I work with a guy that knows Shane ferguson personally and he says Shane is a Celtic fan. His contract is up at the summer but we have zero chance of securing him. He went to school with him and showed me the texts and his Facebook!

L3mst3r

1.) 14 May 2015 13:56:58
And what has that got to do with anything? It's common knowledge where he is from but that didn't stop him coming up on loan not his fault he didn't get to play!

2.) 14 May 2015 14:56:54
A wouldn't want him at rangers anyway been here since january and did nothing but take a wage we should be looking elsewhere anyway don't want some1 who supports them playing for our great club watp

3.) 14 May 2015 15:18:24
what has that got to do with anything? sorry hooly didn't know the posts had to follow your criteria.

he would be the best winger in the country and shane himself said he should be fit for hibs.

I would love to get him tbh

4.) 14 May 2015 17:07:52
Lol no bother L3mst3r, scottym87 you do realise other players over the years have supported celtic but still give there all for are club while wearing the blue jersey and vice versa and as for the wages it's not his fault! I for one would welcome a fit Shane Ferguson at ibrox! But like L3 says it won't happen for a number of reasons,

12 May 2015 09:52:01
Should he be confirmed as Rangers manager next season, Stuart McCall could make a summer move to sign 24-year-old Inverness Caledonian Thistle winger Marley Watkins.

L3mst3r

1.) 12 May 2015 12:29:22
Is he any good no seen him play any other ideas for players we are looking at

2.) 12 May 2015 13:32:07
I've never seen him either mate but a quick google search he seems to be a winger and wanted by hearts as well as a few clubs in the championship.

3.) 12 May 2015 13:58:16
He played brilliantly against Celtic in the cup semi final.

4.) 12 May 2015 15:13:22
Kl well that's what we r needing younger players a think templeton could be on his way out aswel just doesn't perform so a new winger will be needed alike that boy cifti at dundee utd get stuck into the manky mob aswel could do a job for us

{Ed039's Note - Cifcti is not a winger and would cost money)

5.) 12 May 2015 20:00:44
A know he ain't a winger but a striker is needed aswel we need a whole new team to be fair lol but surely we must have some money to spend this year

08 May 2015 20:39:54
Heard a rumour today, not by a undercover journo or anything, just a person at a lodge (not my scene) told me that cuellar has been offered to rangers. Isn't he at a club?

L3mst3r

1.) 09 May 2015 11:41:02
He is out of contract this summer. He is at Norwich but tends to be on the bench. If Norwich go up thru the playoffs then he may stay. I personally think he would be a great signing, as we need one experienced defender in the centre. Like how we had weir.
Doubt he would come tho, as wages will still be too high

2.) 10 May 2015 00:04:43
Seville didn't want him for any more than 15k a few years ago and wouldn't be lead down the overinflated english wage structure garden path . He will be close to mid 30s by next season with about a half yard of pace left. He could take elbows place with change and fits the signing policy perfectly.
My mate touted the same rumour to me the other day. I said to him "seems if its management cv hunting or player scouting then get the credit card out, scrap a headhunter, scrap a scouting network just tear the rangers pages out every one of your old panini sticker albums, put on a blindfold and throw a dart"
(Could of just rumbled jrtennents rumour mill technique there :) )
hey presto

3.) 10 May 2015 13:08:14
Lol well he is getting on a bit and his options and salary expectations must be dropping. I would much rather finish my career at rangers steadying the ship rather than having a go in the English championship.

4.) 11 May 2015 11:51:04
He is at Norwich at the moment but is out of contract in the Summer and Alex Neil has said he probably won't be there next season regardless if they are in the Premiership or Championship

5.) 11 May 2015 19:45:11
he is out of contract in august

6.) 13 May 2015 18:29:58
Cuellar & Bougherra are constantly linked with returns. Is it not time we brought Ewan Chester back and found the new versions of them both?

15 Apr 2015 07:39:33
Speculation that Macleod could be heading back to rangers on a cut price deal.

Personally I would love to get him back.

L3mst3r

1.) 15 Apr 2015 10:31:20
L3mst3r ----- please tell us ---- WHO is speculating and where can I read it!!--- thank you

2.) 15 Apr 2015 11:12:01
Heard this one doing the rounds over the past few weeks, he has never been involved in the Brentford set up and with their manager off at the end of the season, it might just be possibility

3.) 15 Apr 2015 13:36:22
Something about it on Ibrox noise. but outwith written press there does seem to be a feel for this. although you can't provide proof for a rumour.

4.) 16 Apr 2015 22:50:04
Wee got what wee wanted some needed cash would take him back tommorro for cut price deal

5.) 18 Apr 2015 11:20:55
Will return to ibrox with warburton and weir as management team

07 Apr 2015 16:02:47
Rumours circulating that has vuckic wants to be at Ibrox next season. Not sure in which capacity but I personally would love to take him permanently. Would become the new hero or talisman!

