Strong rumours from a source I trust rangers are trying to get Leon Clarke on loan until the end of the season from Sheffield United.

Rangers are ready to sell Morelos and have identified a Brazilian striker called Klauss to replace him. He played on loan at HJK and is on loan at an Austrian team but the loan can be terminated for a permanent transfer.
Rangers are in relatively advanced talked with hoffenheim regarding him where he'll predominantly be back up to Defoe this season (totally different to Defoe he's 6ft4 more of a target man)

@eastbelfast I have a friend who is involved in the commercial side of rangers and he had advised that they were in discussions. I don’t know how far down the line any Morelos deal is though he had said they had discussions with hoffenheim and are confident the deal will be a goer. Haven’t seen the lad but he was described as the style of lafferty.

Not keen on this guy at all, we lose so much with Alfie as far as the way he hassles a back four. I'd be looking for something similar, pace, power, good on the turn and a real eye for goal. Don't think Klauss has most of that.

I know someone who acts on behalf of Halliday etc anyway he told me Rangers were looking to get Steven Caulker in from QPR but they need to shift Kiernan and Wilson. Supposedly Caulker has been told he'd need to take a big wage cut but would get a % of the future sell on fee
