According to the paper's daily says walker is fit to play against us.

1.) 13 Aug 2017 23:26:58
I really hope he doesn't play! It's no coincidence that hearts r terrible without walker! He at least gives them a bit of creativity

2.) 14 Aug 2017 10:12:59
if were clever we'll make another bid thursday/ friday regardless if its accepted or not it upsets hearts preparation

3.) 14 Aug 2017 21:50:04
Stop messing around and pay the million for the lad!

4.) 15 Aug 2017 11:06:21
Manager says there won't be anymore signings

5.) 15 Aug 2017 11:22:18
I think the manager said there won't be another striker signed. Walker isn't a striker so still a chance.

6.) 15 Aug 2017 11:25:27
Sorry that was a lie had read it wrong no more strikers it was. don't think waggy should have been let go if that's the case though

7.) 15 Aug 2017 11:27:47
Did he not say we won't be signing another striker Walker is a winger

8.) 15 Aug 2017 21:34:58
Just out of interest as Pedro said today no more strikers, and assuming Walker will be signed before the deadline, if money ( within a reasonable budget ) was made available for 1 more player (excluding loans) who would you sign and what position? Just askin. 🤔

9.) 15 Aug 2017 23:16:30
Hopefully get some more in soon as don't know where all the goals will come from. Mistake in selling Waghorn stats show every bit as good as Kenny Miller last season. Herrera also looks a poor mans Garner. Both on the score sheet the night definitely worth more than the million we got between them

10.) 15 Aug 2017 23:23:48
I really want walker in. Proven at this level as a goal scorer and is a clever player. Helps that he is a bear. Really want mclean in aswell as he is also a bear and can play on the left wing. Walker is more of a right wing player

11.) 16 Aug 2017 14:36:20
Really! Herrera a poor man's garner!? Garner was a headless chicken

09 Aug 2017 19:15:05
Pena allegedly homesick, could be just a rumour but something is not right.

1.) 09 Aug 2017 19:26:37
I heard he was over weight when he first came over and was told to go and get in shape whilst his work permit was getting sorted and he came back fatter than before. Not sure if there's any truth in it but it's bizarre our most expensive signing in recent years is nowhere near starting.

2.) 09 Aug 2017 20:44:40
Don't think the nightclubs in glasgow are up to his standard although when I saw him in sauchiehall street at 3 in the morning he looked in fine form.

3.) 09 Aug 2017 20:52:50
I heard the same story

He's been her for 3/ 4 weeks now surely he should be just about fit enough for Dunfermline best way to get match fit is too play football

4.) 09 Aug 2017 21:54:32
Can all you sport scientists please post your qualifications when making the assumption he should be fit after 3 to 4 weeks. WTF do any of you know on his fitness level and how long will it take to reach a suitable level and how to achieve that. Or is it a case of get a sausage supper down you and get out there, boot the ball up and someone will head it in. Get a grip, the guys looking after one of our prize assets are very well qualified in their fields although I must admit they have no qualifications on conspiracy theories. I despair sometimes. If anyone follows this up have some effing knowledge.

5.) 09 Aug 2017 22:31:20
I heard his extra training, has been to work on having less time on the ball. Supposedly Alves and midfielders working with him. To get used to being pressured more.

6.) 09 Aug 2017 23:11:56
Tjbb, for 2.5 mil I would expect him to be fit and ready to go on day one.

7.) 09 Aug 2017 23:16:25
That's what I'm led to believe r8nny. Apparently he's been struggling with the pace and physicality of the training sessions so Pedro's giving him time to acclimatise before playing him. Wise move for me because some of our support would have him written off after 1 or 2 poor performances. We knew the Mexicans would take longer than the other signings to settle in so we just need to be patient.

8.) 10 Aug 2017 00:04:50
Coldo, 2.5million is SFA for a full top quality international. Yes he has strayed in Mexico, who wouldn't - crazy country. But he has traveled thousands of miles to fight with our club, he has no family, can't speak the lingo and knows nothing of our country and game. If you ask me that takes balls. Could we do that? Give him time he could be a superstar. If it doesn't work out it won't be for the want of trying. Only Let our enemies chip away at us, please support our club and players no matter what.
Anyone willing to predict top 4 for SPL?