L3mst3r

1.) 07 Apr 2015 16:23:22
Can't see it happening as Ashley won't let it so no chance

Glad we finally have movement on Dave king and this fulfils 1 of my prophecies!

Now onto my second prophecy, the eagerly anticipated investment package. my thoughts were it would be in the summer, quite likely after the playoffs and when rangers fans are being asked for season ticket money.

I would be happy for 15m from lung and investors with 10 mil season ticket money, for this 1 season. With more next season

L3mst3r

1.) 19 May 2015 19:22:41
Not much of a prophecy Nostrabamus.Only about 98pc of fans I reckon, thought he'd be passed fit and proper.Geez the lottery numbers and you might be onto something.

2.) 19 May 2015 19:25:56
A snippet from kings statement:

"I thank the Scottish FA for their diligence in this matter and now it is time to look ahead and map out Rangers' future," he said.

"However, I will elaborate on that in the coming days because there should be no distractions ahead of tomorrow night's match at Ibrox."

Before you start moaning he has been fit and proper for nearly 3 whole hours and there's "no transparency" expect word from him in the coming days about our clubs future

3.) 19 May 2015 20:09:47
I'll tell you 1 thing gkk, I won't even touch betting on the game tomorrow I genuinely couldn't even guess a score.

19 May 2015 17:00:04
King has passed the SFA's fit and proper test as per the BBc and is expected to take up the role as chairman :)

Rangers Vs Hibs

what would you do with the team for tomorrows game?

McCall will be wanting to go for a 3-5-2 but the only option would be with smith as left back and wallace in the middle (who would use mcculloch or moshni!) but this wouldn't work with my chosen strikers.

my team would be a 442

same as sunday but with Boyd replacing Clark.

what would you guys go with?

L3mst3r

1.) 19 May 2015 13:44:09
ld play bell smith mgregor mohsni forster wallace hutton murdoch vuckic law miller and bring on temp clark obviously I know y folk don't want mohsni playin but were even worse without him i'm pretty sure he wasnt playing when they ripped us 4-0

2.) 19 May 2015 14:03:29
My team would be as follows

Bell GK
Forster RB
Mcgregor CB
Wallace CB
Smith LB
Walsh RW or Templeton
Law CM
Black CM or murdoch
Shiels LW or McKay
Vukic CF
Miller CF or Boyd

I think we need experience and speed on wings and a strong defence that's the best of a bad lot in my team a would love to have better than what we got

3.) 19 May 2015 14:09:46
Would like to see young Walsh in from the start and vuckic playing through the middle,Ive backed us to win 3.1 (can't see us keeping a clean sheet)with vuckic to score 1st scorecast pays 75/1 hopefully clear enough to pay for tomorrow's trip and to bring the grandson up for the motherwell game onwards and upwards.

4.) 19 May 2015 14:43:15
I see Mccall going for the 352 like the last time we played hibs;
GK:Bell
RWB:Foster
CB:Mcgregor
CB:Zaliukas
CB:Streete
LWB:Wallace (C)
CM:Murdoch
CM:Law
CAM:Shiels
CF:Vuckic
ST:Miller
I think we can win with this with the wingbacks, both attack-minded, playing a key role and not having to be as concerned about getting back with 3CB's to cover. Plus prefer to see big vuckic further up as he has the best scoring record of our forward players.

5.) 19 May 2015 14:45:53
Templeton? McKay? What makes people think McCall is going to turn to them for the Play Offs when he has not used them up to now? It will be the same players in a slightly different formation. No surprises.

6.) 19 May 2015 15:26:08
Andbak

I think you've come up with the best line up available. Only concern would be Streete's match fitness. He did look very decent in the first half of the game he did play. I think you've a lot of industry there and I think this line up would pose Hibs problems. Hope wee Stuart reads these blogs! Wishful thinking!

7.) 19 May 2015 15:27:28
Sonofoger - you wouldn't play Shiels?

8.) 19 May 2015 15:27:34
It worked the last time, they were lost when we squeezed the midfield. The boy Allan never got a sniff, not pretty on the eye but who cares?I'm a bit worried about the boy Cummings running away from Zaliukas though.Like the wee lay out Andbak, with the wee c in brackets incase we all forget Wallace is the captain.Nice touch.

9.) 19 May 2015 18:42:08
Bell
Foster macgregor zaliukas Wallace
Law Murdoch shiels
Vuckic miller
Gallagher

Sometimes a bit of youth is a good thing

10.) 19 May 2015 20:54:56
Bell

McGregor Zaliukas Streete

Foster. Wallace

Murdoch. Shiels. Law

Vuckic. Miller

10 May 2015 22:03:41
Liam's team ratings vs qots

Bell 6 - lost footing for the goal, made some decent stops but didn't look full of confidence. Decent outing.

Foster 7 - got an assist and made some decent challenges could improve defensively. Decent game.

McGregor 8 - won most headers and a few good tackles. Mr reliable.

