Joe Worral deal done and agreed. Medical tomorrow and announced either tomorrow or Friday 💙.

Kyrgiakos

1.) 29 Aug 2018 21:34:45
Cannot find any news anywhere to back that up.

2.) 29 Aug 2018 21:50:24
It’s in the Sun.

3.) 29 Aug 2018 21:50:32
The Daily Rebel are claiming that the loan deal has been complete and he is up for medical tomorrow.

4.) 29 Aug 2018 21:55:21
It's in the press.

5.) 30 Aug 2018 03:49:38
Can't believe the number of fans who still quote the Rhebel and the S*n as sources of news on Rangers. Don't give these rhags the oxygen lads!

6.) 30 Aug 2018 09:03:33
Reported that a fee of £2m for a year loan deal? . surely that means playing the guy, so looks like there will be some changes at the back, as we won’t lay out that fee as a back up player to Nico and Goldson.

7.) 30 Aug 2018 09:34:01
This is all news from two or three days ago - which began in the Daily Mail - there is no new news on Worral. I still think it depends on how Europa games pan out.

8.) 30 Aug 2018 12:19:11
Unfortunately unlike you dutycalls I am not in the inner circle at ibrox and rely on the local press and rumours websites for transfer chat,

9.) 30 Aug 2018 13:53:01
Sorry to disappoint you in your daft ramblings, Baz the bear, but I'm not in the inner circle at Ibrox either. I just prefer to get my news, debate and discussion from any other source (and there are many more reliable) than these two rhags which despise our club. I wouldn't buy them, read them, click on them, quote them or use them for toilet paper. But if you think it's a good idea to support these fetid Smeltic minded journals, feel free.

10.) 30 Aug 2018 13:56:36
agree papers talk total gash. no fact checking . or even spell checking.

they just create anything to sell a paper.

11.) 30 Aug 2018 14:22:10
Best news feed I have is SG - I have found him to be 100% spot on with his signings. When a newspaper prints a rumour then another paper or site quotes that rumour it does not make it right. You have to use the grey matter to sift between the dross.

Ufa FC 0 - 2 Rangers FC.

23 Aug 2018 22:46:52
Gerrard saying in his post match interview that he plans to get Lee Wallace match fit and keep him as part of the squad which is great news imo. Won’t be a starter but good back up to Borna and much better option than Halliday who’s been not bad recently tbf but would still rather Wallace as back up.

25 Jul 2018 00:14:27
Kean Bryan supposedly on the radar now, young left sided CB at Man City in the last 12 months of his contract.

Kyrgiakos

1.) 25 Jul 2018 08:58:05
Am I the only one concerned with the lack of real quality coming in! We badly need a quality midfielder to boss the midfield and a finisher up top!

2.) 25 Jul 2018 09:34:52
Couple of my friends were talking about Bryan last night. Agree about the finisher Ronnie but S. G. knows that I'm certain he has some sort of assurances about 1 though, he's too professional to just leave us with just Morelos and Umar.

3.) 25 Jul 2018 09:46:56
Agreed Ronnie. It's obvious we're crying out for a striker yet everyday we're linked with another wide/ midfield player. I know the windows open for a while yet, but I am concerned as Morelos can't be trusted this season and SG looks like he's going to play Windass out of position. Also, dare I say it, we still need a SG/ Scott Brown type in the middle - out of all the midfielders we have, we're still lightweight.

4.) 25 Jul 2018 10:00:32
How do you no koulibaly isn’t the midfielder to boss it?

5.) 25 Jul 2018 10:39:52
If it’s true that clubs are interested in windass then we should be looking at getting him out the door and using the money to bring in a better replacement!

6.) 25 Jul 2018 10:42:35
Sirstruth of course we can’t trust Morelos! Hopefully the new striker has more to offer! Ryan jack and young mccrory in midfield this season fills me with utter dread!

7.) 25 Jul 2018 10:45:26
Is the three million quid that is rumoured to be what we want for Windass going to really bring in a player that is a lot better? Three million gets you hee haw from down south.

8.) 25 Jul 2018 10:51:39
in answer to your question! Of course there is quality out there for 3m! But please no more young inexperienced loans.

9.) 25 Jul 2018 10:55:53
3 million would get quality from croatia/ denmark etc, down south is the worst market ever, we need to develop players to sell to the down south market.

10.) 25 Jul 2018 11:33:59
SG plays windass out of position?

For me, windass is underwhelming in every position he plays.

If you look at his goals from last season, most come from him using his pace running onto a cross. However, if that scenario doesn't arise, he offers little else.

SG is trying to get more out of him. A luxury player we cannot afford.