9.) 10 Aug 2017 07:51:39
Anyone else think we are jumping the gun a bit here. there has only been 1 league game played? It isn't like we are 15 games into a season and he has missed a ton of games. Give the guy a chance

10.) 10 Aug 2017 08:09:14
Top 4: Celtic-Rangers-Hibs-Aberdeen

11.) 10 Aug 2017 10:03:06
Its a disgrace he isn't fit to make the squad now and there's no excuses for it, an absolute disgrace!

12.) 10 Aug 2017 10:07:31
TJBB where your qualification too say he shouldn't be fit by now lmao

I never said he should be fully match fit but surely he could run on a park against Dunfermline for 45 mins and surely that would help him get some practice in for the speed of our game Does take a degree in coaching or sports science but I just some plain old commen sense. Best way to learn something is by doing it. I fully believe he will be a very good player and yes must be hard but you pay me what he's on and al go work in Outer Mongolia. He's a grown ass man home sick is for kids missing there mummy's.

13.) 10 Aug 2017 10:16:40
Tjbb, surely a top quality international should at least be fit. Why are we signing players at 2.5mil who are not fit? That doesn't make any sense at all.

14.) 10 Aug 2017 10:34:10
I appreciate the problems I do hold a science honours degree. Would you fly in an aircraft that was 75% okay, let a nearly qualified surgeon operate on you, take a 2.5 million supercar out with no oil ans 3 wheels, let Donald Trump run the free world, rubbish no that ones true.
Why would you risk our most expensive player in a game that was won in the first 10 minutes just so we can see him injured or performs poorly due to fitness then all insundry can gloat, WTF
Sport science has come a long way since the 70s, that's why KM is still playing when he is 37. Ask yourself would that have happened 30 yrs ago. These guys are athletes and have to be looked after and only when the team working on him says he is mentally and physically ready will he play.

15.) 10 Aug 2017 11:38:28
Tjbb, what you havering about, we paid 2.5mil for this guy and the only sighting we have is from a guy who hid in bushes at murray park. For 2.5mil I expect him to have 2 arms 2 legs a c@$k and baws and fully fit. oh and should be able to kick a ball aswell.

16.) 10 Aug 2017 12:02:42
"Would you fly in an aircraft that was 75% okay"
Idiotic argument. No one's going to die if he played 45 mins against Dunfermline.
For the record "nearly qualified" surgeons do operate on people.

17.) 10 Aug 2017 16:37:56
TJBB, don't know what sausage suppers and your science honours degree have to do with it. If Pena is injured and not fit we can accept that. That is not the issue. The issue is we invested £3.1m in a player who appears to have baggage on and off the park that is interfering with his ability to perform for us on the park.

18.) 10 Aug 2017 23:32:56
Jeez! Some people are desperate to slag off anything about the team. who or what are you going to pick on if Pena stars in the Celtic match?

Honestly think you guys need to take a happy pill and get real

19.) 10 Aug 2017 23:33:07
Where is this hibs giing to b third coming from! That's a few folks posted that on here! I do think they've recruited well and holding on to mcginn is a positive however!, we signed well on paper last year too! Niko, Barton etc! Wasn't as plain sailing as we had all hoped tho! And niko, Barton both played at the top level! Both have international recognition (Barton once albeit! ) niko was a star man with a cracking technically gifted Croatia side!

I honestly don't think hibs will be top 4 if i'm honest! I reckon they'll be scraping to make the top 6 come split time! And I'll be bold here and say that hearts will finish above them! They'll steady the ship with a new manager and the wee ginge will be spitting the dummy again in arguably the second biggest derby in Scotland! ! (Fighting it out with the dundee teams for that honour I think! )

20.) 10 Aug 2017 23:36:22
In my opinion the league is going like this

St johnstone

Optimistic I know but I'm a died in the wool rangers man and will always believe we can win this league! ! Especially after our performance last night as I think with morelos we have a real goal threat!

21.) 11 Aug 2017 02:27:52
St Johnstone

I expect the gap between 1st and 2nd to be at least half of last years and 2nd and 3rd to be tight with the others bunched together.

22.) 12 Aug 2017 23:51:50
Btw I think the pena situation is worrying! ! We've paid a lot of money for this guy and I have no doubt he has bags of ability but come on! Even niko after his bad injury managed a run out against the pars! And we all know niko is not the fittest at the best of times. Surely with rangers 4 or 5 nil up was the time to introduce pena with no pressure involved! Instead he comes on against his when we're down to 10 men and losing! mind boggling!