Zaliukas 8 - commanded this game more than previous games, seen a lot of the ball, won headers and made good tackles. For me best defender vs qots

Wallace 7 - didn't see much of Wallace but kept the ball well and looked comfortable in new role.

Smith 7 - apart from the goal didn't offer much, didn't get forward as much as Wallace does as wing back but played a good passing game.

Law 6 - offered nothing going forward passed the ball back most of the game, made a few challenges but not comfortable at the moment.

Shiels 7 - looks very committed, worked hard and helped run the midfield. Good performance capped with a goal.

Murdoch 8 - cracking player and stuck to Carmichael the whole game. High work rate and solid performance. My man of the match.

Vuckic 6 - rangers most creative player doesn't have the pace to beat players made some good runs with some good touches. Didn't really do anything even though he seen a lot of the ball. Needs to learn how to beat defenders to become a special player.

Miller 6 - usual high work rate, had the ball in the net but ruled offside. Looked most likely to score for rangers. Decent performance.

What would you guys say?

L3mst3r

1.) 11 May 2015 07:46:09
think your not far away defence better without maculloch crawford done ok when he came on would like to know story about maculloch

2.) 11 May 2015 09:03:50
Think you have been a bit generous with some of the marks. Thought it was a dreadful game to watch and need for wholesale changes in the summer. Great goal from Smith however not his greatest fan but what a strike

3.) 11 May 2015 12:13:50
It wasn't a great spectacle by any means but the high marks was defensively. We could easily have taken a clean sheet to ibrox which is nothing short of a miracle considering we conceded 5 goals with none scored at the last 2 games at palmerston.

4.) 11 May 2015 12:51:39
Agree with stepwise.you must be stevie smiths love child.lol.apart from the goal he was ganking.it was a terrible game to watch but it's the result that matters most.we need at least 8 players to be anywhere competitive if we do manage the miracle.

5.) 11 May 2015 14:19:55
True mate, I have him a 7 because he retained the ball well.

6.) 11 May 2015 16:04:21
to be fair very seldom does stevie smith let u down not brilliant but steady and good with cross balls

7.) 11 May 2015 16:52:51
Thought Miller's distribution was awful,Foster,Zakiukas did OK,Smiff was getting major verbals until he scored. rest did OK. but Cammy Bell poor. we are where we are but every team of ours over last 20 years has had a class goalkeeper. and he's not even Kilmarnock class.

10 May 2015 13:06:38
What a game yesterday, Mcall must have been reading this forum because he went with most of my preferences! Foster, whom I have stoutly defended on here popped up with another great assist. Stevie smith whom u have defended popped up with a goal of the season. Vuckic in attack which was my preferred position for him.

Really looking forward to the return leg at ibrox!

L3mst3r

1.) 10 May 2015 14:23:59
foster has played better as I have posted but still not good enough as defender

2.) 10 May 2015 14:34:49
Remember watching Foster play in a Champions League tie against Valencia I think it was. He was superb that night. I think he's the whipping boy and it's not deserved

3.) 10 May 2015 15:00:29
You just read that in the paper yesterday mate!lol

4.) 10 May 2015 19:54:02
correct gkk he must go

5.) 11 May 2015 09:11:39
Noddy

Also remember Foster's miss against them too. Can't believe people on here giving him such praise. The guy is rank rotten and the sooner he is shown the door the better. He has done nothing all season then when his contract is up he starts playing a bit better. His terrible games far out way his good games and if we do manage to get up do you really think he is the answer in the top league?

Judging by the words used cee it sounds like he would come as a sporting director with cathro taking care of first team duties

Judge McCall on results but give him mitigation in the respect that he has inherited ally's team.

for me he has got almost everything spot on and I would be happy for him to continue as first team manager with a sporting director looking after the scouting, youth team and working alongside mccall with regards to recruitment. Like leviens role at hearts.

You don't have to be an athlete to hit the target from inside the box. I'm not saying Boyd will give you lots of running but when a chance presents itself inside the box Boyd will get it on target.

352 is perfect for us but do we put Wallace in defence and lose an attacking channel? Either that or do you put in mcculloch or moshni? Both are prone to making mistakes and just now we need 100% concentration. We can't afford to chance losing a goal as the play off games are so crucial.

rangers are aching well all we need to do is take our chances and like I said if Boyd had clarks chances he would have a few goals just when we need it.

worth taking a chance? clark can't hit the target. Boyds problem at the start of the season was confidence, the teams confidence and the long ball tactics.

with rangers playing more balls to feet in the box. wallace and foster providing excellent balls into the box this set up is exactly what boyd thrives in and the team are crying out for his abilities. He likes boyd will get shots on target and subsequently goals

I was going to say this mate and in previous posts I have always backed Boyd. Clark can't handle the pressure of playing with Rangers he doesn't have the bottle, he's too small for fosters excellent balls into the box as well but but can both finish and is good in the air. Not too mention his link up play is good. Miller had a lot of faults but his movement and link up play is second to none. Boyd Miller against hibs for me