11.) 25 Jul 2018 11:41:57
We were promised a revolution. That incredible names would come here on the back of Gerrard.

Hard truth is that hasn't happened. No one wants to come to Rangers any more. Not even Gerrard makes any difference to that.

12.) 25 Jul 2018 12:33:53
Alan Hanson said u don't win anything with boys in the team man u had world class plays to go along with the class of 92.

I fear we are going to get bullied by the wiser footballers this year, hope i'm wrong.
where has all the season ticket money gone? what heave we actually spent net? not that much.

my pint glass in half empty, rather see it half full but cant.

13.) 25 Jul 2018 15:15:59
Brooke Vincent though.

14.) 25 Jul 2018 16:16:02
Totally agree with people saying the young loan signing aren’t giving much hope for improving this season can someone give me one good loan young consistent loan signing we have made over the last 6 years?

15.) 25 Jul 2018 20:55:19
Sally will never let Sophie move up here, not with wee Rosie already up here. It would drive poor Kevin back to drink.

22 Jul 2018 12:50:33
Ryan Kent at the training ground right now. Hopefully announced today.

Kyrgiakos

1.) 22 Jul 2018 13:24:08
Announced, year loan.

2.) 22 Jul 2018 13:25:59
It's been announced now.

3.) 22 Jul 2018 13:39:35
Just read he’s in line to make his debut on Thursday. Or of interest does anyone know if we have clearance for Coulibaly and Sadiq yet?

4.) 22 Jul 2018 13:49:22
Does anyone know if any of the loan deals have a view to a perminant deal?

5.) 22 Jul 2018 14:13:01
Mprent i'm sure coulibally and sadiq got clearance couple days ago😁.

6.) 22 Jul 2018 14:37:25
klopps just signed kent up on a long term deal so i doubt there will be an option to buy donny - not sure about other lads

am excited to see kent pull the jersey on for us looks like an old fashioned winger tricky and fast

i’ve seen a few crackers in my time. cooper walters lauders wee terry mccann, if kent can do half the job those greats did i’ll be delighted.

7.) 22 Jul 2018 14:59:29
Cheers Sangil. Was asking because I was reading that prematch report thing in the sun and it only mentioned he was in line for a debut and arfield would miss.

8.) 22 Jul 2018 18:54:08
Klopp signed gin on A long term deal last year but feels that Liverpool so not his grade anytime soon and needs 3 season of first team football to be even close to be considered. I was on a stag 2 weeks ago with guys who know the family and boy and that was what he has been told. This was all before rangers interest, they were saying he will go on loan with an option to buy somewhere but they believed Liverpool will insist on a % of next sale or a buy back clause. Just passing on as I was asking about Wilson and we got on to Kent and at that time there was no discussion of us.

08 Jul 2018 21:34:14
Sadiq and Coulibaly to be confirmed before Thursdays game.

Kyrgiakos

1.) 08 Jul 2018 23:19:41
thought coulibaly was supposedly signing for metz

2.) 09 Jul 2018 07:37:39
Coulibaly to Metz is his back up option if he doesn't get a work permit for us

Seen a video on twitter of a Northern Ireland fan with Steve Davis asking him if he wants to come back to Rangers and he said hopefully one day. 👀.

Kyrgiakos

1.) 10 Sep 2018 12:28:25
Hopefully one day? Bit late.

2.) 10 Sep 2018 15:24:48
Think that ship has sailed just can't see how he got in to our current style tremendous in the past thought what a talent.

3.) 10 Sep 2018 21:21:25
He’d be a much better option than Dorrans tbh, wouldn’t start every game but would be tremendous in the squad.

4.) 11 Sep 2018 14:29:30
Ref wouldn't let steve davis play for us his snooker cue took take someones eye out!

20 Aug 2018 23:49:36
Think a move for Jordan Jones should maybe be resurrected following Murphy’s injury. Would be a decent member of the squad.

Kyrgiakos

1.) 21 Aug 2018 05:51:59
Wouldn’t be my first or last choice. Can be good on his day but also very predicable at times.

2.) 21 Aug 2018 07:55:55
I think Jones is very good when he has space to play or run into. Most teams sit in against us and deny us space. He’s decent but no good enough for Rangers IMO. I’d rather we developed Middleton more.

3.) 21 Aug 2018 08:34:23
Agree LDM17 give Middleton a chance.

4.) 21 Aug 2018 08:54:34
Jones is nowhere near good enough, if we wanted a pacy player who will offer nothing we could have kept O'Hallaron.

