Hi Bears, i watched the Aberdeen game tonight. thought they should have scored half a dozen against maribor. we will need to be sharp defensively against them or we will get punished. On a brighter note the defence wasn't brilliant and Waggy and co will rip them apart!

Had a great day on saturday, took my 4 yeear old daughter to the game for her first game. she loved it! shame about the idiot behind us in BR3 that couldn't stop swearing! what makes the family stand attract such idiots? seriously considering not taking her back even though she loved it. don't want her coming out with anything the idiot said when sh is at school.

Take up flower arranging, or buy ear muffs, it's the way it is bro, or you can go to tik park plenty of empty seats with no one around except tumble weeds, lol.

Whilst I agree that swearing is inevitable at football grounds, isn't the family stand an area where you are supposed to be able to take children to in the hope of avoiding that sort of language.

6.) 29 Feb 2016 21:49:57
Agreed Albertz. I think the word Family should mean that swearing is not inevitable. Unfortunately it's another reason to stop some kids getting to games. And I've been to grounds where I've not heard any swearing, so it is possible.

When in the Family Stand last season, my 11 year old was swearing at me to get him out. And I don't blame him. His language is a lot better this year.

Sit in Copland f and all last year had an old boy behind me who shouted abuse at Lee mcculloch non stop, EVEN when he wasn't playing lol! I wasn't the only one telling him to shut the f up.

Swearing is sometimes used to express your passion where other words fail. However, the lady sat behind me and my son must have had tourettes and anger issues. Every time the St mirren lad with pink boots was on the ball she wanted his f***ing legs snapped!
My boy knew he wasn't to repeat but we were also in the family stand. All said, the game was an excellent start to the season and the atmosphere was unbelievable which the wee man will not forget.
