This is another one I’d like to see happen. Tall, strong, works very hard, has a bit of dig, still young, etc. these are the types of signings we should’ve made last summer to inject youth and freshness throughout the team. Instead, we gave new contracts to guys well into their 30s and the stagnation continued. We MUST freshen up this side. We MUST recruit young players with potential in order to maintain a player trade model that works.
I really hope we get this window right. Beale is a good coach but the recruitment needs to be a lot better now, and moving forward.

As much as we would be an awesome signing I can’t see it happening. He was in and around the first team last season. If going out on loan I would imagine he would stay in the epl to do so. Just adding to it, how are we supposed to grow the Scottish game when some of the biggest and most watchable games aren’t even shown on tv? It would be so easy to advertise with both teams going for Europe, hearts pumping them last time out, hibs picking up form, hearts sacking their manager, always high goals, cards, big tackles etc. Sky do the bare minimum and only generally show rangers and Celtic as it’s the easiest audience. Our game will never improve with them as our tv sponsor. They never do anything above and beyond to promote and push our game to be better.

Seen a lot of comments regarding beale not being the right man or not experienced enough. I disagree, he was here before knows the players, players know him, knows the club. I don't think its a risk at all, think its more risky taking in a manager that doesn't have experience in scotland, and doesn't know what rangers are all about.
Just hope he gets the backing in the transfer windows, and goes in there and gets us pressing up high and playing quick attacking football. As lately its slow and boring to watch.

I'll wish him all the best and hope it works out. Just remember though, although he knows the club and the majority of the players from his previous role at Ibrox, the vast majority of those players will be off in January or June. As such I wouldn't put too much emphasis on previous relationships.

Would suggest being there for about 11:00/ 11:15 some might already be there but most seem to drift in from about then up until 11:45 in my experience. If they aren’t in the match day squad you get some players arriving later, between about 1:30 and 2:00. You can tell I’ve been there with my own child! Sometimes easier catching them after the game but there wi be more people at that time and can take a while for those that actually stop to get around everyone. Good luck mate.

All the talk about signings, can't see us spending hardly anything unless we get champions league. All the money made last season will be settling the books from losing millions the 2 seasons before.
They keep going on about this business model, selling atleast one player a season so we can reinvest in bringing new players in. But we can't seem to get decent bids for any of our players. And letting our biggest assests contracts run down, is quite worrying aswel. As if we was to sell we wouldn't get top money for them.
I personally think gvb has maybe 4/ 5 million to spend just now which might increase if we qualify for champions league.

I doubt that any of us know the true financial position so it is all guesswork. As for not making any money on Transfers, we did not too bad on Patterson and from what I remember, Gerrard was quite insistent that we didn't sell any of our top players last Season which is why we now see Aribo, Kent and Morelos approaching the final year of their contracts.
For what it is worth I believe that Morelos will sign a new contract, no inside information, just gut feel.

This window, def need 2 strikers and a right winger. And also Aribo, bassey, morelos, kent getting a new contract.
And hopefully sell the players that are not up to it.

Colak has started the season off great, but its far too early to even suggest he's a upgrade on alfredo.
