this formation isn't working at the top level we not consistently enough .

saying that the players themselves need a swift kick up the back side as they are playing like strangers at the minuite.

5.) 07 Nov 2016 19:29:08
Rossister managed to play good few games on the bounce in short space of time for England at euros under 19 so once fit I hope he can finish the season injury free.

6.) 07 Nov 2016 21:51:58
Jamesstirling would you blame him if he was to leave then bad mouth us, the way some so called fans have been speaking about him, he might be a physco but maybe he's right, maybe warbs has built a mid table team, no players are putting in the effort except kenny and windass, no just warbs stubborness, some of the players are terrible, mckay looks like a lost little boy anytime he gets the ball, waghorns too fat to play out wide, hallidays playing out of position, kiernans that slow ma gran can out run him wae her zimmer frame.

7.) 07 Nov 2016 23:32:43
My worry is that Warbs has a team of wimps and pansies. I do worry that he is preoccupied with playing pretty football that he sometimes forgets that the objective is to win. No one will thank him if he has a team that can't win games irrespective of how good the football is. The purest wants both, personally I don't believe that we have the players capable of that so I will be happy to settle for winning at all costs!

8.) 08 Nov 2016 12:46:05
Sorry but that's just a fairytale. A hypothetical. You can't know that. We could've lost every game since or ibrox could've floated into the sky like a UFO. Barton is trouble. The quicker he leaves, the better. It troubles me that some are so forgiving of him and yet want MW and other players axed for an average performance.

30 Oct 2016 22:22:45
If barton leaves in January i'd like to see mw try and get schwiensteiger on loan, no as if no hope jose is going to need him.

3.) 31 Oct 2016 09:42:32
are you methadone mick?

4.) 31 Oct 2016 09:45:08
My god Gunnar, never in a million years mate.

5.) 31 Oct 2016 10:03:58
we can't afford to pay 1% of what he is on at the moment, would u move to a club ( probably hasn't heard of us ) for a 99% wage drop?

heel go to an arab or china country get some real money and teams with" passion" haha jokes atmosphere in they leagues is awful.

6.) 31 Oct 2016 11:37:16
Belter cee, nearly pished myself there lol.

7.) 31 Oct 2016 13:39:45
lmao I also hope he goes in for gareth bale only one billion quid to steal him away from Madrid bargain if u ask me.

26 Oct 2016 11:52:59
If we sell barton will the money be invested back it to the team?

Gunnar9

1.) 26 Oct 2016 13:10:38
I think he would be free to a good home tbh.

2.) 26 Oct 2016 14:41:38
If there's clubs lining up for him the board won't let him leave for free, at the end of the day their business men, they'll no if he is wanted by other teams and if he is they'll try and get as much as possible for him, football is a business but to sign a player then let him leave for nothing, no wonder the clubs running at a loss, imo the whole barton things been blown outta proportion and although it looks highley unlikely i personally want him to stay, no doubt about it he's a quality player, who was still settling in, the fans are expecting too much too soon, this year let's make sure we get europe then next year we can challenge tic.

3.) 26 Oct 2016 16:17:29
At his age with his problems I can't see anyone paying anything other than his wages. And if he is not going to play i'd rather we got rid and put his wages to good use rather than being greedy over a player with no sell on value. How much do you think he is worth now out of curiosity? Based on poor form with us and seemingly being unable to stay out of the media and having a view on everything.

I can't see any way back to the first team for him now after 6 weeks or so but I wouldn't want him to just be collecting a wage for nowt. He either needs to go asap (assuming this is January) or walk away.

He should have kept his mouth shut about the incident and just apologised but he has made it difficult to come back from I think. Especially with the betting scandal on top.

He should do the decent thing and walk if that's what the club want obviously lol.

Surely its no just me that thinks the sfa shoulnae have people who run clubs as members, ie lawell and petrie, imho i think the only way Scottish football will be taken seriously is if we changed from the sfa to legends of the game who aren't doing anything as desicion makers, people like sir alex ferguson and walter smith, every team could have 1 legend of the club on the comittee instead of people who are on the sfa comittee and running clubs that said comittee is meant to rule over.

Gunnar9

1.) 06 Oct 2016 13:32:55
Agreed. This shows how corrupt Scottish football is. You need football men in these positions but not while they are affiliated with clubs in the league.

2.) 06 Oct 2016 13:45:48
Would there be any way that all fans of Scottish teams could push the sfa out of power, perhaps a petition, but itd probably need a lot of signatures.

3.) 06 Oct 2016 15:03:38
Bet it was OK when Campbell ebt ogilvie was on sfa how times have changed.

4.) 06 Oct 2016 15:35:07
Mally let's be serios every fan of every team in Scotland know the sfas corrupt, the only way any top quality players are ever going to sign for teams in Scotland again is if us as fans stand together no matter what team we support and push for change, i'm no talking about poayers that develop into top quality, i mean players that are already top quality, anyone who says letting legends of the scottish game be desicion makers is a bad idea is obviously smoking too much crack.

5.) 06 Oct 2016 16:46:24
we should get people from outside the country with no ties to any team to run it people with a vision.
that's what I've always thought but your idea is a good one with the legends of every team in there making decisions then no one could feel bullied.

bring in gazza get him aff the booze lol.

6.) 06 Oct 2016 17:09:04
Anybody know how we could force the powers thatbe at the sfa out of power, tbh the scottish games grown stale and needs major changes and investment which won't happen under the sfa,

7.) 06 Oct 2016 21:51:33
just ignore molly he's got issues as obvious from his posts on here.

8.) 06 Oct 2016 23:08:30
It is highly unlikely that Celtic and their counterparts in Edinburgh will force the SFA to change especially since the former were allegedly involved in the appointment of their own people as CEO etc.

One look at the people that are running the show and you can be very confident that they won't do any favours for Rangers!

9.) 07 Oct 2016 03:17:03
So are you going to start a petition on F. book or somewhere gunnar9?

10.) 07 Oct 2016 08:26:03
i that will shine well with the green and white, let's bring in two huge blue noses to coordinate the football. wishfull thinking laddy.

Seen somewhere chelseas offered 500000 for gilmour, if he's aloud to leave before making a first team apperance then were back to the days of losing our most promising players before they can show our fans exactly why their tipped from the top, imo mw should get him signed up on a long term deal and try and put off potential buyers, gilmour has the potential to be one of the best we've ever seen at ibrox, its just a question if he would rathe make money, or make a legacy, and if he can even fulfill his ppotential.

If he really wants to it will happen, he's already made his money, he's still a top class player, he's no far from retirement but he could want 1 last challenge before he retires, what better challenge is there than helping one of the clubs you support get back where they belong, i'm intrigued by the rumours but i will not get excited until the club announce any future signings.

Clearly no going anywhere 2 motm performances in 2 games, moh is 1 of the most direct players we have, with holt and windass also up there.

Given the chance to pick who would you rather have signed
Garner for 1.8 mIll
Or lafferty for 1 mill.

Its a mixture of both, warbs should see the amount of chances were wasting and change his tactics at least a bit.

I thought we should have signed him in the summer, he could be long term replacement for miller, i'd be happy enough paying upto what we paid for dodoo because quintoungo is a future star 100%.