And into the bargain! I h8 losing! But I h8 losing even more to a Neil lennon team! (Was bad enough with Alan stubbs! )

06 Aug 2017 12:32:14
Niko out injured again no mention of rossiter.

1.) 07 Aug 2017 06:50:36
Isn't Rossiter away with the U20's?

09 Jul 2017 20:16:25
It would appear we are looking at a young man Utd midfielder, what is it with is guy and midfielders has he found Warburton book of tactics.

1.) 09 Jul 2017 22:07:56
Apart from ryan jack three are no one that I've seen just hope pena is different

2.) 10 Jul 2017 10:14:30
It's maybe down to the fact the midfielders that Warburton signed aren't up to the task, and that now needs to be sorted.

3.) 10 Jul 2017 20:10:39
Don't think we need a midfielder get another keeper big Wes doesn't command the area enough for me. Bring back mcgregor

4.) 12 Jul 2017 12:42:08
Play Barjonas give him a chance.

24 Jun 2017 12:56:53
According to the rags we are after Kenny McLean from the sheep,

1.) 24 Jun 2017 14:09:26
Close the gap on Celtic, not with signings like McLean!

2.) 24 Jun 2017 14:55:35
Even though his team finished closer to Celtic than we did? Nice one Ronnie

3.) 24 Jun 2017 15:13:29
I like McLean but I reckon Aberdeen would play hardball and we'd have to pay decent coin for him

4.) 24 Jun 2017 15:49:42
RonnieR9 can you explain that comment? McLean knows the Scottish game inside out. He's better than what we have at the moment. As excited as I am about Pena and the other signings how do we know that they will hit the ground running and settle immediately?

5.) 24 Jun 2017 16:28:15
I'll say it time and time again, Mclean is very underrated. Very good box to box player.

6.) 24 Jun 2017 16:52:04
not saying he won't improve the team, just think that there are better players out there in the £1-£1.5m bracket with more quality. dorrans for one is a better player.

7.) 24 Jun 2017 18:33:02
Ronnie, the age factor makes Mclean worth it.

8.) 24 Jun 2017 20:20:43
RonnieR9 who would you rather we sign? McLean is a crackin player would have him in a minute

9.) 24 Jun 2017 21:21:02
Ronnie, your thinking is way off. Just because a player doesn't come from a team that perform better than Celtic doesn't mean they won't improve us. Caniggia, Novo, Boyd, McCann, the lost goes on of players that played for other SPL teams and they never made us any weaker

10.) 25 Jun 2017 00:28:19
Stu is blu your argument is pointless as there is a list of players who have made us weaker. It's all about opinions and I just happen to think he isn't much better than what we already have.

11.) 25 Jun 2017 01:01:43
Your trying to say he isn't better than Halliday, Forrester, Windass etc.? I would say we've had far more players from outwith teams in Scotland that have been duds compared to players who know the league

12.) 25 Jun 2017 04:00:29
I'd like dorrans. I also believe he'll sign soon. Can't see Pedro not pushing deal through for an extra few hundred grand, that is who he obviously wants. McLean is also good (not our 1st choice though)

13.) 25 Jun 2017 10:13:14
I would put McLean in the bracket between better than what we had last year and not good enough to close gap on Ceptic. Dorrans is in the bracket of good enough to match and catch them and has a far better pedigree and ability than Kenny McLean who is good but not great

The manager talks about team yet Declan john scores twice and he doesn't celebrate, yet when candeias scores he's up hugging him, doesn't show team spirit to me.

1.) 30 Sep 2017 10:51:12
1st point dj didn't run across to the manager to celebrate, does that make him not back the manager
2nd point pc was choked with the flu it's been well publicised that's why he was understated.
3rd point after the week that's happened getting criticised for going mental at the players after a tonking at the weekend do you blame him, our support must be the most fickle support in the world, can't believe some of the things i'm reading regarding only celebrating with that player, all the players celebrated just so happens people want pedro out so much they pick stupid things and stupid ideas

2.) 30 Sep 2017 11:40:47
Pedro is a donkey and these Miller shenanigans are the proof.

Beating a poor Hamilton team 4-1 hasn't changed anything.

I hope he stays but fear he will be gone by November, one motherwell pap them out the Diddy cup.

25 Sep 2017 20:39:17
Hamilton are without 1st choice keeper and three of their midfielders, if we don't get a result on Friday there are no excuses.