5.) 21 Aug 2018 10:48:40
Jones would be a good addition to the squad in my opinion. can't really think of any other viable options. if we could get him for 5-600k then would be well worth it. Middleton will get chances however he needs to be managed well. If another winger was to pick up a knock we would be in trouble.

6.) 21 Aug 2018 12:58:03
Middleton could step up but we still need another winger to cover him.

7.) 21 Aug 2018 13:52:12
I'm more concerned if Goldson or Katic pick up a knock then who is stepping in because it will leave a massive weak spot.

07 Aug 2018 21:32:04
Now being linked with Bosnian forward Armin Hodzic from Dinamo Zagreb. Was at Liverpool when Gerrard was there.

Kyrgiakos

1.) 07 Aug 2018 21:53:02
He's got a good goals to game ratio,
thats for sure!

2.) 07 Aug 2018 23:09:59
Hope you are right kirgiakos, I think hodzic would be great for us.

3.) 08 Aug 2018 01:31:49
I watched a compilation of his goals for zagreb on youtube, now before anyone says so, i know these things aren't particularly reliable and we don't know about the standard of opposition etc, but what stood out for me was the variety of goals he scored. Headers, shots from outside the area, penalties, goals with both feet and last but not least, tap ins - anyone can score them but the art is in being at the right place at the right time. If he comes he could be a great signing. this team is starting to excite me.

4.) 08 Aug 2018 06:34:44
@ayrranger

I watched that clip and totally agree on your view!

No3 of the 49 was an absolute belter.

5.) 08 Aug 2018 08:01:57
Also agree he looks a good all rounder.

6.) 08 Aug 2018 09:36:30
Where did we sign dado from. Croatian league?

7.) 08 Aug 2018 09:54:14
Monaco I think.

02 Aug 2018 11:54:06
I dunno why but I’ve got a sneaky feeling that Defoe might still be on the radar.

Kyrgiakos

1.) 02 Aug 2018 12:15:30
He basically just ruled it out.

2.) 02 Aug 2018 13:17:11
Sounds like he never was.

13 Jul 2018 20:14:46
Can’t help but think we are in need of some left footed players to give some balance to the team. Every player last night was right footed which saw a lot of cutting inside. Not sure who tbh but just feel it’s what we need

Kyrgiakos

1.) 13 Jul 2018 20:25:10
Totally agree hence why I would play 3 at the back to allow John to play in a 5 in midfield. Also maybe Middleton wide as they are only 2 left footed players available. Clearly the manager won't drop tav to allow Flanagan to play his normal right back position so sacrificing our true left footed player in John to give Flanagan a game. .

2.) 13 Jul 2018 21:38:29
C. f bear.
Totally agree we could play 3 at the back and move Tav into midfield.
Rather than play John in midfield I would like to see Middleton play and move Murphy to the right.
We did lack balance on the left and composure upfront.
The positives were - we kept a clean sheet and won plus Ejaria and Middleton did well when they came on.
It was only the first competitive game of the season so patience is key.

3.) 13 Jul 2018 22:02:11
Young guy Middleton looks a player and glad to hear SG singing praises of macrorie. I've said on here there's a player in Windass but I'm fed up waiting. If we get a decent offer I would shake his hand and wish him awe the best.

4.) 13 Jul 2018 22:38:04
Flanagan is far superior to declan john!

5.) 14 Jul 2018 07:25:50
IMO moving to 3 at the back unfortunately leaves no room for wingers in the team unless you go 3-4-3 and they play wide of a striker. I’d rather pack the midfield with 3 quality central players and have two up top. Murphy could play off a front man as could Windass and even Morelos but we need a goal machine, fingers crossed it’s Sadiq!

6.) 14 Jul 2018 08:13:50
Middleton and the youngster from Liverpool looked a very exciting combo when they came on . would lov
To see again

7.) 14 Jul 2018 09:20:59
Totally agree jzer but he's also a better right back than tav and we r short in left footed players . If we r sticking with a 442 I would play John and play flnnaghan at right back and move tav forward. Means Candeias or windass need to go but they shouldn't be playing anyway.

Watched the hockey World Cup recently and their system is so good for video reviews. Refs mic’d up with one video referee assisting the ref’s decision. Each team gets one referral, if it’s correct they keep it and lose it if not. Much much better way of working it than the farcical system now.

Kyrgiakos

{Ed039's Note - I do believe a referral system is a good way to go or a challenge system similar to tennis or cricket even, where the captain decides whether to challenge a decision)

A few bites there 😅 just a thought. We’re a much bigger club than most premier league teams, just crazy tv money down there makes them seem bigger. Maybe looking for a new challenge. But yeah wages would **** it