1.) 25 Sep 2017 21:46:26
Partick were without there 1st choice keeper and abt 4 outfield players and there top goalscorer left on the bench and it took us til extra time to beat them

2.) 26 Sep 2017 12:48:38
Sorry I was all for backing Pedro the money spent I thought we would be doing a lot better than we are people's confidence in him are waining I don't think he's up to job hope he proves us all wrong but I doubt it also people are entitled to their opinion if they don't think he's up to it not told to shut up and stop moaning

3.) 26 Sep 2017 16:01:41
Hey guys, let's all get a grip here and get behind the team and manager, we should be supporting our team to the hilt, encouraging them and letting them hear our voices in every game, I'm older and remember a certain Alex Ferguson going to manage Man Unt, that first season 1987 they finished 11th in the league, managed the 4th round of FA cup and shocking in league cup, yes the fans wanted him out, the rest is history, it takes time to progress, it takes time for players to adjust as a unit, a squad of players all require to know how every member of that squad play to their individual strength and within a team, this can take the manager more than a season to achieve, and he requires the backing of the chairman, board, and most of all the fans, the true supporters of our team, I still back PC and I'm behind him all the way because I feel he will get there, we must show encouragement though. shoot me down if you must however think about this how many of you have tried to master a new job a new team at work a new lifestyle, it is hard, but time brings rewards. I just think we are lucky to still have our beloved Rangers so let's be United behind them.

4.) 26 Sep 2017 17:23:53
Sorry but he isn't the man for the job and the board made a big mistake appointing him. His record is awful and the loss to Progres was the worst in the clubs history. There is no passion in the team, no pace in the team and no real creativity. He has reduced us to the level of Hearts and Hibs and under him we will be battling for 3rd/ 4th or 5th spot.

5.) 26 Sep 2017 18:05:33
nice post buzultra can't agree more! yes pedro may not be up to it but whoever takes over will have the same problem trying to manage and build new team. we are not psg or man city we don't have the resources yet but we will be back of that i am sure! as sure as i was when the poop hit the fan that we would be back and hey were on the road a long road but there all the same. we have some excellent staff on board now shudder to think of where we were 2/ 3 years ago but we are getting stronger from the roots uo i really believe that. its hard at times but and always will be

6.) 28 Sep 2017 01:01:05
Pedro ain't the man to close the gap on Celtic, we need a clever manager who can get the most out of average players, and I'm afraid that's a quality Pedro ain't got.

7.) 27 Sep 2017 23:31:30
I see the old fergie analogy getting brokered above! Trust me, pedro is not going to do a fergie! Pmsl

24 Sep 2017 12:21:19
Sorry fellow bears i am probably going to get pelters but we are all allowed our opinion and we all want what's best for our club but we are never going to win anything with Pedro teams aren't afraid of us especially at ibrox and i totally agree with guy about how they behave after games the board have no spine could you see lawell letting us behave like that no chance souness get your consortium together and give us some pride back.

1.) 24 Sep 2017 12:50:24
Jake totally agree. The team are weak and have not improved 1 bit since pc took over other teams sense weakness and have a go radical changes needed starting with pc

2.) 24 Sep 2017 13:42:02
The current team are timid and frightened of Celtic. No heart in the team and it was embarrassing to see so many heads fall once they scored. The players, management and some fans on here meekly accept defeat to them. I can't ever recall any Rangers team lying down to them as much as we have since Pedro took over. 3 defeats to them without a whimper utterly shocking

3.) 24 Sep 2017 13:42:37

23 Sep 2017 15:26:21
Sorry guys predictive text, it should have been dorrans started to put the boot in.

23 Sep 2017 15:14:50
Big halves bottle merchant watched against partick he couldn't wait to get off, well done young mcrorrie, Hobson is dire torchered all day without putting in a challenge, for get Herrera slow can't jump, for fans starts to put the boot in in extra time and forget Pedro, the board must show some bottle and accept that they made a mistake, this is not rangers we are watching it just eleven guys with blue jerseys, where is the heart where is the passion we are Glasgow Rangers.

1.) 23 Sep 2017 15:32:02

Couldn't agree more mate a team full of imposters. Absolutely no heart today and to allow Brown to stroll about is symptomatic of how far we have fallen. We meekly lie down to them these days and it's now a case of them just getting the points without breaking sweat.

Hartson can't get over the fact we didn't sign him, anything we do he criticises us.
